Overall the rooms are exactly what you need, and of high quality. Fridge, large new TV, comfortable bed, and spacious enough for my long term stay. Feels like an in between Hotel & hostel experience, with only private rooms. The shared bathroom and showers were clean every single time I used for all 30 days of my stay, cleaned daily by housekeeping. Kitchen was also cleaned by housekeeping and in good shape. Host was responsive and kind. The location is out of their control, however within 6 mins of walking you are in a much better area of SF. No crime or anything i witnessed or experienced, just high number of homeless shelters on the street. Large police presence however as well so felt safe.

Clean rooms, just like pictures and helpful staff. Also, they gave vouchers for breakfast to the bakery next door which was nice and hearty. If you come with a car, ask the reception if they have a pass available to the close-by garage, they offered it to us on a super friendly price and the garage is very safe and close to the hotel.

The hotel is just a street away from a bit sketchier part of the city. Their street is still OK but could be a bit scary if you walk back to your accommodation in the evening. Also, just as an FYI, the hotel placed an authorization on my credit card for the first night about 2 weeks before arrival regardless of the free cancelation policy (reverted it only about 8 days later), did the same for the full amount upon check-in (again, reverted 8 days later), but actually charged my card in a different (third) transaction and not in the authorization they already placed. I’ve never had this issue with any other bookings with the same card, so it’s good to know before booking.

The room was very clean and comfortable, all appliances etc looked very new. The TV was huge and the mini fridge was cute! The bed was extremely comfortable. All of the staff we met were friendly and helpful.

Not the hotel's fault, but the neighbourhood is very sketchy and even the cafe attached, which we had vouchers for, was pretty rough and I wasn't happy to bring my daughter around the surrounding streets. The only other thing is, the room has a fan rather than aircon and the fan is so loud I really couldn't leave it on. You can open the windows but there's obviously a lot of street noise as well.

The staff was very friendly, the shared bathrooms were never dirty and were kept very clean. Upon arriving and checking in the person at the desk gave us vouchers for a free breakfast sandwich at the restaurant located under the hotel (which we ate at every day). In the room they have a vanity sink whish had amazing lighting to do makeup and check our outfits in. A short walk down either direction brought you to some fantastic restaurants and about a five minute walk to a Walgreens.

The location is not the worst in San Fransisco, but it is far from amazing. The area outside had many homeless people and people who seemed to be collecting money in exchange for small white baggies. The entry way smelled of urine as the door next to it was used as bathroom. This not something that the hotel can control but it is something to consider. We were never bothered by any people, and I never felt unsafe as there are "Community Ambassadors" at the Corners of nearby intersections.

The building itself was quiet and the staff were very accommodating so thank you! Would definitely recommend to others as it was a great value for $. The bed was super comfortable and we liked that there was a space heater as the room was cold. Mini fridge was cute.

We wished the cafe downstairs was a bit more welcoming. There is nowhere to sit and because of the location we didn't feel comfortable being there. The bathroom could have been cleaned better as the floor was dirty and there was pee above the toilet handle. The hairdryer needs replacement as it was sparking when I tried to use it.

They were so friendly! Was considering the place as a long term option and they sold me! Very Family oriented, with the ideal balance of class, cleanness and comfort.

It was in a very ideal location proximity wise to downtown, the shopping plaza and other ideal locations, there were some homeless in the area but no different than other parts of downtown

It is in the middle of SF in Downtown. The self contained rooms are very good and comfortable. The front desk young man very polite and friendly.

The parking. They don’t have parking and the public parking around the corner charged us $40 from 10pm to next day 12pm.

SOMA is SOMA. But the hotel itself was super clean and comfortable. Super comfy bed, super kind staff. My office is two blocks away, so this was great for me. Would stay here again if I needed a hotel!

tbh i wasn’t expecting much for a hotel in the middle of civic center but it’s okay, the people outside during the nighttime and vehicle sounds in the am really added to the atmosphere ✨ staff was really friendly. and it’s 5 mins away walking to and frmm bill graham. amazing. OH NOT TO MENTION!!! this hotel has the best shampoo and body wash i’ve ever experienced in a hotel ever !!!! no fr, my hair has never been softer and smoother ever, especially from a hotel !! the dispensers are so smart and the brand seems to be called “eversoft” and the labels really gave a whole description about how hydrating and beneficial the soaps are. i tried not to believe it because usually “they just say that” but nope- this label was true to the surface. spectacular.

tbh, for some reason when we first entered into our room, the tv was hung crooked and it had a slash on it and the window screen looked like someone was tryna pop it off-😶 but it’s s’all good tho. like i said, i didn’t expect much and it didn’t bother us so yeah :)

There is a lot of homeless people in the area and they are noisy sometimes.
