Classic old San Francisco lodgings, remodeled and super clean. This hotel is unique and not a cookie cutter of the large chains. Lovely, helpful staff. Reasonable parking. Not sure why we spent $5 more for our SUV but seriously the parking prices are great. We walked to Oracle Park and we walked to the Golden Gate Theater. We ate at 7 Mission an authentic (not fancy) terrific Chinese restaurant next door. If you want something more "fancy" and expensive try 54 Mint, but book reservations!. The morning coffee was fine and we liked the selection of pastries but for the room price you could eat breakfast at the Ritz and still be ahead. To put this into perspective- 7 blocks away event parking for the Giants games cost $50 for the game, we paid $30 for 24 hours. Our $15 lyft ride dropped us in the financial district, and we walked home at night from a show at the Golden Gate Theater. Hôtel Fiona Parking includes in and out privileges Lovely staff, and safe location.

It's not the property- it's a great property ans the room was quiet because of new windows and a. Great room HVAC. Some of the Older SF hotels don't have AC. So - here's my didn't like. It's a safe but transitional neighborhood. Working class and industrial. Not the financial district ambiance but not their prices either.

Room was spacious and clean. House keeping was everyday and they were very good. Staff were on hand at all times. There were pasteries and coffee available in the foyer.

Nothing the hotel can do about this, but there were lots of homeless people around, particularly around Mission Street and Market Street. They were no toruble and they never approached me, but it was a little off-putting. There were police and security on the streets.

The room was so wide and clean, with everything renovated and comfortable, the staff at the reception desk were all cooperative and helpful throughout the day. You feel at home. Bathroom was so clean and renovated

The only drawback of the place is the location where homeless and drug abusers are everywhere, however they’re sitting everywhere in San Francisco, and the hotel has a security guard in front of its door 24 hours.

I thought Hotel Fiona was an excellent value. It's not a charming walking neighborhood or anything, but is convenient for getting to the freeway and downtown if you are driving. The parking was an extra fee but pretty easy to use -- after hours the front desk person will come out and open the gate. The front desk staff were consistently attentive and helpful. Our room was huge and very clean, and the bed comfortable.

Pool was across the street at another hotel, so didn't feel convenient to use.

Clean, remodeled hotel with attentive staff and security at entrance. Walking distance to many downtown attractions, Union square and beyond depending on fitness.

Location close to Mission Street is concerning. It was easy to bypass and better to walk along Market street. There were notable indigent people camped on side street Minna on North side of hotel starting each night around dusk. Noisy and not safe to walk on that street in the evening. Likewise witnessed some drug use on this street and Mission. It's a citywide issue unfortunately. Breakfast was included for free because I reserved before a policy change that now requires $20 for breakfast in the lobby and gym/pool access at sister hotel across the street. I didn't visit the other hotel but breakfast was pastries which were stale and a few fruit choices. This should NOT be offered at additional cost.

The room was spatios and comfortable. I liked the style of the hotel and the security (the garage was secured by police and the hotel was only accessible with room key). Staff was professional and nice.

The room would need some renovation, but everything was working fine. Bed could've been more comfortable. The location was not the best, as homeless encampments are close. Though the hotel is close to the city center, if you walk or use public transportation, you have to move through the camps and encounter the city's other face.

Location was very central to fun parts of SF to visit, such as the Asian Art Museum. Easy access from the train station. The room itself was VERY nice - well decorated with a classy vibe, luxurious looking and feeling.

This is not the hotel's fault, but there was a lot of noise outside on the street - heavy construction, and at one point someone yelling. I would bring earplugs for your stay, just in case.

During my stay at Hotel Fiona, I really enjoyed the room and the cleanliness. Additionally, I was surprised by the coffee which I was not expecting that. The staff are very helpful and contributed to a pleasant stay. I highly recommend it.

Staff were excellent, hotel was charming, very clean and quiet. The neighbourhood is not comfortable with so many homeless and obvious drug takers. Didn't feel unsafe, just uncomfortable. A shame.
