I work in manchester during the week so i've used the guest house number of times of over the last 6 months, the staff are hospitable the rooms are cosy with shared bath rooms cleaned daily and the location is a 5 minute uber or tram into town. alot of the feedback im noticing is in relation to the old ownership i've noticed over the last few visits lots of changes and the management have always gone out there way to make my stay and experience as good as you'd expect for the price your paying. i'd argue of late they've actually exceeded my already high expectation. Location, the Wifi, the receptionaist were good. As I worked hard at the property where I went to workl, I slept deep, so I did not notice or hear any noise, if there was some. I booked the room again between 4 to 6 March to stay two nights.

WC and shower room can be better maintained. Cleanliness of the bed sheets are quaestionable.! There stains. Total cleanliness of the pillow covers and bed sheets both are critical. Floor also can be in a better cleaning state. The noise from slammed doors

Ive booked this guest house a few times for people in need and all.i can say is they are lovely welcoming people with clean rooms for everyone staying. Its not the ritz but thats not what your booking, your booking a comfortable nites stay with good staff. Its value for money and helps alot of people. Wish there was more places like this about where people feel safe and not stereotyped .... The best place for this price point 👉

We recently stayed at Queens Guesthouse and had a great experience. The new management were very helpful and attentive—when we had a slight issue with a plug socket, it was sorted out straight away without any hassle. The room was clean and well-kept, and overall, the stay offered great value for money. Would definitely recommend!

It's a house with multiple occupants. We brought and made our own breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Dorothy (housekeeper at Bankwell Guesthouse) was superb. She was friendly, attentive and ensured that the Guesthouse was clean and tidy each day. She added to my experience...

I was moved to Bankwell Guesthouse as I booked for a kitchen. Queens Guesthouse didn't have a kitchen as advertised....

Owner was great, greeted us at 4pm, left his number in case of any issues. Had only opened that day to the public so think the previous bad reviews were aimed at previous owners. Room was clean and beds looked new. Price was really good too.

Mattresses were a bit uncomfortable, but that's down to self preference I suppose.

Fantastic value for money. The room was basic but it was clean, quiet, with plenty of space, and the staff were wonderfully friendly. I stayed with my 19 year old and we felt safe and well looked after. There was tea, coffee etc and a shop in reception for the essentials. The location is great - it's a 2 minute walk from the bus stop with regular buses going in and out of the city centre. We got the 135 and the 41. I would be happy to stay here again.

You get what you pay for. The room was a bit shabby and could do with modernisation. But for the money it was fine.

Nice old building with nice outdoor areas to sit in, the room was a decent size, clean and comfortable. The main road is 100 yards or so away so very well located. Town is a good 40 minutes walk but it's all on the main road and easy enough as it's all flat. If you're not much of a walker, there are plenty of buses in. The Manchester Jewish Museum is 10 minutes' walk towards town, and if you go the other direction up Cheetham Hill Road, there are plenty of food places and shops within a 5-minute walk.

Nothing serious, but it is a budget option so don't be expecting a palace! The shower doors didn't close properly, and there seemed to be a small leak in the bathroom, but overall we were very happy and had everything we needed

Just everything about this hotel is first class. Real value for money. From the beautiful plant and pot that greets you in the reception to the amazingly spacious rooms.

Whats there not to like it ticked every box. I would recommend ' quens' to everyone.
