The location is definitely ideal if you want to be in Union Square. The hotel itself had so many bells and whistles. The hotel offered a ton of amenities including restaurants.Tons of food offerings nearby as well. The gym was larger than my company's gym and was super impressive. The staff was sensational. They recommended great bakeries, and breakfast spots.

Unfortunately, the restaurant within the hotel was very expensive. Two breakfast meals can easily cost near $100. The daily valet was also pretty steep. You are better off leveraging public transportation and researching nearby restaurants for food. The location has a vast amount of sketchy folks around. That is beyond the hotel's control but something to consider.

We stayed in a family suite with 2 double beds for family of 5 the couch pulled out to a bed but was really uncomfortable but we asked the reception and they brought a pull out bed into the room for us which was really helpful. The view from our room was amazing and managed to see the golden gate through the fog. Location is fantastic for the Trollies and the local trams. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We used the pool at the sister hotel which is located across the road and towels were provided at the pool. I would defiantly recommend this hotel.

The picture show the pool but the pool is located at the sister hotel across the road.

Room was nice and clean. Generous size, Comfy beds. British lady on reception was super friendly!

Initial receptionist was not too welcoming. We had an issue - our fault completely. Forgot our passports - we were in California staying with family and left them in their safe. She could not comprehend why we did not have any Photo ID or carry out passports with us. I informed her that in the UK we don't usually. She didn't beleive me until the British receptionist confirmed it. Luckily our US family sent copies of the passports and was resolved but initially the receptionist was not prepared to help or think of a solution. Thank God the British receptionist was on!

I like the location. I did not like that. The swimming pool was all the way around the corner at another facility and I didn't like how it was an additional $40 per person to eat breakfast. It should have been included. I did like the $35 Day credit that was cool. At least it was to cover coffee and juice

I didn't like that. The pool was around the corner at another facility and I did not like that. It was an additional $40 for breakfast and the parking was so expensive. I hated that I was almost $100 a night

The location is good for transit in San Francisco. The room was comfortable with a good bed. The service was good. The breakfast buffet was expensive, but excellent as buffets go.

Our room was not ready at the 3pm check in time. They gave us a handicap room instead, which felt a little strange, but was good. I wish they had a love seat in the room like the picture when I booked, instead the chair had super high arms and a deep seat, making it uncomfortable, and it also did not face the tv. We felt like the restaurants nearby were either high end, or fast food, with not much in between that was close. Also the restaurants nearby were mainly Asian, which was fine for a while but not always. Granted, we have mobility issues and weren't up for 10 minute walks, so those who can go farther afield will have more choice. The in-house restaurant was adequate, but not worth the price (except for breakfast) and had a limited menu.

I will stay again because the location can't be beat!

I wish we would have had a higher room with a view. Our view was the roof of the 2 buildings next door- somewhat disappointing. Otherwise the room was a little dated and outlets didn't work. Had to move the coffee maker to plug into the TV because the one it was on didn't work. Bathroom very outdated.

great service!

My United flight was cancelled for a day because it was a 737 MAX engines. Then the hotel clerk doubled the price of my same room for an over night stay, while there was another conference going on. Could have more classical decor, though. a few classical columns is expressive of civilizational heritage. The design was too functional in ugly industrial design

The room I have is spacious and staff there are friendly. The hotel is new and very near to hop on hop off bus stop. Walking distance to Union Square as well. The most important, provide service to keep the luggage which I saw many of San Francisco Hotel doesn't provide this service.

All good. Breakfast expensive imo but very good, best on our holiday for sure.

Although it's located central, its in the beginning of a neighborhood (Tenderloin, Market Street downwards) with many junkies and homeless people. Had never a Problem and random conversations were friendly but felt a bit uncomfortable sometimes. Still its only a few footsteps away (in the other direction) from Union Square, where the action in San Francisco begins. Went all by foot.

Awesome room with a good view to the financial district. Short walk to union sq. and china town.

pls improve communications on how to use the pool in the other Hilton. We were not aware to collect a different room key. Would help your guests to add more information (also if change rooms would be available)
