We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The value for money was excellent. I was traveling with a young child, and while we were initially shocked by the number of homeless people when we arrived late at night, this is not the hotel's fault. The hotel itself was very clean and centrally located. In the morning, the city looks entirely different, and everything feels close and accessible, with major attractions just a short distance away."

We really missed a kettle in the kitchen to make tea

Given the circumstances of the neighborhood the hotel is in, the hotel staff does a really good job cleaning and are very friendly. The cost performance was good in my opinion.

The neighborhood is definitely sketchy. But that is obviously not the owners' fault but people should be aware that they are getting what they are paying for.

- the location was nice: next to the main Market Street - the room had great facilities (enough sockets, sink, TV, chairs and tables) - the receptionist was super nice: not being familiar with the public transport, he took the time to help me navigate all the tricks and helped organize a visiting route for just 1 day; big kudos to him; -very responsive on Booking messaging ( since I arrived in the evening, I was afraid there will be delays in the plane arrival so since the reception closes at 10 pm I thought that this would mean loosing my reserved spot. But through messages through Booking, the receptionist assured me that keeping them posted it about my arrival even after 10 pm, would be fine) - very nice old type of elevator (like in movies like The Maltese Falcon)

Absolutely perfect for a solo traveler. The value is fantastic! This place is like a very comfortable hostel (private rooms, clean shared bathrooms which are almost always available).

Beds are extremely firm/uncomfortable. $30 fee for arrival after 10pm. Although this is very clearly stated, it seems a bit steep given that many people get into town late. The hotel is located in an area with a ton of transient people.

There are a huge number of homeless people around, but this is an issue for the city authorities, not the hotel.

The hotel is clean, the staff was polite, and it is according to the money you paid. It is close to the BART station, and it is central.

The location is super central, but the neighborhood is full of homeless and people consuming drugs. It is kind of an issue that San Francisco suffers in many different areas.

The room shared bathroom and shower..it was clean and smelled nice. They have a common room with a couple of microwaves , toaster oven , and a sink...they have washers a dryers too. The room cost 49 dollars for the night . Great price..

The area around market st. Can be rough, but if you are aware of this it's ok...the hotel does have 24 hour security.

It is central to everything you may want or need to do , transit options right outside the doors. The staff was amazing I honestly didn’t expect to be accommodated so well . There’s a little donut/coffee shop which is run by a family right next door so it was convenient for coffee/breakfast option even tho the hotel offers kitchen access. Rooms were so clean and safety factors were definitely a plus

Only thing was a lot of homeless activity around , however the hotel security was perfect since your room key opens the hotel doors downstairs

The staff are AMAZING. Everyone was kind and helpful. I loved the proximity to night life and cultural districts. Public transit was abundant in the area and we were able to reach any place we needed to go. This is one of the cleanest and comfiest hostels I’ve stayed at.

Rooms are spacious for the price point, with clean bedding and basic amenities (free Wi-Fi, cable TV)

The immediate area has a high concentration of unhoused individuals and visible drug activity. It can feel unsafe after dark—best to avoid walking alone outside the hotel at night.
