We traveled to San Diego by Amtrak, and this hotel was the perfect choice. The location couldn’t be better—just a short walk from the station and right by the bay. Check-in was smooth, and the staff were welcoming, friendly, and always ready to help. Our suite was spotless, modern, and very comfortable with amazing views of the harbor. The beds were cozy, and the layout gave us plenty of space to relax after a full day of exploring. The rooftop pool and lounge were highlights, with stunning views of the water and city skyline. Breakfast was included and offered a good variety, perfect to start the day. What made it even better was the convenience—easy access to Little Italy, the USS Midway, Seaport Village, and the Gaslamp Quarter, all within walking distance. Overall, everything about this stay was fantastic: location, cleanliness, service, and comfort. We would absolutely return and highly recommend it to anyone visiting San Diego.

Amazing location and view, but breakfast needs improvement I had a great stay at this hotel in San Diego. The location is absolutely perfect – right in the heart of everything, and the view from the 15th floor was just stunning, overlooking the bay. The staff were all very kind and welcoming, which made the experience even better. However, the breakfast was a bit disappointing. It wasn’t very tasty or diverse. Most of the meat options were very spicy – even the sausages – and there was no bacon, regular sausages, hash browns, or vegetables. I definitely expected more variety and better quality from a hotel like this. Still, overall I really enjoyed my stay thanks to the amazing view and great service. Just hope they improve the breakfast in the future!

I really wasn’t a fan of breakfast! It was a very limited choice. Only 4 hot options and 2 of the options were scrambled eggs and scrambled egg whites (every day) which I just couldn’t get my head round. One day waffles were an option when there are 4 waffle machines (that were really nice) on the other side of the room and the continental options didn’t change at all in the week we were there. Little more variety. 8 hot plates but only 4 food options and as mentioned 4 of the 8 were scrambled egg.

Fabulous!! We loved the location, walked everywhere, even as far as balboa park. Felt safe, laid back. Perfect for ferry to coronado, Hotel was clean, stylish, perfect! Pool the perfect way to spend the late afternoon after exploring. View from room amazing! We hope to come back!!

The bar could have opened earlier, a cold drink by the pool would have been nice. The guy on the bar on the one evening that I ventured up there was rude, kept checking his watch, no customer service..he was the exception though, everyone else super friendly.

The breakfast was extraordinary, everything was super clean, the view from the room was amazing, the room smelled really nice. We had microwave in our rooms and even some cutlery and paper plates, everything that we needed was at our fingertips. Amazing experience! The room offered a landline phone which was a huge help as we had some issues with our rental car, so we could call the rental service for free from the room. This was also a huge help.

The parking fee was quite expensive, but security is key; it was good that we had a parking option with surveillance.

This hotel has a great location right in the heart of Downtown. Even though the area gets busy, parking was surprisingly easy and convenient. We were able to walk to shops, restaurants, and attractions without needing to drive anywhere. The breakfast was really nice too, with more options than expected and everything fresh and well prepared. It made the whole stay feel easy and relaxed. A great choice if you want to be close to everything without the usual downtown hassles.

My boyfriend loved the location right on the bay. The view from our corner King suite was stunning day and night! Beds were extremely comfortable, it was so hard for us to leave them every morning. The front desk staff were super friendly and polite and made the stay even more enjoyable!

My only complaint would be the continental breakfast. The food seemed very low quality and poorly made. I understand I shouldn’t expect much with free continental breakfast but considering the rest of the facilities were amazing and the Bayfront location, I expected a little bit better.

Staff was beyond amazing, the managers Harron and Alex helped me make my stay extra comfy. Hussein at front desk is amazing as well. Room view was great, I actually like the north view better than the south view from my corner room, unlike the conventional saying of guests. Thank you very much for a wonderful stay.

Hopefully they consider pushing breakfast till 10 AM instead of 9/9:30 AM

The location is perfect! You can park there and walk to USS Midway and other areas, or take other transportations at Santa Fe Station. The room is very clean, with pretty good view (no bathtub though). Complimentary breakfast (but no complimentary bottled water in the room). Check in was easy and fast. Parking fee ($42) is not included in the room charge but it's common in the area, plus it's close to many attractions so we think it's worth it. We would definitely recommend it!

The parking ($42 for our stay) and the rooms are not directly connected. You'll need to transfer on the 5th floor and take another elevator in the patio. Bathroom uses sliding door and has no lock. But it won't be a big problem for families. No complimentary bottled water is sth we didn't expect. They are available for $6 each.

Harbor and Sky Lounge was fantastic! Caleb went out of his way to get me some vegan food. The view of the bay was amazing! The location was ideal, there was a Starbucks right across the driveway. The pool was delightful. Everything was clean and in good repair. Would definitely stay there again.

Their process for charging me was less than ideal. At first they charged me two times for a part of my stay and then after I checked out they deleted those first two partial charges and applied two more partial charges, but for a minute I thought I had been over charged until I figured out that the first two were removed. It would be much better if they would just charge me one time for the whole amount.
