Friendly helpful staff, very nice and comfortable room, Sky TV channels, very comfortable bed, lovely duvet. Great breakfast with plenty of choice! Plenty of parking.

Fire alarm went off at 1am, for 10 - 15 minutes. Met up outside with several others, but no one really knew what was happening (VERY cold!!). Went silent, no sign of a problem, so back to bed. Went off again briefly just after 7 am! Luckily, staff in by then to turn it off. Apparently, someone smoking in a bedroom....clearly didn't dare come out and confess/ apologise!! Frustrating, but not the fault of anyone connected with the pub.

Room - spacious, plenty of charge points, availability of a wide variety of teas & other beverages, provision of both sparkling & still water, Sky TV, comfortable bed sheets, provision of fan & extra bedding if needed, lovely bathroom. Hotel - very friendly, courteous & helpful staff, whether at the bar, restaurant, or elsewhere, went extra mile by returning my charger I left upon departure, running up to me before my bus arrived. Much appreciated! Lovely decor & atmospherics! Meals excellent (especially duck egg for which I requested compliments to the chef) Best wishes for the festive season, thank you for the stay!

Room was comfortable, and very clean. The amenities were good tea coffee and that was also a mini bar that was very reasonably priced. The pubgarden was very nice with lots of tables with umbrellas and also covered areas for when it rained. We had dinner at the restaurant, and the food was very good quality delicious and reasonably priced. All in all a place we would return to.

The room we stayed in was the best room they had. The wallpaper was very dark colored which made the room very gloomy. The lighting in the room was inadequate. But all in all it was still a pleasant stay.

I stayed for four nights in a very comfortable and clean room. Breakfasts and eavening meals were from a standard pub menu but were very good quality and the service was excellent. Each morning I was asked if I wanted the room to be refreshed or if there was anything I needed. I was suprised but delighted that all of the waiting staff new what an Affogato was even though it does not appear on the menu. There is plenty of free parking at the pub and the area is very quiet.

The emergency lighting in the room was far to bright, so I had to put some paper over it to dull it down, Apart from that everything else was perfect.

Omg stay in the wishing well .. the bath tub is to the next level ! Amazing The food was delicious , duck top notch! Even my partner said best tasting curry his tried . Lovely walk around the village & fields with our 2 dogs . Love it being so dog friendly too and being able to let them off in the beer garden is a bonus.

Wishing well needs a gate at entrance so we could just let them out in the little front bit would been nice and would help stop people parking their cars there too as they don’t take much notice.

I loved my stay, the room was delightful and had everything I needed. Comfy Bed and a nice selection of teas and coffees. The pub food was amazing and the bar staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was made with very fresh produce, it was tasty and a terrific start to the day.

The pub music was noisy in my room (it didn't bother me too much but certain people will find it very annoying as it continued until 11pm) I found the best solution was to go downstairs and sink a couple of pints.

Breakfast was very good. Location great for where we were going. Nice ambience and nicely decorated throughout the building. Good parking

Although we had an upgrade (which was appreciated) the room was very small. If our original room was smaller I’m not sure we could have managed. As it was, it was very difficult to manoeuvre around the bed without trip hazards due to the size of the room.

We spent the night here with an evening meal, we liked the room very much, extremely clean and comfortable. Very nice and well sized en suite water pressure in the shower was very good. Food was fabulous, would recommend the Italian seared rump steak. The bar had plenty of stock, and the wine list was also very good. The Argentinian Malbec was lovely. Location was very rural and quiet.

We didn't find anything wrong with our stay.

Warm and friendly welcome. Food was fantastic and all staff really polite and helpful. Room was immaculately clean, well presented, homely and comfortable with free fast WiFi & Sky. All at a really good price. We only had a very brief stay as we were travelling onwards and so regrettably had to leave before breakfast. Fortunately we have family living not so far away and hope to make full use of ‘The Queens Arms’ in the not too distant future. A gem of a place!

Just off the M4. Easy to find. Staff very attentive. Had a problem with no hot water, but staff couldn't be more apologetic. Bed was so big and comfortable, we both had a great nights sleep. Although I did lose my husband a couple of times in the night as he was so far away. Should have said it's a family bed, because you could easily get four people in it. Beautiful and quiet surroundings. Have decided that any time in the future we have to do the journey from Devon to Norfolk, this will be a must stop over to break up the journey. What's not to like. Breakfast was lovely and prompt. Hubby prefers bacon to be just shown to the grill. But we have no complaints. Locals seem friendly enough. Seriously though, don't exhaust yourself on a long journey when you can find little establishments that give such great service. Let's keep these businesses alive.

What's not to like. Didn't like the rain.
