I had a great stay at Citadines Barbican. The hotel is in an excellent location, with easy access to both the bus and tube, making it very convenient for getting around London. The neighborhood felt safe, and the secure entry system added an extra layer of comfort. The hotel itself was clean and well-maintained. My room was spotless, comfortable, and surprisingly quiet—perfect for a good night’s rest. I also appreciated the helpful and friendly reception staff, who were always available to assist with any questions. Overall, a solid choice for anyone looking for a clean, quiet, and conveniently located place to stay in London. I would definitely return!

It`s been almost 3 weeks since I checked out and I still recalling this accommodation with tenderness. I stayed for only one night, needed to be close to Stansted Express at the Liverpool Station and it was such a dream, honestly. It was kinda ironic to stay here cause I am possibly the hugest fan of Slow Horses and this building is literally is on the main office`s shots and just around the corner from Slough House. ONE minute from Barbican and Golden Lane Estate, 3 min from the Tube and bus stations. The whole area is absolutely my favourite in London, walking around Barbican at night was so special. Cinematic stuff, I swear. The room was perfect, I`ve got nothing to add to that, just perfect perfection. Not very small and enough to stay properly. The bed was fantastic, kitchen, bathroom, view - loved it all so much, I just want to stay here again. I never felt such home in London right next to my beloved locations, I needed it on my last day after a few tricky days in Scotland. There was an european socket, whoa! No stairs, no need to suffer with a luggage!
I couldn`t stay here forever lol

Very clean and comfortable room. Incredibly convenient location near the metro station "Barbican". However, this place is very close to the center and it is possible to walk in 20-30 minutes, which is what I did. Polite people at the reception, quick and convenient check-in. The room is quiet and you can not hear any sounds from the street or from the neighboring rooms. I was incredibly pleased with my stay at this hotel. I was especially pleased with the convenient bedside table.
I booked a room with a discount and the price was perfect. However, without the discount - the price is a bit high. Otherwise - I did not notice any shortcomings.

Great location, right next to Barbican Station, and not far from Farringdon, which has an Elizabeth Line station. A spacious room with a large bathroom, which is very comfortable. Unlimited coffee (including decaf) and the fitness center are great additions to the stay. There are many nice restaurants and breakfast spots located very close to the hotel. The receptionists who checked us in were very nice.
One cleaning included in the room rate during a multi-day stay would be a great option. While the reception desk was very friendly and professional when we arrived, the same cannot be said for the time we were leaving. The receptionist didn’t honor us with a single glance or word, not to mention a half-smile. She grumpily opened the luggage room for us and didn’t even respond to our 'thank you, goodbye'. That left a really bad impression.

I stayed at Citadines Barbican London for one night and had an amazing experience! The staff were so friendly and welcoming. We were able to drop our bags off early, check in smoothly later, and even got a free upgrade to a deluxe studio. The room was spacious, clean, well equipped and had great lighting, AC/heating. The location is perfect as it is just a 2 minute walk from Barbican Station with easy access to Central London, plus loads of restaurants and even a Tesco Express nearby. Late checkout made the whole stay even better. I’ll definitely be coming back!

The room was bigger and more comfortable than others in this price range that I've stayed in before (shout-out especially to the kitchen area and the numerous types of outlets) - my expectations were exceeded. It was very clean. The staff were kind, professional and helpful. My friend and I really appreciated that when we came to pick up our luggage from the luggage storage, the staff member checked thoroughly that we were taking our own bags and not someone else's - not all hotels check it that carefully. Next time I'm in London, this hotel is definitely one of the very first ones I'm checking for availability :)

The room is great, a comfortable desk, a nice kitchenette and the room felt spacious. The TV was also great for relaxing. The room is fantastic if you want to feel at home and get some work done.
Sadly when I was there, they were replacing the door to fire doors so there was a lot of noise every day. But it seemed like just bad luck on my part to stay during that time. The area itself is kinda sparse, so don't expect much to do nearby. For me it was great since it was next to work but anywhere else would require taking the train and for most locations would require changing lines.

Perfect accommodation for the very reasonable price. Hotel is nicely located, close to the subway in a walking distance to a lot of attraction and pubs. Hotel room is way bigger than the typical hotel in London which was a very nice surprise. Also room was nicely equipped with a lot handy staff like drawers in corridor, table attached to a bed and a separate corner with an extra table and a chair. Moreover, room had both EU and UK sockets in addition to usb sockets which significantly simplifies stay for travelers outside UK. Overall, in my experience it was the best accommodation in London.

Cleanliness Comfortable bed Good location Twin beds were provided as requested Modern rooms Missing TV câble - the male receptionist informed maintenance and it was fixed on the same day.
The overall staff could be more welcoming. The housekeeping never greeted us in the hallway and only some receptionists did. The female receptionist doing the morning shift on Tuesday had quite an agressive and unfriendly tone when I asked where I could grab some coffee. It may be her natural tone but it just made me uncomfortable. Slippery floor in the bathroom.

The room was quiet and bright with a nice, big window overlooking the street. There is a fridge, a large TV and there is plenty of space, especially for a central London hotel. The room is incredibly clean and the beds are comfortable - a bonus that the air conditioning is very easy to use. The location is fantastic - 20 minute tube ride from Paddington and across the street from a nice pub, plenty of restaurants close by and a Tesco Express around the corner. The staff are friendly and welcoming but leave you to it, which I really like. This is my third stay at this hotel so I must like it!
