The room looked newly refurbished and had tasteful pastel colours. The en-suite was large and had all one needs in an en-suite, as well as being smart and clean. Nothing was too much trouble as later in the evening we said, after our delicious food, that we were cool in the room. Staff rushed to quickly put on the radiator and the towel rail; very soon we were lovely and warm. Chefs evening meal was delicious and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Parking was in the pubs handy car park. Check out was simple.

It was lovely, it was a nice quiet location with a nice flowing river out front. So if you like back ground noise of water flowing while you sleep I guarantee a good nights sleep! Especially in the nice comfy bed and comfortable pillows and duvet I was out like a light! The owners were lovely and welcoming and was a nice friendly pub, didn’t get a chance to try the food but it did smell good especially that roast! Was glad as well to have somewhere to park and Harrogate town was only a 16 min drive away too.

The Masons Arms is in a very quiet and attractive location with a ripping brook along the roadside and pretty cottages. The room was clean and quite comfortable with thick walls which made it cosy - but in the summer a cool fan would be appreciated - we found the thick duvet and thick walls too hot ! [Fortunately the windows could be opened for fresh air] Parking at the rear was convenient and seemed secure. Food and beer served in the pub was good.

See above, the room and duvet was too hot in July. Only one chair and no table to sit at for 'breakfast' which was provided in the room.

The Masons Arms is a delightful pub in a gorgeous village of Bishop Monkton. Very quiet and beautiful to walk around after dinner. The breakfast was just what was needed first thing. Very helpfully replenished each day.

There wasn't anything we didn't like. It was a perfect stay for our visit to Harrogate to see The Great Yorkshire Show. A short distance away from the hustle and bustle of the busyness.

Superb value for money , we had the apartment which was very clean and modern , it had every mod con you could need to be self sufficient, cooker , washing machine dishwasher fridge freezer etc , lots of room with the the added bonus of a roof terrace which gets the sun all evening, the pub downstairs also did great food with a friendly atmosphere

Stayed numerous times and always same high standards. Room cosy and clean. Lovely little breakfast along with fully stocked kettle & coffee tray. Best fresh orange juice ever. Pub staff are so friendly and owners too. Food is served promptly and always top notch. Village setting is soo pretty and perfect location for local flower show. Am certain we will be back.

The location was good for our needs , the staff very friendly and it was very clean . The food and beer were great in the evening. We were able to check in early which was very helpful thanks.

Room 2 was very small and we have stayed in much bigger rooms for less of a price. As the rooms were priced at the same rate we hadn’t realised that this was the smallest room. We knew a cooked breakfast wasn’t available and the breakfast left in the room was adequate but the cake and biscuits were very sweet and unappealing to us. The loud macerating toilet sometimes flushed spontaneously while sitting on it which made us jump!

The apartment was extremely spacious and very clean. We were visiting family nearby and was an excellent location for us. Situated in a very pretty village, which would be a very good base for discovering the surrounding area. We ate in the pub for an evening meal which was delicious - very large portions and the staff were very friendly .

Superb accommodation very clean apartment. Would highly recommend. The masons arms is a fantastic pub food is amazing had an evening meal also a Sunday lunch both meals exceptional. Staff very welcoming and friendly can’t do enough for you. We will definitely be coming back one of the best places we have stayed at well done guy’s xx

The room was exceptionally clean and well maintained. Breakfast was a great gesture. Bed was super comfy . We had a meal in the dining area and the food was exceptionally good. Big portions that was more than enough for 2 people. Absolutely loved the whole experience and would definitely recommend.
