The breakfast was excellent & got us off to a great start each morning. Joseph the chef puts a great effort in laying out an enormous spread all types breakfasts you could want . From full English, cereals , fruit, hot & cold drinks etc. All the hotel staff we encountered & dealt with were super Friendly & responsive. The view from our room had a wonderful panoramic view of Eccles all the way to the distance hills.

We had an issue with the hotness of our shower water. It was scolding heat & the mixer did not appear to work properly. I reported this to the reception & they said they would get someone to look at it. When I next took a shower unfortunately it was still extremely hot. I only stayed 2 nights but if I was staying longer or on a business trip this would have been very disruptive & I would have wanted to change rooms.

It was very close from Piccadilly train station (15 mins) and to Heaton park (15 mins). The water pressure in the shower was very good, the bed was very comfortable, and the room was clean. Felt very safe as a solo female traveller. Brilliant location for those going to concerts.

The bedroom walls could do with being re-painted as you could see wear and tear on the walls. Beds could do with new bed sheets as my duvet had small holes in it. It was quite expensive for its location outside the city, and it’s a small bit run down. There is little/no signage to inform customers that reception is on floor 1 rather than ground floor, despite there being someone on a desk there.

Very, very clean, great aircon (very much needed on such a hot day), surprisingly good view from room (high up over Eccles, looking towards Patricroft), comfortable bed, really nice ameneties, close to shops, eateries and pubs. Very quiet, slept like a log.

Shower pressuer superb, but a wee bit too hot, even on lowest settings (would have really liked a cooler shower on such a hot day). Aircon was actually too cold when on full and my pinkies felt it. :) Turned it down to lowest setting when I needed to, this is not a complaint, it was superb. Cost a little high but that's cos those two Manc idiots from Burnage were playing Heaton Park (how I hate those Gallagher Brothers).

I was really impressed by the spacious room and the cleanliness of the hotel. The food at the restaurant was delicious and reasonably priced. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The location was good, with the metro station just a 5-minute walk away, and Aldi conveniently located just across the road.

The Wi-Fi and overall connection were VERY poor. There was no 'Do Not Disturb' sign available in the room upon arrival, and I had the door opened on me a couple of times while sleeping before one was offered. I recommend asking for one as soon as you check in to avoid this issue. At some point, you have to go up or down some stairs to get to the lift, which is a hassle if you have heavy luggage. You better hit the Gym beforehand, or be prepared to have strangers offering you help you with your luggage - I am really thankful for those who helped me by the way!

Hotel was an inexpensive stay in part of an office block-Evening food good quality and good size portions. Bar very reasonable prices and plenty choices. Breakfast very good self service cooked food with plenty of options. Room basic but clean and comfortable. Clean bathroom and hot shower. Good effective aircon in room. Location away from centre but within 10-15 minutes drive of the Salford Quays, Imperial War Museum North, Coronation Street Experience and MUFC grounds. The staff were helpful and friendly.

Room described "with view" but outside on 8th floor windows very dirty. From the lifts staircases either up or down to access rooms as well as reception/restaurant and separate breakfast room so not suitable for wheelchair users. Restaurant Food could have been hotter when served.

Booked in here as we were seeing a show at the AO Arena. It is a taxi ride in, but that was OK for us. Check-in easy and simple. £2 parking per night, which is a great price compared to other hotels we've stayed in. Room large and comfortable, but the bed was two beds pushed together and far too big for the room, which made getting in and out of bed a tad difficult. Would prefer mugs rather small cups but that's our preference. Shower great. Added bonus of fridge in the room. Breakfast is very good and plentiful. We were on floor 14 right at the top, so could see for miles. The only gripe is there are no signs to tell you where the rooms are after exiting the lift and it being in an old office block is abit odd to get your head round and getting to the restaurant would not suit those with motability issues; thankfully I had my husband with me to lend a hand. Would I stay here again.... Yes.

Oh what a night.....late March back in 25, what a lady what a night! I tell you what pal we've had a cracking one nighter stay over here at the ode Ox in Manchester! I paid £58 for bed and breakfast for a Friday night and in this day and age let me tell you Rodney.....that is a bargain son! I asked for a room on the top floor with a stunning view and was given the 12th floor with a cracking view of the neglected shopping center opposite. This didn't dampen our spirits though as the room was delightful and looked like it had just had a refurb it was lovely and the bed......extra wide was so comfy I've just had a lovely night's sleep although the pillows are a little low could do with an extra one really especially if you suffer with the ode bad neck syndrome! Tram stops a few mins walk away so the location is just absolutely blob on! Hotel charges £2 parking for the night which again is spot on. I do know how to spoil the ode wife, I tell you what pal she just doesn't know how good she's got it! Till next time Ox 🐂 my son keep up the good work 👍

We used as Excellent budget hotel no frills and very close to Salford Royal Hospital. Reception area and bar/dining area very nice. Bedroom basic and comfortable. Bathroom lovely and new looking & nice carpet. We ordered 2 evening meals to take back to the room were excellent- fish & chips and vegetable lasagna. We collected from the bar. A peaceful place to stay. Parking £2 per day paid at reception- easy to find a space. 3 excellent lifts. This is a converted office block - 2 floors to each lift stop -you will either go down 6 steps or go up 6 steps to get to your desired floor. Room temp nice. Tea/coffee in room. All staff were professional and lovely. Hotel near Eccles tram stop for Manch. City Centre. Aldi is opposite and Morrisons not far. Would 💯 come back.

Only wished for 3rd pillow but that’s it.

It's like the 9th or 10th time we come back and everything is perfect as usual. Clean, quiet, functional hair drier, clean white bathroom towels, hand soap, shower gel, very warm,Coffee, tea, kettle, comfortable bed, just 3-5 min walking distance from train station, tram or bus, also less than 5min walking to supermarkets, shops or local restaurants. Staff is very kind and helpful. All I can say is thank you for great service at an amazing value. There are many city centre hotels ,more expensive that don't offer all that Ox Eccles hotel offers. That's why I preffer to keep choosing Ox Eccles despite it is an approx 30 min travel by tram from where I usually go on a regular basis in Manchester.

I liked everything.Nothing negative to say about it.

Fantastic value for money for a long stay if you're just needing a place to sleep. I personally used it while recovering from a surgery for 9 days and was perfect for that. The place is conveniently opposite an aldi. it's clear the bathrooms are new and showers have modern big shower heads for a great shower. Beds are comfy if a little soft, staff more than happy to supply extra pillows and fresh towels. Rooms a pleasant size Staff were very pleasant and friendly, really made to feel welcome Would stay there again for a budget travel down to Manchester.

Hoovering could have been a little more thorough when we first entered, but that's being a little picky. The showers are a little tricky and stiff with getting the right temperature but the staff were fantastic at helping fix it. Accessibility isn't super great. The lifts arrive in the middle of the floors, meaning you have half a flight of stairs up or down to reach a floor which is a little strange One very small inconvenience was no spoons for the tea/coffee station. So I'd bring some instead of using coffee sticks provided
