Libs, the host, was very welcoming and friendly. The accommodation is an old, characterful house in a very quiet village, very tranquil. The room assigned to me was well appointed, had everything I needed (and more) with comfortable twin beds. The (private) bathroom was across the landing but dressing gowns were provided so this wasn't an issue. Libs did offer me an upgraded en-suite room but what I was initially shown was very sufficient for a short two-night stay. Breakfast at a pre-booked time was plentiful and delicious, with quality ingredients. Overall, a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. I would definitely return if I was in the area.

Nothing springs to mind

The location was perfect for our planned activities. We received the warmest of welcomes from the owner and were shown to our suite of rooms where there was a huge comfortable bed, lots of space for clothes and for relaxing and a lovely bathroom. Breakfast was superb and we were able to relax in a beautiful garden.

The only thing that would have improved our stay would have been a longer stay.

Libs, the owner, was very pleasant and contacted us before our stay to check if we had any queries, and was very attentive and helpful during our stay. The breakfast was excellent, room was comfy, and location was perfect and quiet, but not too far from Ripon.

Our twin room was one of the smaller rooms, and was not en-suite, but we had our own bathroom on the same landing.

A beautiful setting for a fantastic bed and breakfast. Couldn’t fault a thing. Libs is a lovely host, bed super comfortable, lovely de or and a breakfast excellent. Libs made me feel extremely welcome. I’d highly recommend Mickley Bed and Breakfast to anyone.

Libs was a great host who made us feel very welcomed. The house was clean, and quite in a lovely little village. Libs kindly catered for me being gluten free, and was very kind to our dog! Will stop again if in the area, thanks Libs.

The location, parking, king size comfortable bed,English breakfast, hostess let us know the area and where we could walk the dog.The house is large with a sitting room,we had the Amber room which suited all our needs.Rear garden has a patio with table and chairs, flower and shrub border and a lawn.Overall Excellent. We would recommend it .

Everything was, as far as we were concerned, perfect. The location suited us perfectly, the room facilities were extensive, the bed very comfortable, and the cleanliness first class. Lib took every effort to make our stay as pleasurable as possible from food requirements ( including much of it home made) to information on the surrounding area and the best local facilities. We also had fresh flowers in the room. As we requested the Amber Room, we also had a sitting/dressing room as well as the ample en-suite bath/shower room. We would definitely use this accommodation again.

I enjoyed a lovely week at Mickley and was looked after well. A good range of choices for breakfast. Good chats and a comfortable room. Libs was welcoming and helpful with advice about the local area. Mickley is situated around 5 miles outside Ripon in a lovely quiet village. It was in a good location for driving to other local places and attractions.

The beds were really comfortable and we were really made at home. Nothing was too much trouble.

The room got hot during the heat wave but didn't stop us from sleeping.

Lovely room. Tasty Breakfast. Would stay there if we are that way again.
