My husband and I stayed at this hotel for the celebration of our anniversary. The reception was unexpected. Check in time was 3 pm, we were checked in at 1 pm. Every day, the Bell men and security guards gave us maps and instructions on what bus to take to explore the city and how to get back, specifically Joseph. On a rainy day, they lent us an umbrella.The facility is a walking distance from Whole foods, cable car service, bus services, and union square. Staying at this hotel literally added the spice we needed to enjoy our visit to a city we’ve never been to . As a result, we see San Francisco as one of the most enjoyable place to visit.

The size of the bed was enormous. Reception staff were really friendly and helpful including a left luggage facility. The area the hotel is in is very safe and has great connections to Fisherman's Warf etc via a bus stop outside. There is also a cable car stop less than a 5min walk away on California which will take you into the central area.

Our room was next to an elevator shaft so we constantly heard them going up and down all night. The room definitely needs updating but for the price paid it was fine. $200 was pre authorised on my card on check in, which I'm still awaiting to be returned a week later after check out.

Friendly staff, good location to sight-seeing, updated rooms, hot shower, on-site parking, vehicles clear the 5'10" with no trouble A few notes to travelers: Parking is $40+tax per night (considering you pay for parking EVERYWHERE in San Fran, it's reasonable for the area) Breakfast Buffet is $29.95 +tax per person. If you can get breakfast included with your hotel stay... do it. It is your typical hot and cold breakfast, buffet--tasty food, and coffee included. We got 15% discount to use which is helpful. Most surrounding restaurants for breakfast are $20-25 per meal, $4.75 for coffee. Upon reflection... the buffet is a reasonable price for the area.

It was a nice room which worked well for me and my teenage daughter, enough space and comfy beds. Also liked being near the cable car, restaurants and stores. Your concierge was lovely!

When I booked I asked if there was any chance of an early check-in as we were arriving early on long haul from NZ. I was advised that it was possible but dependant on the day. The guy on reception was rude and said only if I pay extra. I checked our bags and went out for the day but was disappointed with his attitude. Clearly there were rooms available and it would have been nice to be able to freshen up before we headed out for the day.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel, and it met all my expectations. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful sleep every night. The heating and air conditioning system worked perfectly, maintaining the room at an ideal temperature. The blackout curtains were excellent, completely blocking out sunlight, whether in the morning or during the afternoon. There was plenty of space for luggage and clothing, making it easy to stay organized. I appreciated the direct USB connections, which were a thoughtful and convenient detail. The entire room, including the bathroom, was spotlessly clean, and the housekeeping service was exceptional. The staff at the lobby were attentive and always friendly, ready to assist with any request. Conversations at the bar with the staff were pleasant, as they were welcoming and kind. The overall atmosphere was warm and inviting. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay here again when visiting San Francisco.

The overall experience at the hotel was positive, but one issue stood out: the elevators. They seemed a bit outdated and made noticeable noises while operating, which made me feel somewhat uneasy during my stay. I believe this is an area that could use some attention to ensure guests feel completely comfortable.

The hotel was located in a decent, clean part of town. Not the epicenter of activity and nightlife, but also didn't have the homeless population that is more common in other neighborhoods. There's a nice little restaurant and bar, however, I didn't have a chance to patronize either one, so can't speak to their quality. The room itself was clean, the bed was surprisingly comfortable and I had a pretty great view of the city on the 19th floor. The rate was way lower than I'd expect to find in most of the city.

While the room rate was relatively low, I did have to pay $49 / night for parking, which I imagine is pretty standard. But still pretty outrageous. There were a few plumbing issues. Maybe just my room or perhaps consistent throughout the hotel. The toilet didn't flush consistently and the bathroom sink would take a LONG time to cool down to usable temperature once turned all the way hot.

I liked the security & cleanliness of the facility. Private parking is provided as well and it is much cheaper than other hotels charge.

The restaurant should get a barista & espresso machine. The machine they have for lattes is a powder mix, but at least there is a Starbucks nearby on the same block.

The hotel was very clean and well presented. The room was spacious and had a great view over the city. I loved the big window. There was a nice pool area and the bar and restaurant were great.

We travelled in a party of 3, breakfast was only included for free for 2 of us and $30 per meal for the other person. We were checking out before breakfast on the 3rd day and I asked if we could use those for the 3rd person on the 2 days we would be eating but weren't allowed. The food was nice but $30 for the buffet breakfast is expensive.
