The breakfast basket was just perfect... The separate rooms enabled early risers to move about without disturbing the 'late' risers. The decor was interesting. I love the mexican tiles.

Although the chairs and sitting furniture were stylish, they were not comfortable or cozy. Without the addition of several pillows there was no way to sit comfortably and read or watch TV. I would suggest the addition of a couple of overstuffed chairs. The mattresses were comfortable; however, with the foot boards attached the beds were just too short to accommodate a tall guest. (I am 6' 3"). I suggest warning your future taller guests of this limitation so that an appropriate room/bed size can be chosen.

I loved the seclusion just outside the front door and the privacy of the little cafe table, surrounded by a terrace and some plants. The room was very spacious and although there was no sink, there was plenty of counterspace. There was no land line available during my stay, I have a cell phone, so no issues there. Lots of lighting options in the room, which sets the mood and provides for a wonderful retreat. The tub/shower faucet was a little unique and the bathroom was a decent size. The location is about two blocks away from the main street. Overall very quiet and private and wonderful stay!

The Blue Iguana is a unique and beautiful boutique type hotel. Our stay was fantastic! The rooms are very clean and comfortable, the staff is wonderful and the property on the whole is wonderful! We were there for our son’s wedding and had several family and friends staying there as well. Everyone was very happy with the stay!

This property is so clean and well kept. The suites are very large and beds are comfortable. Loved the large area under the trees with the fire pit and chairs. Perfect for hanging out with friends and family.

We loved our stay. Everyone was so welcoming. Our "Casita" was just exactly what we needed with our dog along with us. It had a full kitchen, living area, separate bedroom and bath. The level of comfort just fit our desires and allowed the dog to be himself. The grounds were big and allowed us to take the puppy our for his last "walk" each evening without leaving the property. Finally, the Ojai to Ventura walking/biking path across the street gave us the opportunity to take a long walk each morning in the shade of the trees. We will definitely come back.

The only difficulty is entering the Inn's driveway off the main road (CA 33). It's pretty busy and coming back from Ojai to the Inn involves an awkward left-hand turn across oncoming traffic. Everything else was wonderful.

The adobe look meets the feeling of the area. We went for the deluxe king and the room was spacious and tasteful. Everything we needed was in there, including for our breakfast (we brought our coffee and food). The enclosed patio was fantastic to hang out, especially with a dog.

The bathroom could have been updated a little, but everything we needed was there. The hotel could be a little clearer about the dog fee.

The check-in process was seamless and very friendly. Our room (#10) was very comfortable and nicely decorated. The room was right off the pool area, which we did use. Towels were provided and there were shade and sunny spots to lounge. We did drive into town for the evening as there is no restaurant on the premises. It was a short drive, easy to come and go. We did get the breakfast basket for the morning which was wonderful! Some items came along with us because we just couldn't eat everything. The grounds are very lovely . I was a little hesitant about the noise coming off the highway but it really wasn't bad and they do provide ear plugs, if needed (I didn't find the need).

No complaints.

The room was just right (size, aesthetic, small things like nicer-than-usual coffee cups and glasses, the bed great. The outdoor table and chairs and candle for each room was terrific. The pool area was lovely, especially the pool bed cushions. The setting was lovely.

Street noise was a mild distraction at the pool, but there is nothing anyone can do about that.

The landscaping grounds and architecture was just beautiful. Staff was wonderful. The room was perfect.

We were in room number 12 which was handicapped because I had my mother with me. But it’s probably the noisiest room that you have. I did not realize that when I booked or else I would’ve gladly paid extra to be further away from the road

Our 2nd stay and we loved it just as much as we did the first time. A great escape from the madness of LA and perfect way of to end a long road trip!

There were some slightly annoying kids in the pool when we were trying to relax, not sure why you’d choose to take your kids here on holiday as it feels like an adults only resort.

We booked two rooms and they were very spacious and comfortable. Had everything we needed for the night and morning. It's in a great location close to downtown Ojai and beautiful hiking trails. The staff were very kind and welcoming. Would definitely book again.
