The first and best part of staying at the Lux Verde Hotel was being greeted by Edward at the front desk. He was perfectly professional, but also warm, personable and endlessly helpful. He made our stay feel like home, and i enjoyed chatting with him every chance i got. The staff that i had less interactions with were also all so kind and helpful. The spirit of the Lux Verde is definitely the staff. Thank you, Edward and everyone else, too :)

In the listing on Booking.com, it included the pool as an amenity, but the pool was closed for the season, and was scheduled to open a few days after our stay ended. The idea of swimming contributed to us picking the Lux Verde, so it was disappointing to find out it was closed. The hot tub was open though. Nevertheless we were happy we chose to stay here because of the friendly staff, the continental breakfast, the cleanliness of the entire property and the value of the Lux Verde.

Room was good sized. We liked the bed, bedding, towels and soap dispenser. It was also great to have a refrigerator (larger than most) and microwave as well as coffee pot in the room. Breakfast was great and included your waffles plus eggs, sausage, juice, fruit and toast/bagels. Location was close to most services plus old town Cottonwood. We traveled to Jerome, Prescott and Sedona plus other surrounding areas and the hotel was very centrally located to all of these. The location of the hotel also gave us a good view of the surrounding area and some nice sunrises and sunsets.

Sofa in the room was low to the ground and cushions sunk so it wasn't too comfortable. Otherwise the room was very nice and clean.

Breakfast was very good, Location is great with a beautiful view, everything was absolutely clean. The staff was very nice and friendly. The Italian restaurant in the hotel is absolutely amazing.

The bed mattress was very uncomfortable so are the pillows. The refrigerator in the room was pretty loud. And we forgot a Kindle device in the room but when I called about it I was told that nothing was found by the cleaners which I know was not correct but I have to take that hit because how to proof it!?

We stayed here twice, spending the time between our stays in another city. There are two accommodation buildings, with the reception and breakfast room in a third. Our first stay was further away and there was quite a walk to the first building. The second was closer. The weather was excellent when we were there but the walks back to our room were uphill, not always easy after breakfast! The walk in shower was welcome after all the climbing into a bath that showers so often entail. The shower and toilet were in one room and the wash basin separate, which is common in some accommodation. The breakfast room lady was very pleasant and helpful. There is plenty of parking. The accommodation is in an area with a lot of medical facilities.

The hot breakfast was very predictable, being the same every day.

It was close to everything we wanted to see. The room was larger than average and we liked having the couch, small refrigerator and freezer and microwave. It was pet friendly which was a plus and they offered a free decent breakfast.

These are small but important to me : towels need to be replaced. All had raggedy edges and seemed well used. I am glad they had a nice pet relief area but the garbage can for disposal was not changed since I arrived and left 3 days later. Still there. I told the front desk - it really smelled up the area. No room for more doggy mess disposal. The other garbage cans were cleaned around the hotel.

The pool was freezing , lots of stuff floating in the water and no skimmer to clean it. The bed was lopsided , needs new mattress . The bathroom floor was not mopped the five days we stayed . The poorly weee so nice , the continental breakfast was above what most are was very clean and organized. The Italian restaurant on the property was delicious. The staff were amazing.

At 70 years of age this is the nicest hotel and best experience we have ever had at a hotel. Staff was perfect. We had zero issues. Nice refrigerator and microwave.

The only and its minor is that the sofa in the room was very uncomfortable. It was a sleeper sofa so they’re not the best for sitting anyway. Shower curtain could have been a little longer as it kept coming out of the surround getting water on the floor. We just sacrificed a room towel along the shower lip to absorb escaping water. However neither of these issues detracted from this hotel at all.

My sister and I were surprised at the quality of the breakfast, all the food was fresh that was brought out and hot, the breakfast bar was continuously restocked, and nothing was ever out of stock. The sweetest woman was working there, and her personality was one of the finest that you could imagine, she was conscientious about her job, and making certain that everything was clean, tidy, and that everyone had what they needed. The last person that came to breakfast had the same options to food as the first person who was there. We can’t say enough good about how this area was run and maintained.

The only thing that I had a problem with was the distance of the rooms to the main lobby. During the winter and the short nights and dark mornings, I was a little unnerved at walking through the parking lot in the darkness.

The staff was very nice and helpful. The bed was big and very comfortable. Generally the room was spacious and had everything what we needed. The location is alright. It depends what you’re wanna do. Sedona is about 20-30 min ride by car. We also visited Jerome which is only 15 min. Both was very nice.

The breakfast was not the best. No vegetables and only some fruits. Also, everything was in plastic (cutlery, cups, butter, jam etc.). But maybe I am just used to European Breakfast buffet. The waffles and orange juice were good tho!

Bed was comfortable. Front Desk Tiffany was the best , kindest clerk we ever met. Betty or Beth is the 2nd best. Becky in kitchen help was incredible helping elderly breakfast happenings. Your staff was incredible!

Hot tub not warm and found out it was broken. Pool not clean. Leaves n stuff everywhere but I wanted a refreshing time so jumped in. One of the main reasons we didn't mind paying the price, both were down moments. Couch was not comfortable. Coffee in room bad compared to breakfast coffee?
