I had a spacious and well equipped room. The location was hard to beat if you want to be in the centre of things. Breakfast was fine and there was plenty of communal area in the pub below. It has some historical interest.

Too hot at night. Unfortunately the window could be opened only a few inches at the bottom, as it was fitted with restrictors. The room became overheated and no alternative way of venting the hot air had been installed. Also, if you needed milk for coffee you were invited to go down to reception and collect a jug of fresh milk. But there are circumstances when it's more convenient to have those little pots of UHT milk - as well.

Super staff. Good facilities. A lovely big bath and shower. Plenty of hot water. Room was a little dark as there was an adjoining roof directly outside the window. The bed was comfortable but there was a large table type thing next to it which made getting in and out a bit awkward. Arrived by pushbike and they were very helpful in providing safe and secure storage for them. A little expensive but it was full and I understand supply and demand. I had the choice! I'd definitely use The Three Swans again if I was staying in Hungerford.

Primarily the table beside the bed but it wasn't a big deal.

All of the staff we encountered were very friendly and approachable. The breakfast had a good selection for Continental and cooked food. Our room (116) had air conditioning which was a bonus as in the middle of a heatwave. Loved the accessories in the bathroom, great smelling items.

The comfy chairs in the lounge area where we had morning coffee and evening drinks were all very stained & marked, they could do with a good clean. It was a bit off putting to be honest. We noticed from the drinks tarriff, if you ordered a Gin & Tonic it was one pricwe but if you ordered a Gin and then a tonic seperately it was a lot cheaper! Not the hotels fault but will bring it to the attention of The Coaching Inn Group.

Breakfast: Excellent choice, well presented and very good quality. Dinner: Same again, a good choice at good value for money, well presented and served. Room: Bath plug was stuck with water in bath, so couldn't really have a bath or shower in case of overflow. (Reported to reception on departure). Bath room could do with a toilet brush, otherwise very good. Nice size bed and room, facilities as expected otherwise.

Parking arrangements should be added to the website in a prominent position. There were instructions, but these aappeared to be out of date and was slightly inconvenient.

the manner of the waitress at Breakfast - short, curt and stressed. I spoke with hotel reception at the time of making my booking and discussed my specific dietary requirements (simple cooked porridge for breakfast) to which the hotel staff confirmed would not be a problem. However, when I arrived for breakfast and asked for porridge I was pointd to the container with uncooked oats on the side board and told that porridge was not possible. Everything appeared too much trouble for the lady serving on her own. We spent three days and each day was the same attitude by the individual. Sad.

I stayed here for 1 week and as soon as I arrived the whole team were so kind and friendly. The hotel was warm and cosy and everything I needed for this trip. The room had a heater I could choose to have on and how warm/cool etc. I had breakfast everyday and tried various options which were all wonderful! Nothing beats being welcomed with a large pot of tea at 7am :D I had a few dinners here also, which were also delicious. I highly recommend the Pie of the Day. I would absolutely make this my number one place to stay in the area!

This was a return visit as we had enjoyed our previous stay. The room was lovely with fabulously high ceilings and lots of little extras like toiletries and a duck to play with in the bath! I can only imagine how many of these get taken. We had lunch, dinner and breakfast at the hotel, all were great. Thoroughly enjoyed breakfast as it was a sensible size and not overwhelming with lots of choice. The satff were super helpful and explained the menu, which was adapted to cater for gluten free. We will would definitely stay again. Thank you.

Everything was great

The hotel is in an excellent location, parking tricky to locate but available. Dog friendly, our little daxi was warmly welcomed- really appreciated that. Bed was super comfy, lovely selection on tea tray too. Bathroom could do with a deep clean, but has definitely been cleaned- no issues. Rubber duck made us giggle! Can staff check the complimentary toiletries are correctly labelled? Body lotion was labelled as shampoo. Fab quality toiletries- Thankyou! Special mention for Dot- what a superstar. Soo helpful! We will definitely be back :) and say YES to breakfast!!

Staff were all brilliant and super helpfull and welcoming. Bed was very comfy and room spotlessly clean. Food was all really good.

The low ceilings our room left ledges and the bathroom door frame really low, appreciate it is a listed building but think it is possible to put Padding in keeping with the decor in or be given the option of a different room at check in if you are tall (as we are) we have lots of bumps on our heads! No hash brown or potato option with the full English breakfast- an essential breakfast item for us! Bigger range if pastries would have been nice too.

Excellent location, very clean and comfortable room. A kind member of staff (think he was the bar manager) gave us his own fan for our room as it was so hot and the windows couldn’t open fully (safety reasons) - he is a great asset to the company !

There appeared to be staff problems , as both reception staff seemed stressed and disinterested, both when we arrived and during breakfast/checkout. Everything was rushed and as a matter of fact ! It felt awkward especially on checkin :(
