Friendliness of staff and cleansiness of hotel was amazing felt nothing was too much to ask whether request or booking restaurant but rooms had fantastic facilities and enjoyed the hospitality and perks of drinks and snacks which are unavailable in most high end hotels making the stay more special. I personally wanted to thank Jack who does night reception who literally went above and beyond to make my stay easier with checkout to requests and any issues I had solved instantly and plus all around great front of house manor and great guest experience making me feel at home and welcome

Being asked to call reception on morning of leaving if late checkout available when defeats late checkout and staff from bar 88 who I found rude and when other guests speaking about me loudly in public because of disability wasn’t put to a halt but found staff also getting involved which made me leave food and drink which is the second time it’s happened after eating there before and happening it was rude and unprofessional as well as discriminatory

Lovely welcome and professional approach to guests. The grounds and hotel is beautifully done, with what appears to be no shortage of staff, a relief in these times. Dinner in Fletchers was excellent, Sommelier was very helpful with our wine choice and everyone was very attentive. The food was delicious. Breakfast in Fletchers. Would hope on warm mornings there would be the option to eat outside, when/if we actually get those days. It was a very nice 'Full English' breakfast, good choice and not over facing thank goodness. There is a gift shop in the grounds, worth a look around to purchase home smells and ornaments.

Our room was next door to a service room and the sound of running water, initially thinking an upstairs room had left their bath running. The low drone of a machine noise could be heard throughout the night, so much so I even got up at 3am walking round the room to check where it was coming from. It was only going down to breakfast we realised the service room was next door. So the sleep wasn't the best unfortunately, especially considering the quality of the room and the price paid.

The staff were exceptional. I have an EV and there were quite a number of guests with EVs but they moved the cars onto charge sometimes in the middle of the night to ensure all cars were charged in the morning. the Three Graces Spa is beautiful and the therapists exceptional. The choice of quality restaurants on site means you can sample different kinds of cuisine each evening.

The room lighting is controlled by central switching and occasionally you would like to be able to control one light independently (very minor). I had a deluxe room that was at the top of the building - although beautifully furnished and equipped had I known it had a sloping ceiling because of the roof, I would have chosen something else as I am tall.

At breakfast there was many staff but it felt chaotic. We asked for hot water for the tea but it was forgotten, we asked for toast with scrambled egg, but we had to do two reminders for the toast whilst the scrambled egg was getting cold. We could hear that other customers were having to chase staff up for requests they had made.

Our experience at Grantley Hall was nothing short of exceptional. From the warm and attentive staff to the breathtaking location, every detail was perfection. The rooms, spa, and facilities were the finest we've encountered, while the beautifully manicured gardens and outstanding restaurants and bars made our stay truly unforgettable.

Amazing staff! They couldn’t do enough for my girlfriend and I. We were made to feel at ease immediately. The second thing we noticed after the great staff was how lovely the place smelt throughout. Along side the beautiful decor and outstanding attention to detail we knew right away that we would definitely be visiting again. Thank you to the staff for making our stay so special!

Nothing to dislike.

It was truly the best stay we’ve ever had in England. Thank you so much to Grantley and all employees who made sure we had a wonderful relaxing stay! You’re setting the best example of what U.K. hospitality sector can achieve.

There were couple minor hiccups but not worth mentioning here.

Location is perfect and attention to detail throughout the property is exceptional. From the drive in, to the reception, restaurants, grounds, spa and of coarse the room you stay in, all is maintained beautifully. Staff couldn’t be more helpful and accommodating.

What a stunning place I just loved it The staff were amazing,magical with all the Christmas decorations up it was like stepping back in time. I was treated like a princess for a few days

Amazing property, one of the best places I've ever stayed. The design, architecture is exceptional.

The food ( not the Michelin star restaurant) is very pricey for what it is. I didn't like the hidden extras. The sauce to go with your steak , extra , bread extra. They shouldn't need to do that with the amount charged for the courses.
