I was there last Sunday and bank holiday Monday to watch a Man United match. I was greeted by their friendly reception team (didn’t get all of their names but one of them was called Michael Owen) who allowed me to leave my car in the parking lot (ample space) as I had arrived a few hours earlier than check-in time, super convenient and it cost £5 for 24 hours. Room was comfortable and clean, heating and air conditioning worked perfectly. Very close proximity to Trafford Centre Shopping Mall (8 mins walk) and the tram station is a 3 mins walk which could take you to Old Trafford Stadium and also Manchester City Centre within a few minutes. Tram is every 15 minutes. Uber is reliable in the area too. I would definitely choose this hotel if I were to drive up to Manchester again.

To be honest this is really petty but the toilet bin was broken. they should have just binned it 🤣 it was my second time staying with them and it’s always busy at breakfast + hash browns were dry and over cooked, jam/nutella were not topped up. But I’m not too fussed about having breakfast as there are lots of food options in the mall/city centre.

On arrival welcomed by staff with a smile on her face. Think she was called Chantell. Everything was explained thoroughly even had a laugh and a joke made to feel important, valued and made at home. Everywhere clean and tidy. On returning from our evening out again very polite and helpful bar staff, nothing too much trouble always smiling. Great night sleep in a comfortable clean bed, room temperature just right. Breakfast was gorgeous, everything you wanted all hot and very tasty with lots of choice, again the breakfast staff really polite helpful. Checkout was easy and Susan was lovely. Will definitely use this hotel again. Thank you to all the staff

Couldn’t find fault it was ideal for what we wanted.

Clean modern hotel with perfect location, so close to Trafford Centre and many other amenities. Staff are incredible, and they go out of their way to make your stay as comfortable as possible! We were there to celebrate my daughters 10th birthday, staff members had signed a birthday card with a gift and left it in our room! How amazing and thoughtful. My daughter was over the moon! Thank you so much for your kindness and for making our stay unforgettable! ❤️

Nothing, incredible stay cannot fault it.

On arrival our room wasn’t suitable and we were swapped to a different room. This was dealt with well, nothing was too much trouble and the gentleman who swapped our room apologised and gave us two drinks vouchers as an apology, so thank you!!!!. Further into our stay we went for some snacks and a drink in the restaurant area. A gentleman called Kai who was working on the bar served us our drinks. We watched him clean every single table possibly 20+ and he wiped down the bar on his own whilst three other staff stood chatting at reception doing nothing. Kai literally went above and beyond to keep the reception area/restaurant area spotless. An absolute grafter and whilst we thought all the staff were great he was an absolute exception. Just needed to say what a fab worker he was.

We were happy once moved rooms, but the smell of cannabis in the first room was horrendous. We then came back at 4am to the reception area stinking as well. Someone had been smoking outside but had I had my kids there I’d of probably moved hotels for the night.

The location to the Trafford Centre and Trams was very convenient. The hotel was clean and the staff, all but one, were very friendly and helpful.

There was one staff member, and I didn't get her name. She was older, short with blonde hair, who we found to be unhelpful and rude. We asked for help for something, and she brushed us off and said just a minute but never came back. When we returned later that evening, she was on reception with another staff member. The guy she was working with greeted us and was very pleasant. She, on the other hand, didn't even acknowledge us. I feel she is not happy in her job

Location was perfect, 2 minute walk to get to shopping centre. So easy to get the tram or an Uber to another location (fairly cheap too!). Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was amazing!!!! Great cooked breakfast and the croissants were fantastic! The room was spacious, telly worked fine, bathroom was lovely.

Not a fan of paying for hotel parking if we have paid to stay in the hotel itself. The room was incredibly hot all the time. Changed the settings etc but not much difference so turned it off completely. Doesn’t help that the room had no window to open.

Booked a Saturday-Monday with family The location for what I needed was superb as soon as I arrived I was met with such professional kind hospitality the staff were helpful with everything it was a great experience all round I would use it again. The shower was amazing I really liked the choice of shower gel and hand soap they have already in the hotel , along with tea and coffee equipment in the room it’s just what you need. the beds were comfortable and the AC was easy to work and adjust my eldest slept on the pullout sofa bed they said it wasn’t too great but for a short stay it was fine. Breakfast had choices and was easy to navigate.

I thought everything was great maybe the space between bed and walking was little small but that’s only because I’m ever so clumsy and kept tripping up oh and my personal thought was I didn’t think the window was big enough I like a lot of natural light but that’s just me. The lighting in the room made up for more of it.

We expected the rooms to be close together, but the staff gave us a connecting room, which was brilliant. One of the rooms is even bigger so we can stay comfortably with 3 children and 2 dogs also.

Booking.com states that it is a pet friendly hotel with parking. When we booked, it didn't mention about extra costs on £5 parking and £20 per dog. So when we got there, we were surprised that we had to pay £45 extra given that I am a member of the IHG club already. The staff said no discount for IHG member.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The parking is good and secure. Location is good for Trafford centre and old Trafford. Simple hotel that had what’s needed

Dirty room, not cleaned well, they did clean it again for us when requested. But things were stained. Shower was still dirty. For the amount it cost per night it wasn’t really acceptable, I’m surprised they were so relaxed about it. Beds are small and quite hard, not usually too bothered for one night stay but didn’t make it restful.

The room was very comfortable the bathroom was more than adequate there was no outside noise with a busy road and tram service outside the window. Free Wi-Fi was a bonus some are still charging? The car park was great to just park my car and use public transport especially in the city, shame we still had to pay £3.00 a night though (it could have been absorbed into the room rate without really noticing) The breakfast was good but I would have preferred a choice of eggs fried or poached. All in all I will be using IHG again
