Building has a very classic bay-area charm. The rates are fantastic and the staff really cares about making your stay a great experience. Rooms are clean and private, which is atypical at this price point. Great value and great people, I will stay here whenever traveling alone to the Bay Area!

The room itself was very nice honestly better than I expected! it had two restrooms and the tv was great. the beds were comfy and it was pretty clean a man also came and offered to double check the cleanliness of the room.

The location was very sketchy and there were some people (harmless really) who just loitered as well as a large homeless population and we saw some drug use right outside the actual hotel.

Very hot shower water. Front desk will regularly provide clean towels. Everything appeared clean and sanitized when I first arrived. The different rooms I have stayed in have all had black out curtains, which is nice if needing to sleep during the day, due to needing to do work, or other scheduled events during the night. There's always fresh, hot, self-service coffee in the mornings. Flat screen TV w/remote, microwave, and mini fridge w/ freezer have all always worked fine upon arrival. Front desk will provide trash bags for room, cleaning supplies, toilet paper, etc. upon asking. Have never had any problem getting help if needed.

No air conditioning, but windows open well.

You get exactly what you need for the price! Stayed over a 3 1/2 days Labor Day weekend and it was only $300+. Used our money on amazing adventures all around San Francisco! Cute coffee shops, beaches, piers and amazing restaurants, tours and Ubers.

Wasn’t in the best of neighborhoods and occasionally heard people yelling that and the walls are very thin. haha other than that it was perfect because we were only there to sleep, shower and go back out.

They use regular keys, for some reason I love that. Low-key, easy-going desk guys. The other guests are really respectful and very quiet.the room was old, but clean. elevator always works.i have started using my own sheets, pillows/pillowcases,and towels in all hotels that's a personal preference. bathrooms are shared, although they have private bathroom rooms...

It is so loud ALL NIGHT in the alley below the window; AND because of poor planning on sf's part frigging really loud jackhammers start at 8am. in Bad neighborhood ,(I had zero issues, but Joe public won't like it). There is a steep set of stairs just to the check in area, no elevator (there is one from there) hard to lug if you have any heavy stuff.

The location wasn't in a good area, but had no problem with anyone.

Didn't have towels. Had homeless people sleeping and partying outside our room door.

Well I discovered that this neighborhood is close to 1,000 things. And the city of San Francisco is improving everything. The transition is amazing. It is one mile or less to everything! Finally, I love to walk and this area is rare - it is flat. Nice.

Well is can be a little loud from 8 to midnight. Nothing else was bad and the employees were super.
