The Room was fantastic clean ver y comfortable The reception when I got there was extremely freindly The dinner was amazing

I booked breakfast for 8 am went down for 8 when I got to restaurant was sat at table then realised I was only one in there the room was massive and being the night before was extremely cold there was a small heat fan which was of no significance at all very odd the radiators weren't on and it was very cold .one of the hotel staff Came over and asked what I'd like to drink I said coffee when he brought the cup of coffee out took my order it came out 25 mins later which bring I was only guest in there was very odd as well .. Why I'm pointing this out is I feel the morning staff let the evening staff down not good at all I would stay at hotel again but would definitely not book the breakfast

Location excellent handy for Ripon and Harrogate. (Bus stop outside hotel with a regular service. Room comfortable and clean with good facilities. Food excellent. Service of staff, both hotel and dining room helpful and caring. Good value for money

We had a lovely stay for birthday celebrations 🍾 the service by the staff was exceptional & even got a birthday card & little treat at end of meal, location was spot on for the ripon races. Food was really good too with a great selection of starters & mains and also they even had the biggest Gin list ever 👌 we will definitely be back & recommend to our friends & family.

The only thing that I would say was the green light for fire exit in our room was off putting when waking up.

The inn is really nice. We were upset we couldn’t arrive earlier to enjoy the restaurant as I could just tell it would be good. The decor is very nice. Anyway, what little time we had it was very nice. We were very grateful to receive a room upgrade & it was lovely! Spotless, very comfortable, quiet/relaxing & I wish we could have stayed 2 nights!! We had a great sleep. Breakfast was also 10/10. I hope we can travel the 3.5 hours drive from Glasgow to visit again. Great value too!

Liked everything. A suggestion is to have an umbrella in the room to get to & from restaurant in the rain.

Had a one night stay so we could visit Ripon, so excellent location. Room was a standard double, exceptionally clean, very comfortable bed so had an excellent sleep and was cosy and warm. All extras available, hair dryer, fan, and toiletries all provided, even shower caps and cotton buds! Shower was a waterfall shower which was really nice and even had a rack to put toiletries on which was so handy as having a bad back I find it hard to bend. Breakfast was absolutely delicious, plenty of choice and good quality produce. Staff were all friendly and professional, we had a good check in and a really nice goodbye. Would highly recommend and will definitely be returning. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Lovely building and decor done to a high standard and all recently updated/maintained. Fabulous cooked breakfast. Comfortable room and bed. Garden looked like a great place to try on another sunnier visit. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Location great - a 20 min easy drive in to Harrogate.

Room (room 1) a little on the small side with a small double bed and a chair that was just to big to be in the tight space. Also a hot room which meant noise from outside with having the window quite wide. Otherwise very comfortable with nice touches.

My only reason for not giving 5 stars is that the menu in our room for the evening meals had the roast main course at £17. 95 & when we came to pay were in fact charged £29 each. I think this was because it was Mother’s Day & aimed at people not staying in the Inn. Just thought it was a bit confusing. But a very nice roast dinner as always.

The staff are excellent very helpful and attentive. The food was absolutely wonderful both evening meal and dinner very good indeed. Parking is easy and there is a lovely garden

The room we had was rather small and the bed only a small double bed we would ask for a larer room with twin beds if we return would not ming paying more for this if needed as otheraise we really enjoyed our stay

We needed dog friendly accommodation. They really go above and beyond for dogs . Dogs are allowed in the bar and bedrooms! The room had its own balcony which was perfect for the dogs. Breakfast and dinner were amazing. Best meal we've had in a long time. All the staff were so friendly and accommodating. Everything was fabulous, no complaints at all!!
