Comfortable bed, everything new, modern yet cozy, nice linens. Kind and helpful staff who went out of their way to make sure we had a great stay. Parking lot with security. Great location.

Amazing value for money, and way cheaper than similar hotels. Room was very modern, with a great bathroom and shower. Minimal complaints about the hotel itself.

No blinds on the bathroom, which also had no door. Meant that the sun woke me up in the morning Location can often have LOTS of homeless and addicts nearby, however there is really good security, plus a security guard out front at all time

- Great staff - Very close to public transport - Very clean, consistent housekeeping - Free breakfast and while simple, was filling - Parking available, but I didn't use it myself - Security guards overlook the hotel every night, providing a good sense of security - Rooms themselves are cozy

- No fridge or microwave in the rooms. - Is located right next to the Tenderloin and sadly that is something people will have to deal with. Even if I don't have an issue with it, I would advise caution being out late around the hotel.

This location is horrible. We decided to take a walk. And we're going to go to a few bars. And as we started to walk within a one mile radius. There was nothing but homeless people everywhere. And I'm talking about hundreds, just within a mile. They were going to the bathroom on the ground. There were feces everywhere on the sidewalk they were doing drugs. Right there, as you walked by, it was absolutely disgusting. We turned around, got in our car and drove to the pier to enjoy it down there. Where it is clean. So good hotel, nice and clean, but just don't plan on walking around there.

The hotel is fine for a short stay. The place is clean and I slept very well. The evening staff were also very helpful and brought a small fridge to my room so I could store milk. The breakfast is simple, just pastries, fruit and coffee, but it was enough for me. It's also located very close to a BART station which is extremely handy.

The only downside is that the area is a bit seedy and feels a litte unsafe at night. I had no problems, but there seem to be quite a few homeless people and drug users around.

I liked the whole experience, check in was smooth, decor and furniture was very nice, the room was small but just like most old San Fransisco buildings and the price for it was great. The parking lot had a few spaces and it was watched by a security guard on the premises at all times which made me feel safer. Overall a great hotel for a quick trip.

I was waiting for a catch because it looked too good to be true and I will say the neighborhood in the area is not the best, especially after 7pm. The sidewalks are covered in homeless, their dogs, and a lot of yelling.

The price was great. Room was comfortable and clean. Seemed like an updated room, furniture and bedding and towels. The hotel was surprisingly quiet being in SOMA. We had a room on the backside away from the street however. Free parking was included with a security person 24/7. Air-conditioning worked well, and we used the pool and fitness at the neighboring property.

Yes…the area is a bit gritty, but not as bad as other reviews had lead me to believe.

I enjoyed my stay. The bed was large and comfortable. The room was clean and very quiet. The towels and sheets were regularly changed. I enjoyed the morning breakfast, it's a great way to start a day. The staff were outstanding, always attentive and responsive. The service I received from everyone was very pleasant, particularly from the owner and Gabriel, who were exceptional. Thank you for a great stay !

The hotel is fantastic, exactly as shown in the pictures. Room and bathroom are clean. Bed comfortable. Many homeless gathered at dawn in Market st, but it's pretty safe to walk down.

Some external person accessed the Booking.com system and charged me extra for my stay. This got nothing to do with the hotel. It was a breach in Booking.com system. But Booking.com does not accept responsibilities. So be careful with reservations with booking.com.
