Very clean. Well looked after. Friendly staff. Receptionist was amazing. Very efficient. Room was very modern and clean. Very comfy bed. Powerful shower. Very hot water. Modern and exceptionally clean bathroom. Good facilities with a fridge, kettle etc and excellent hanging space for clothes.

Room was a tad small for the size of the bed or the bed was too big for the room being a super king. Made it a little tight around the bed. Lighting in the room as very dim. Needs brightening up. Room was very warm indeed. Equipped with a Dyson fan which was a nice touch but not very effective. Felt very stuffy. The windows were open wide but overlooking the beer garden it was difficult to have the curtains open for air circulation with the noise from the beer garden.

Wow! Stayed in suite, could not fault. Very tasteful, everything you could want - even great fans in each room..Makeup area in each bedroom, great mirrors, great lighting, comfortable beds. Everything was sparkling and clean. Be warned tho- getting taxis is an issue, we'd gone to open air theatre and it was an onerous task finding taxis back. My advice book local, book in advance - before finalising your trip, as it's too far out to walk. Restaurant ok, nothing great here - filled a hole..tbh food could be better but accommodation is brilliant.

Location - o my because of jack of taxi services & bus was hit and miss to get into Scarborough. Used Uber to go to open air theatre & driver advised Uber don't usually cover Scarborough, local taxi services also couldn't help. Return journey nightmare as local taxis unreliable- so be aware & organise in advance.

Very friendly staff, who gave us a warm welcome when we checked in. Room was ready a little earlier which was a bonus. Room was absolutely perfect for our overnight stay, modern, clean, plenty of storage space, great shower. Just what we'd expect for the price.

Self service options could have been a higher standard in our opinion, the ceral, full fat milk, a few yogurts and over sweet juice was on offer during our stay. It would have been nicer to see additional mini croissants, fresh fruit and better quality fruit juice, with the option of semi skimmed milk as replacements or as well as (But this is our personal choice and we understand the cost implications of keeping it simple). Full English was good and as breakfast was priced as an additional £10 per head, with tea or coffee thrown in, it was all round good value for money, so thank you.

It was spotlessly clean, the whole place from the bar to the restaurant and especially the rooms. They were modern, fresh, smelt lovely and the room was immaculate. The place has so much to offer from parties, carvery, family area with kids play area to allow them to have their fun. This allowed families to be together and other groups to have their space too. I liked the consideration to all groups.

This is just constructive criticism rather than not liking anything. A shelf or area to hold your shower toiletries would be great. My mum would have liked a chair in the room to sit on rather than a stool. I appreciate however the design of the room may not have accommodated a proper chair.

Room was clean, with coffee/tea making facilities, fan, and USB charging, secure car parking at rear. Food reasonably priced and prompt service. I had to check out early but the staff were very helpful and emailed my invoice which saved me having to wait for reception staff to arrive.

Free Public Wifi service was slow and sporadic in connection. Would be better if the Hotel had a dedicated WIFI connection. The public network frequent struggled to perform simple tasks like simple web browsing and the sending and receipt of emails.

The room was very comfortable. I loved the hanging space, fridge, fan, tea and coffee facilities and how clean it was. It felt very safe and cosy for me and my son. He really loved the room and found it a real treat.

Unfortunately the receptionist wasn't overly forthcoming with information or welcoming when we arrived and forgot to mention about booking breakfast. I asked the next day but she seemed very perturbed and put out that I was bothering her and hadn't booked it. I just felt that could have been a little more welcoming.

Almost everything. The room were roomy, the facilities excellent, the staff and location spot on. My room was not ventilated very well prior to my stay so fans were just circulating hot air. Once the day cooled off and a member of the reception team helped me to open the heavy sash window, that improved.

As above everything and all the extra little details that turned the stay from good to excellent. The bath mat having its own case, the decor, the TV and channel selections and of course the fridge.

We came for a wedding reception and didn't have high expectations for the room based on a previous hotel stay in London (We came from London after being at Disneyland), so when we walked in and actually saw the room we were beyond impressed. The size is quite decent, a fridge, a lovely bathroom with a nice shower and not to mention a large comfortable bed with WARM sheets. I would recommend staying here. The food was incredible as well. A lovely little place

Music was a bit loud in the room from downstairs (understandable though! So not a complaint), view from the window wasn't impressive either. That's it though really, I don't have anything negative to say

The room was really nice and the pub was lovely with the local in it too was nice and friendly and staff too

Fire alarm woke me up yesterday morning at 7.45 am on Sunday 20_7_2025 It was a false alarm as I went to see if it was that we needed to evaluate the building but said it was a false alarm I should of had an x-ray hour instead of checking out at 10 am or give me a choice of some breakfast to apologise too or knocked a bit of money off from my stay at least too .

The room was decorated very nice. Modern and clean. Nice sized shower room and complimentary toiletries. Dyson Fan in the room was useful as there is no air conditioning. Staff were really friendly and helpful.

The shower could’ve been better - when it was hot, it was REALLY hot, and when the temperature was turned down, it was FREEZING! Not very powerful either. The property is a pub/restaurant with rooms above. There was a strong food smell when entering the ‘hotel bit’ of the property, and we could also smell it in the room we were in. It’s not a bad smell, and it didn’t really affect our stay, but some people could object.
