The hotel is centered on Cannery Row, so everything is close by. The e-bike rental store is about 2 blocks away if you want to venture out. Fisherman's Wharf is about to 2 miles away. It was a nice walk, then had dinner and Uber back to the hotel. We were too full, too tired to walk back. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. We were even upgraded on room reservation. Parking is adjacent to the hotel on another street.

I guess I would say the parking fee is $45/night.

Nicely appointed Nice ocean - side setting Ample amenities - workout, pool (although MODEST) I was traveling with 2 girlfriends - we attempted to book spa treatments in advance - the spa was booked, eventually the spa receptionist offered a neighboring spa, a sister spa I believe - for which we were MOST appreciative!

That Booking referred to the room I booked as Ocean “view” which I paid for - and I had to CRANK my neck SIDEWAYS, standing at the window to get a glimpse of the water - DISAPPOINTING & a bit misleading!!! If you are going/interested in the Aquarium - it is a PERFECT location otherwise the area/Monterey felt a bit like Myrtle Beach - NOT the classiest of locations… LOTS of souvenir shops, lower end restaurants, lots of smilies with young children…

The arrival experience was great, everyone super friendly and helpful, very smooth experience. The location is unbeatable. It was also good, that everything was back to pre-pandemic levels, especially housekeeping.

To charge $75.00 PER DAY for our dog to stay with us. This could be a dealbreaker next time. We have stayed with him there many times, he is well behaved, does not make a mess, does jump onto the bed or anything. I understand that they might want to charge a one time fee and I am willing to pay $150, max for a stay, but definitely not $75.00 per day.

Perfect location in the middle of everything and a 2 min walk to the Aquarium, the room was so nice, quiet, the balcony was added bonus to sit and people watch, and had a great view of the Bay with otters and seals. From check in to check out the staff was great. Parking was expensive but worth it.

The bathroom was setup with bars for disabled but disappointed the shower was not a walk in, it was a bathtub/shower combo. For my partner who has MS, it takes a lot to step over. And requested shower chair but they forgot to put the chair in the bathroom for us.

This hotel was even nicer than I expected. The facilities were luxurious and beautiful, the room was spacious, clean and so very comfortable! We loved the big bathroom, Nespresso, and cozy bed and pillows! And the location is to die for—just step out the door and you are right at the Cannery Row highlights including the aquarium!

There is nothing to dislike! I saw some reviews that parking was high but actually it is very reasonable for the area and insanely convenient!

Location was great, convenient to walking around and exploring Cannery Row. Some might find it annoying to be right in the middle of crowds of tourists. However, I am used to it and found it great to access plenty of restaurants and shops. The hotel itself was very clean and inviting. All the staff we interacted with were very friendly and responsive.

I’m not sure there’s much to complain about other than if folks don’t like being in the hustle and bustle of tourists. We enjoyed drinks at the bar both nights but didn’t eat at the restaurant, so can’t comment on quality of food. But the drinks were superb and customer service excellent!

The staff were exceptional ensuring we had a relaxing vacation with a toddler. We were right next to the monterey bay aquarium which helped us tremendously with quickly putting our toddler to nap and not wasting travel time. It also helped reassure us if we forgot anything, we could easily get it. There are paved trails near the aquarium so if you have early wake ups, its great for our toddler! We could see the ocean. The curtains actually blocked much of the light.

Minor problems: the bed was so soft. If youve been sleeping on a tempurpedic, it might take some adjusting. The room has a bar fridge, no freezer and little room for putting stuff to chill. I think the hotel said they can bring up a real mini fridge though! There werent AMAZING food nearby. I think the food nearby were all good but not a foodieworld.

I loved the location of the hotel. It was right on Cannery Row within walking distance to everything fun there is to do for almost anyone wanting to visit and stay overnight in Monterey. We enjoyed the food in the hotel restaurant it was very good. The valet parking was very convenient to utilize and they were very friendly and quick to bring the car whenever we needed it and upon arrival and departure. The views are amazing from their ocean view rooms and they provide complimentary binoculars to watch the sea otters and wildlife while there. It has a beautiful atmosphere and pool and jacuzzi as well! I would definitely recommend to stay and even for a wedding night very romantic and beautiful place and i stay, or for a wedding anniversary.

The only thing I didn’t really like was if we didn’t utilize the valet parking it would be kind of hard to park since there is a lot going on during the day and weekends as far as cars coming and going. I’m not to sure if the hotel even has a designated parking area for the hotel guests other than the valet parking area.

Beautiful hotel. Awesome location with great views. Hotel staff was amazing and super helpful, especially Jenny in Housekeeping. When I lost my ID, and called when already out of the area, Jenny was on it and got back to me immediately. My ID was found and returned within a couple days. Thank you all for a wonderful and memorable stay:) and thank you, Jenny for going above and beyond, you are an absolute angel <3

After 1 TERRIBLE night at the SFO Marriott (No valet parking, no host at restaurant, no ice machine on OUR floor), the Intercontinental Clement at Monterey was INCREDIBLE!! Easy to valet park!! Matthew on the front desk was so HELPFUL getting us in our room even though we were a few hours early!! AND he answered our questions that whole day!! The VIEW!! Seagulls sitting on our posts on our balcony!! EVEN WHEN I SAT OUTSIDE TO READ!! And I got a GREAT video of an Otter swimming by!!! Saw her with 2 pups a few days earlier but I couldn't get my camera focused!! AND Justa, our room cleaner did a GREAT job every day and she was so pleasant!! And there were REAL Orchids in our bathroom and they were replaced in each room!! WHO DOES THAT?!! You folks go WAY BEYOND!! And the 'C' was SO GOOD for our 3 breakfasts and 2 dinners!!! You folks REALLY made our vacation!! And don't forget how ALL the shops and Aquarium are right outside!! Such an easy walk to everywhere!!!

We watch a lot of TV and the selections were limited. AND the TV Guide was an hour behind!! And Channel 47 wasn't playing the shows on the guide but it WAS in Spanish!!! Unfortunately, we go to a TON of movies so the movie selections were ones we'd all ready seen!! Not your fault!!
