Great location, affordable and perfect for a solo traveler and a short stay. The vintage interior is very beautiful, and the lobby is simply wonderful! I would definitely stay here again if needed!

Unfortunately, my room didn’t have a fridge, coffee maker, kettle, or safe — maybe other rooms do, but mine didn’t. So if you’re staying for more than a day or two, don’t count on having breakfast in your room. Also, not the hotel’s fault, but sadly the guests in the room next to mine were unbelievably loud, yelling nonstop and letting their kids scream at the top of their lungs. It was incredibly annoying and completely ruined my evening. Luckily, I was exhausted enough to fall asleep quickly anyway.

A lot of the reviews that I saw was making me second guess, the location is OK you’re in the middle of San Francisco so what would you have expected? There was a smell, but I think it’s just an old building. Other than that it was great. The picture is what you see and is what you get. elevator worked, showers were great overall it was perfect for our one night. Stay to go explore San Francisco 

The only thing I could say is go without the smell, but with the window open and ventilation turn off the heater it was good to go

The location was ideal, and the hotel was quaint. The rooms were spacious. Staff was friendly and price was fantastic.

The room was a little old, a bit rundown, especially the curtains and windows. And the neighborhood had a lot of homeless. The hotel did not offer coffee in the room or lobby. There was a little café next-door, but it was not open while we were there.

Clean rooms, quiet inside the hotel, parking in back of hotel for $30 a night with in and out services. Always had extra towels and pillows on hand. Older style bathrooms gave it a homely charm (: Cute little cafe in/next to hotel that serves simple breakfasts and unique coffee

It is a good, economic option for spending a night at a downtown location. The building is old, but clean, and the staff is helpful.

The downtown location has its pros and cons. The cons are: expensive parking and noise at night. The hotel is located in a less affluent part of town, with many individuals experiencing social challenges on the streets.

It was a perfect place for a 1 or 2 night stay. We came for pride weekend, great location near it. Front desk was very helpful getting us extra towels and blankets. Bath tub is a nice and the rooms are nice. Parking is 30$ a day but you don't pay for your check out day. Delicious breakfast nearby.

Loved the affordability! There was a few events in the area and unlike other hotels, they didnt raise the prices. My husband, daughter and I were super comfortable in our king room. Entire hotels smells clean and fresh.

Some street noise thru the night, but nothing you can't expect from being in downtown SF

Clean room, quiet at times and staff was awesome.

Pillows on the bed all but one was flat. Some days there was some just screaming and banging randomly. I guess they took care of it. It eventually stop
