The accommodation was clean and tidy, and had everything we needed for a short break. The location was great for the train station which we could see from the window and the local scenery was beautiful. The staff, although not present on site, were easily contactable and went out of their way to help us as we had a family emergency while staying on site.

The accommodation was abit tired in places, and there wasn't a shop on site or local convenience store within walking distance (with 2 small children).

The Lodge has a good size and it is quite comfortable for 4 people. It has some outdoor furniture and lovely views. It was good to be able to bring our dog..

Everything was lovely, apart from many unexpected mosquitos and the slow internet connection. I would definitely recommend anyone staying to bring some mosquito repellent. We couldn't sleep with so many mosquitos buzzing and biting us. When trying to watch a movie, the internet connection kept breaking up.

The location was lovely and the station was beautifully kept. A stones throw from the cottage was a small woodland which was great for dog walking. The views over the hills were stunning. The accommodation well presented and equipped. Comfy bed and great walk in shower. Great location to explore local villages and towns too.

Just beginning to need a little freshen up, eg. Fresh paint, dishwasher service. All very minor :-)

Very quiet and peaceful location. Beautiful setting with the trainline and running steam traisn going by daily. Staff were attentive and moved us when we had a little issue in the first cottage

There was a very annoying noise with the water pressure, possibly air trapped in the pipes, we were woken up through the night with the kitchen tap switching itself on. Whenever we used the upstairs toilet or shower the taps in the kitchen would switch on so we had to leave these running while using the facilities. Then half way through the trip we used the dishwasher for the first time and it flooded the kitchen. We called site to advise and they moved us to new cottage which was lovely of them.

The location was fabulous, just a moment away from the platform at Ropley (and the miniature railway!). The facilities in the accommodation were great - from the Utility Room to the kitchen! The rooms were an excellent size, perfect for a short or long break. We will be back!

A couple of minor issues with the shower and a sofa pillow, but very tiny issues - I've only mentioned them because this review asks for negatives too! Everything was fabulous - highly recommended!

Location was very good and easy to find. Clean tidy and generally good facilities.

Outside lights were faulty and made it difficult to follow the path to 'Medstead'. The steps were staff only but improving these would make access to some of the lodges much easier. In the lodge the bedside wall lights are very difficult to find in the dark and a bedside lamp would be better. An en-suite for one of the rooms would be useful, but recognise this is a major re-vamp

Accommodation was perfect for us and down stairs was spacious for 2 dogs. Plenty of natural light, lovely and warm. Beautiful views from every window. Very dog friendly. Kitchen had everything we needed. In an amazing location too., close to Winchester for Christmas markets and plenty of dog walks . Communication was great with the host.

Fantastic location next to the beautiful Watercress Line. The rooms were clean and spacious, lots of storage facilities with a fully furnished kitchen. Everything you need for a home away from home. The children loved it and can't wait to come back!

Location was great. right next to the heritage railway line , loved watching the steam trains. All mod coms,, small amount of tea, coffee etc provided for arrival plus a bottle of fizz and some biscuits. would come back again.

would have liked a mirror and clothes rail in the twin room. also prvious occupants left lots of cigarette buts all round the outside and even an empty packet on the bbq, did not inspire us to use it.

Great location right next to the Watercress line The accommodation was very clean although looking slightly tired in places. Overall it was difficult to fault the accommodation and had a very well equipped kitchen. The accommodation was very spacious throughout.

There isn't enough parking for the accommodation available and the small car park provided was always full especially during the day. There seemed to be a lot of contractors vans parking there which meant that anyone staying in the cottages had nowhere to park so had to park some distance away.
