Easy accessibility - Just 5 minutes walkway in Exchange Quay station(Blue line) or Salford Quay station (Red line) Safety location Plenty of Convenience stores and restaurants nearby Friendly staff - Mr Ali is nice person and helpfulness with politely manner Cube bathroom is fine for me due to I’m Asian. Just like the hotel in Japan that I am no complaining Microwave provided for reheating hot foods
Table is small, suggest folding table instead for limited spaces Recommend providing the freeze room for foods Not daily clearing of rooms. I left 8 days but only 4th day of fully cleaning Improvement of shower is required that it is difficult to manage and fixed. Recommend one more tap at the lower part of the bathroom

This ibis is classified by the chain as a "budget" hotel, but I have to say that the level of service provided here - with the exception of things like hot drink making facilities in the room, which one knew in advance were not provided free - was a lot higher than I have experienced at other hotels which were most definitely not budget. My bed was properly made daily and I received fresh towels on the second day. The room was exceptionally clean, the bed seductively comfortable and the view of the Manchester skyline was interesting at all times and sublime at sunrise. Staff on reception were never less than cheery and helpful!

Its in a fantastic location, with easy access to the tram, making it super convenient for getting around the city. The room was comfortable, and the shower pressure was excellent—one of the best we’ve experienced!
However, the hospitality from the ground staff could be improved. While the hotel itself offers great amenities, a more welcoming and attentive service would make the experience even better. Overall, it’s a good place to stay for its location and comfort, but I hope to see better service on our next visit.

We've stayed at Ibis Budgets before, and knew what to expect. Comfortable, clean, no frills. Good location for the Lowry & Salford Quays, and very easy to get the tram into the city
The documentation we received gave the post code as M5 and our sat nav didn't like this. In fact the correct post code is M50 . We managed to get close to the hotel, but as far as we could see there were no signs at all for the car park ( which is shared with the AC Marriot ). These things could be made far clearer, particularly as it's accessed off one side of a very busy dual carriageway and you're past the car park entrance before the Ibis sign appears

Receptionist was nice enough to mention a few things we would be needing for our stay which was available free of charge which we appreciated including access to microwave. She explained how we could get hot water if needed. The lighting in the room was good including having a control of it from the bed space. We liked the position of the room overlooking the store and filling station. Though the trams were making their movement, it was not noisy
We forgot to ask about bath for baby/toddler. I felt we could have checked if this was available on request but sometime felt if it was available, we would have been told. I was hoping their would be getting a nice foot mat we could stand on after bathing to prevent us stepping wet feet on the room flior

The room is clean and quite spacious. The location is within walking distance of Manchester United Old Trafford Stadium and a tram station that could bring you to the city centre. It's also close to grocery stores. They also have a microwave in their restaurant so you can have the option to bring your food to heat.
I forgot this is a budget hotel (but it's my mistake). Despite being close to a tram station, the distance itself to the city centre is quite far as it's in zone 2 with different prices of the tram ticket if we're only in zone 1.

the room was very nice and cosy, bed was comfy, tv had good variety of channels on and shower was fab to be honest, there was things didnt like which as you will see i put about but dont knock the hotel as it was in great location with mcdonalds, greggs, corner shop, petrol station all within walking distance
the room was pretty clean however, when we go away we take our firestick incase the tv's havent got netflix or anything so went to plug it in and behind the tv it was absolutely clottered with dust and there was a used ear cotton bud with ear wax on the end of it, photo will show how much dust and the used ear cotton bud

Location is ideal being within walking distance of Salford Quay and Exchange Quay tram stops with trams taking around 20 minutes to reach the city centre. Room was large, c;lean with good shower and air heating worked fine. Staff receptionist excellent and cleaning staff did an excellent job. Excellent value for money. The room comes with soap/shower gel, towels, bedding, pillows etc and toilet paper and television it does NOT include a kettle, milk, sugar, tea, coffee biscuits etc so you don't end up paying for things you don't use. You can hire a kettle from staff receptionist if needed. Buffet breakfast was excellent especially when the tram going passed the window outside. There is small garage with Asda, Greggs and Starbucks sections inside and a Domino's pizza within 5 minutes walk of the hotel.
Buffet breakfast (continental breakfast) was rather disorganised you need to queue up to prove that breakfast has been prepaid for but they are short staffed often quicker to simply grab a tray and plate and wait for them to ask for your room number etc when staff are elsewhere. Menu intermittent no chocolate au pain on Tuesday morning, no eggs on Thursday or Friday mornings (no delivery given as the excuse for lack of eggs).

Very clean and comfortable rooms, friendly and helpful staff, easy to get too as the directions are also well explained. Staff even allowed us to store our luggage, that saves us lots of hassle.good value for money, especially considering how pricey London can be, close to Heathrow airport
Some small, minor things: Some appliances/equipment can be outdated, for example our TV. Got some issues with some furniture being worn out like a fridge cupboard missing a hinge, which I have later reported to the staff as well as a toilet seat being slightly loose, otherwise everything all good

Pleasant and helpful staff. Great breakfast with plenty of choices. The shower was very good. Parking easy and reasonable value for 24 hours, allowing us to enjoy the location after check-out without moving the car. Although small, the room was comfortable and quite modern. The view from our 7th floor window over Salford Quay was impressive. It was nice to have very flexible breakfast times (7am - noon at weekends) and 12 noon check-out as standard.
The lack of tea/coffee making facilities in the room, (although I understand a kettle could be borrowed with a deposit). As an absolute minimum, I would expect a tumbler in the room so that water could be drunk from the tap. This is essential for anyone taking medicines, and to encourage adequate hydration of guests! A plastic or disposable one would be OK. The bed was a little firm, but we slept well, and that is just a personal preference.
