Pleasantly surprised of this inn. I did not expect much as it’s not a hotel but I was quite happy with what I booked. The room is very spacious and the bed is a king size bed and very comfortable. The bathroom is also spacious and there is room to put your luggage and clothes. The location is also ideal and near everything by foot (for the walkers because SF is very very hilly (extremely hilly)). There are a lot of little restaurants and bars around the corner. The neighborhood is also safe

The downside of the inn/the room was the fact that they put a coffee machine at our disposal (capsule one) but they also put some solvent coffee instead of 1/2 capsules which was quite strange because there was no water kettle in the room so the solvent coffee was useless and the coffee machine too except if you buy the capsules yourself. The second downside was the fact that the water in the shower was not super warm. Other than that everything was good!

The king bedroom was very spacious, clean and it looked just like in the pictures on the website. I had asked for a quiet room that did not face the street and was not adjacent to the elevator and I was assigned one that fulfilled these requirements. I was also able to check in a few hours early, which I very much appreciated. The inn is about half an hour walk to the marina and Fishermen's Wharf.

There was no option to store suitcases at reception after check-out. The reception was almost always unstaffed, although a phone number was provided.

The bed was very comfortable and the room facilities were all very good and in good working order and clean and bright. The onsite parking was very useful and easy to use. The location was very good for our exploration of SF. We had easy access to walk or use the various public transport options. Plenty of local shops, bars, and restaurants to choose from if you don't want to go to the pier areas all of the time. Overall, a good base for everything in the city and quiet enough to relax away from the traffic.

The room was immaculate, beds were comfortable, and location was excellent. Staff allowed you privacy but were there to help if needed. Staff were friendly and helpful. Maids came around to provide fresh towels daily. The parking was very convenient, we could see our car from our room, it was free, and easy to find spots during our stay. It made it easy to come and go as we wanted. The neighborhood was great to walk around. We enjoyed local Korean food, Chinese Food, fresh donuts from Bob's donuts, Hot Cookie, and more. The Cheese Plus on the corner had cold drinks and other items which was convenient. The location was close to Fisherman's Wharf, Pier 39, Golden Gate Bridge, and freeways. Also, close to China town and Japan town. Nob Hill Motor Inn was a great price too and much lower costs than many other nearby options!

Only things was that the water was not as hot as I prefer for a shower, but still warm.

The location was great, in the quiet Nobb Hill neighbourhood and close to the 49 Muni Bus down Van Ness Ave. A few shops, cafes and restaurants close by. You could walk (about 20-30 mins) down to Ghirradelli Sq and Fishermans Wharf or catch transport. The house keeping staff were lovely, with a clean room each day and very accommodating.The room was pretty well equipped.

The front desk staff were hardly seen and not that helpful. The hotel won't hold bags if you have a late flight. The worst part was the "elephants" above us. The hotels sound proofing wasn't good and we could hear other travellers all around us and especially a child using the rolling chairs early in the morning 🙄.. An upgrade on the flooring outside the room would also help refresh it.

Nob Hill was in a perfection location for staying and seeing all on San Fran! We had a hire car & all parking was forst come first served! Our room was huge! Has everything we needed and the beds were super comfy!

Although I feel there is absolutely nothing wrong with this place, I just was fearful of not getting parking space, if it's full, you have to park on the street & the road signs, warnings, parking meters etc were all a bit confusing.. Make sure you get a parking space! But this situation has no reflection on the accomodation! I'd certainly stay here again!

Location is great, walking distance to great restaurants. Polk Street is a hip and happening place now, and just 1/2 block away. Lots of UCSF students give it a lively feel. There is a green bicycle route on Polk as well, which we used a lot. The parking lot under the motel was free.

Sheets were thin, no coffee or tea in office, cheap coffee in rooms. Outdoor carpets were grungey (but indoor flooring was clean.) Clerks were not in the office most of the time, you had to call for service. Our room (310) had a partial city view but most rooms did not.

The location was great for getting around the city. At night it was very quiet. There was absolutely no noise pollution which was impressive. The staff were all friendly and helpful. My only gripe is that the parking spots are very tiny and difficult to get into. However, there is parking available on the street and is more accessible in the evening.

Tiny parking spots. I would not suggest trying to park a truck or large suv in a parking spot in the provided parking. Small SUV’s and sedans work well for this parking. The elevator does close at night. There are several stair wells to access all floors after the elevator is down though.

The price for the location was the driver of the choice. We could access to different places of interest either by walking within 30 minutes or by public transport. It’s an excellent location for those who don’t drive. For those who drive, the stay comes with free parking. Overall, it’s clean.

The communication of the management and among staff members. The management didn’t reply me when I sent a message about a request. The staff members were not informed of our extended stay and caused some confusion.

The room was a good size, the bed was extra large and comfortable. The room was cleaned every day. Location was very good, very near public transport and within 30 minutes of the Presidio, fisherman's Wharf, Pier 39 and Pier 33 if you are going to Alcatraz.

Although the refurbished room looked good, I thought a couple of more minor additions would complete the stay. The room has a microwave and a refrigerator but no cutlery or crockery. Get rid of the paper cups and put real cups in there. A toaster would be handy. Power outlets on one side of the room were either blanked off or just didn't work.
