Perfectly located right in the center of town, with lots of restaurants within one block and only a few minutes walk to the aquarium. Being able to park the car in the garage and being able to leave it there until 4 pm after checking out was so helpful. The way the hotel was built, it had a courtyard with two firepits and ample seating which made us forget that we were in the middle of town! The room was clean and the beds comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.

2nd floor was perfect for families with young children: room for them to safely walk around in front of the rooms. We told our little grandsons that the flat rocks were dinosaur eggs (they named them). The baby monitor had reception from the fire pit area and we could see the room door easily from there.

Thought I booked the family two adjoining rooms on Booking.com, but when we got there we were told that we actually booked two separate rooms that were four doors down. Don’t know where the error occurred. Suggest calling the property to confirm booking in future. Plan to have $50 security deposit placed on your credit card.

The location was fabulous. Our room was very nice, clean, and comfortable. The bathroom was spa level nice! It was the staff that made it so special. So kind and welcoming, ready with recommendations on attractions and restaurants. Plus, we were gifted a goodie bag upon check-in with some tasty snacks. All in all, a truly lovely stay at a lovely hotel with wonderful people. Thank you!

Great location - walking distance to the aquarium, shops and restaurants. Room was clean, lovely and big to spread out. Loved the fire pit that was lit in the evening great way to chat and meet other guests. Special shout out to Carol on reception- there was the woman’s European football final on, England were in it and she helped us find which channel to watch it on. She also organised a bottle of wine to help use celebrate dads 80th birthday- so thanks Carol xx

Was near every place we wanted to go to.

We absolutely loved this hotel. It gave traditional American motel vibes but with the luxury. Beds were very comfortable and rooms were spacious. The fire pit was excellent and was a great place for us and friends to chill at the end of the night. Parking was great. We got a welcome snack bag upon arrival which was a lovely bonus after a long drive.

Nothing. It was excellent. Would definitely recommend and stay here again if I am fortunate enough to return to Monterey.

Easy to find, good location close to everything you would want to see. Rooms were of a good size and provide a pack and play for our little one. Lovely atmosphere with the fire pits on in the evening. Safe secure garage to park the car and was able ti leave it here the next day whilst we explored

Sliding doors into bathroom were very noisy (difficult with a sleeping newborn!) and and could hear the people walking above us.

I loved that it was super close to everything me and my boyfriend wanted to do! It was about a 3 minute walk to get to the closest beach ( a small one ) and has amazing seafood right next door. 5 minutes away was a Bubba Gump, and another 2 from there is a delish crepe spot! Everything made my stay even better!

Nothing! Staff was amazing and helpful throughout the whole stay. Lots of fun!

I loved the minute we walked in Carol was so welcoming and made us extremely comfortable also handed us a guide to all the food and things to do on our trip! She was the best! I’ll be booking again soon! The room we got was perfect and had an ocean view, thank you guys!

The only thing I would say is def the bird mess but other than that it was great.

Location. Walking distance to major Landmarks in the area. Less than an hour of driving to Big Sur River gorge. Passing by many beautiful beaches.

A little bit over price, maybe because we were there over the holiday (July 4th).
