We enjoyed the comfortable, clean, fresh beds in the suite. The kids loved playing at the in door pool. We enjoyed the beautiful view at Seaport Village, as well as, the car show and music at at the gaslamp area street fair. So much fun!

First, booking.com had not sent email about our booking. It took extra long getting the issue resolved. But it was resolved eventually by a pleasant clerk. Most importantly, we had trouble with getting my sons (birthday boys) lap top connected to wifi. He has autism and became quite stressed. It took me a lot of time on the phone getting then the proper person to help resolve the issue. It took several hours to get it connected. I paid extra to ensure this would not happen. It did eventually get resolved though

The beds were very comfortable, and the breakfast was amazing! The room had everything we needed. The location was a good hub for exploring San Diego.

The staff were quite agressive about upselling Hilton vacation products - we felt like we needed to hide every time we walked through the lobby and dining area to avoid being pitched. This is not a critique of the staff as I know they're just doing their job, but moreso of the hotel's practices. I expect that type of pushy sales tactic from street vendors in a tourist trap, but not at a nice hotel in the US. It felt like instead of serving their guests, the hotel was just trying to extract more money from us.

We really enjoyed the location. My family was so pleased with the cleanliness and my boys just wanted to stay in the hotel. We enjoyed the complimentary breakfast the morning we were checking out. There were plenty of food options and available seating.

I didn't like that there was a $25 facilities charge and a that a $65 valet parking fee is the only available parking option. The $25 facilities charge can be used as credit towards the facilities on the property and I would have used the money in the gift shop but it was not open during our stay.

The facilities and add ons were fantastic. Really enjoyed the breakfast service in the morning, the reception drinks in the evenings and the credits for the gift shop. Staff were noticeably friendly and always going the extra mile. Pool and fitness facilities were great. Room was very comfortable even as a shared space for 6 people. Location is ideal also for acces to Seaport village and walking distance to most of the city. Over all an excellent experience that I highly recommend.

It was great! We had 2 of our grandchildren with us, they loved the indoor pool. The breakfasts were great not having to go find a restaurant early in the morning, and with the "made to order" everyone got to eat what they wanted. The location was perfect! Walking distance to the Midway along with many restaurants. I like how it's a suite, with the extra sink and you can close the door to the bedroom making the living room separate.The bathrooms seemed to be updated. The beds were very comfortable.

The rooms were clean but I thought living area was a little tired looking.

Room was clean and bright. Plenty of outlets for 4 individuals with multiple devices. Breakfast was well organized and did not feel crowded even on a busy weekend morning. Location was perfect for downtown activities.

While I understand the need for valet parking in this area of town, known busy times seemed to have same staff as other times and delays in drop off or acquiring our vehicle was long. Valet times ranged from 5-30 min over 2 days (inconsistent). Valet staff were very friendly and were doing their best.

The whole experience was superb. Rolling in, we left our car with the valet, and didn't see it again until we checked out, since my event was happening at the convention center, which was just 10 minutes away walking. The happy hour at the hotel is also a nice plus, one that we enjoyed taking part in. Also, just by being there, we were awarded Hilton honor points!

To me, the gym and fitness area was lacking some real equipment. This is not a problem exclusive to Embassy Suites, because when I travel I always have issues getting a full routine in. I would have loved to see at least a barbell and a rack, that would usually suffice. However, they only have dumbbells and cardio equipment.

good location, staff overall friendly

Room was not serviced twice during our stay and never hovered - and we stayed for 6 nights. Hardly any vegan options for breakfast and nothing apart from frozen soy milk when asked - for 2024 and such a big chain this is very disappointing. Also did not like to drink out of plastic cups for breakfast and the amount that goes to waste every single day. Unnecessary.

Breakfast was pretty good, the room was very clean, looks like the hotel was recently renovated and the rooms had a good size for our family of 5. The location is also really good, walking distance from many downtown SD sites.

I new there was an additional 45 dollars per day for parking, but I was surprised with another fee of 25 dollars per day that was not clear to me during the reservation. It's some sort kind of resort fee, but the thing is the hotel does not provide other things than the breakfast (that is included in the room fee), so I was a bit disappointed that we had to pay this as an extra. Also there is no parking around the hotel, so if you drive there you'll probably have to pay the valet services...

The room was great for our stay with our kids. Location was perfect as it was walking distance to the Midway, the seaport stores, Gaslamp district and Petco Park. Plenty to do and see within walking distance. Lots of food choices around the hotel. Breakfast was perfect to feed my hungry kids but was not the best hotel breakfast I've had compared to other Embassy suites. Though it was smoothly ran.

The only thing I could say is a lot of the breakfast items just weren't warm enough.
