I love the location and how accessible it was to local amenities. All staff were brilliant but especially Aliston and Khadeja (apologies if spelling wrong), both were first class in terms of customer care and went above and beyond to help me with changing to a more suitable room. There was also a very helpful Asian gentleman working in the bar (sorry i didn't get his name) and tho it was the end of his shift and late at night, he carried some bottles of water to my room for me that my daughter desperately needed due to her high glucose levels and she needed it to be cold. I am sure that gentleman just wanted to finish his shift but he was super helpful to me as I was unable to carry the bottles myself.

The hotel does not have a lift and as my mobility has worsened in recent years, I really struggled with moving around the hotel. I should have mentioned that I needed a ground floor room like I did last year so it's not a complaint per se. It would be lovely if the rooms had a small fridge to keep our drinks cool.

The warm, friendly welcome. The room was lovely, and the air conditioning was spot on. It was nice that the TV could be played at a reasonable volume, especially as we are both hearing impaired. Everywhere was clean and tidy, and the staff were all nice and friendly. Breakfast was lovely, cooked well, and presented lovely. Thanks to all. 👌👌

Your points system. I signed up to the points system whilst we were staying at your establishment. On checking out, I was informed that I couldn't have any points as I needed to put a membership number in on booking. I booked online, and at no time was I asked for such a number. Your key wallet, where I got the signing up details, also doesn't mention that the points are awarded at booking. I felt cheated out of these points. Your staff should have the facility to add points at checkout, especially for new customers. Thank you.

Staff were very friendly and accommodating, I arrived far earlier than expected and had concerns that I would not be able to check in, the person at reception was able to find a suitable room for me. When I arrived I ordered a coffee in the restaurant, the coffee machine wasn't working at the time for a cappuccino, the person at the bar still brought me a coffee, whilst I paid for this, she didn't forget and when I was waiting for a taxi she brought me a cappuccino at no extra cost. It was nice that on my first day, a lady from housekeeping came to check that everything was okay with the room.

There was a lot of noise from people in the corridor late at night, it stopped shortly after 23:00 so wasn't too much of an inconvenience. The toilet seat wasn't fully secured, I would have spoken with reception about it, but as it didn't really cause much of an inconvenience there was no need. It would be nice to have a fridge in the room, with bottled water available.

The property was in good condition. It was clean tidy and the bathroom was excellent. The only issue that I found was that there’s a slight noise disturbance at night times. I just have people on the same floor. You may hear people talking from their rooms, but overall the stay was excellent. They have a bar which is very good And they’ve also got other facility that you can use . Staff are very professional and make you feel welcome. You will have to pay £5 Parking if you book through Booking.com.

The only thing I didn’t like about the room was the door kept on squeaking and makes a loud banging noise when it was shutting which can disturb you when you’re sleeping. If the noise from the other door will slam every time they leave . but this is definitely a four star hotel And overall I have nothing negative to say it’s in a good location also but just small things as maybe the door closed needs to be fixed to stop it slamming

"The condition of the room was excellent, and I had no complaints regarding the accommodation itself. However, my experience with the staff was less than ideal. When I checked in at 1 PM, I asked the receptionist if it would be possible to check if the room was available early. She told me it wasn’t, which I completely understood. However, her response was somewhat cold and unhelpful, and I noticed another customer in the same situation received the same tone. On the positive side, the level of professionalism was much improved when I checked out at 5:30 AM. The gentleman at the front desk was exceptional. He genuinely inquired about my stay and whether I was satisfied. I thanked him, though I’m unsure of his name. Despite the initial interaction, I do consider this one of my favorite hotels and will certainly be using them again in the future.

Some of the staff seemed to adopt a distant or unapproachable attitude, and at times, were not particularly helpful

Staff were great. Very friendly and accommodating. Room was one that was refurbished. Although it was a twin, it was OK. Bed was comfortable. Big TV to watch our own YouTube videos on as you can pair up with your phone. Pretty quiet as well, which made a nice change. This was Room 180. Clean everywhere in room. Loved the bathroom. Breakfast was well stocked, including potato rings instead of hash browns and broccoli. Never seen that before. Loved the decor and layout of the public areas.

Bit awkward to find but OK. Parking was at the rear of the hotel but OK. Room was a twin instead of a double but OK. Evenings may be busy with work people needing a bed for the night, so parking was a problem and restaurant was busy. Breakfast was OK but we chose a wonky table so had to be careful not to disturb it. Short flush for our toilet in the room didn't work.

Room was clean and spacious, had plenty of electrical plugs. Beds were comfortable, the hotel itself was clean and quiet. Location in Reading was not perfect, it was a bit on the outskirts but great for little trips around the country-side or even to visit London. The plus was that there were many stores and restaurants around to grab something to eat. Another plus was a small but nice gym, where we could start our active day.

Nothing really, maybe just the location being farther out of town than I would imagine (but easy access to the motorway).

Approach from Parking to main door of hotel was restricted by taxis parking in the "No parking" area, restricting access

Good location for what we needed - close to J11. Hotel is a good size. Initially we thought the car park was small and very crowded but we found the big car park the back. It did mean quite a walk to get to the front door but we were relieved that there was plenty of parking. Rooms are cleaned every day and a good size. Restaurant was friendly and quite busy with business travellers (not a surprise given location close to reading). Good selection on the menu.

It is a good quality hotel. Only thing would be to have better signage to the big car park at the back (turn left as soon as you go into car park), and perhaps have an entrance at the back rather than having to walk around to the front (perhaps it did but we couldn’t see anything in the dark).

I have an excellent overall experience. I booked a room using their service to celebrate my birthday. My first contact was Sami. She made the whole process less stressful; which is what I wanted. She was attentive to the details, friendly, and professional. On the event day, I was overwhelmed with joy when I saw the hall. It was well organized and the staff were all helpful. The food was delicious and well-presented. All of my guests love the food. I had to compliment the chef because it was more than I expected. My guest and I did not have to pay extra for parking and the parking space is secure. We slept well and appreciated the drink in the fridge! Thank you!
