The staff are all very friendly and most helpful, all lead by the lovely Lesley. First class restaurant serving an excellent selection of food from the kitchen, my wife and I took breakfast and dinner. A good wine list. Lovely room with most comfortable bed. Alexa I could do without, especially when I asked her to switch television on she replied, I don't understand the question. Very large car park Loved being so close to Dartmoor National Park and the A38 Devon Expressway, less than 30 minutes into Exeter or Plymouth..

We could find nothing to dislike in this charming establishment however I would mention that we did not see any ' Todays Specials " boards around the restaurant/bar area, then this a hotel not a pub.

My partner and I stayed at The Turtley Corn Mill last weekend and we had a really great time. The staff were friendly on arrival and were very helpful. Our room had a large very comfy bed, a spacious ensuite bathroom, tea making facilities, a television and Alexa speaker. We had a meal booked in the Restaurant and the food was absolutely fantastic (we booked to eat there the second night based on the quality of the food and good service). The next morning there was a choice of various breakfast options including a traditional breakfast, smoked salmon and smashed avocado and various hot and cold drinks. The grounds are picturesque and there are several benches to sit aside the lake by. We would definitely recommend it as a place to stay and dine and we are hoping to return in the future.

Wonderful place, great staff, clean throughout, excellent breakfast, very good food, cozy and comfortable rooms. Prices are a bit high, but you must pay the right price for the best quality services and my opinion is that it worth every penny. Highly recommend ! The property is NON SMOKING throughout, 🚭, but smokers, don't worry, there's a designated place to enjoy your vice 😉 in peace ....😄

Nice room with spacious en-suite toilet and shower with lovely hot water. Bed especially comfortable. Good location with nice grounds and outside spaces. Hotel was easy to find. Plenty of parking. Its close to the A38, but I didn't find the road noise too intrusive. Menu a little expensive but top quality food. Staff so polite and helpful.

My room was above the bar area and a particularly noisy group were talking and laughing until 22:30ish as the bar started to close. Probably not an issue for most guests, but I tried to turn in at 21:00 as I was getting up at 04:00.

A beautifully restored watermill in lovely surroundings, tastefully decorated rooms etc in keeping with age of property ! Loved the wild fowl especially the wonderful peacocks roaming around ! The staff were friendly and nothing was too much trouble, the food including breakfast was excellent, there was plenty of onsite parking available and not too far off the beaten track to get to surrounding attractions etc! Will return !

The place is a real gem - the room was super comfy and particularly well equipped while being both modern and well designed. The lounge and restaurant were the same - very comfy, using the old style of the building while providing some modern qirks. All in all the place is really beautiful and it was a pleasure to stay there.

Getting to the hotel on foot coming from South Brent is horrible. There are no separate footpaths leading to the place and we had to walk a fair bit on the road ("Landstraße") to get there. Another thing was that there were signs everywhere telling you what to do and what not to do. It seemed a little too much to us, but on the other hand every sign has its story...

Breakfast was excellent, staff were polite and extremely helpful. King bed was a welcome sight, the en-suite is large, the room comes with pretty much everything you need for a comfortable stay A beautiful place to stay inside and out.

With summers getting warmers an a/c unit in the rooms would be a wonderful addition. Our room was stiflingly hot, with only a small oscillating fan to help with air movement.

This hotel is amazing. I wasn't going to get there until after 20:30 so they called me to see if I wanted to order dinner as the kitchen closes at 20:30 (what great customer service). The staff, food, setting, room, bed, everything was amazing. All the small details were covered, even a proper mug in the room and Alexa. I didn't have time for breakfast, so they made me toast and jam to go. I will certainly be back.

This is nit picking as I loved this place, would have enjoyed a long mirror in the room as I had to get ready for work.

Beautiful country-chic pub, with a heavenly garden, roaming peacocks and fluffy hens. The food is first class with local sourced products. We spent the night and the room was lovely, nicely decorated and spacious. Last but not least, the staff and the owner went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. This place is a little piece of heaven on Earth. We will certainly visit it again.

Amazing and extremely friendly staff. Everything was perfect. The room was lovely and the setting was fab. The food both at breakfast and dinner was exceptional. Nothing more to add, wonderful stay. Location was lovely, garden was beautiful and the people helpful, knowledgeable and attentive.
