Excellent location. Lots of useful services like a laundry room, pool, parking and a gym.

Parking is 50 a day which is expensive .

I liked the location and the rooms we got had incredible views of the city. Close by to several convenient stores and a couple of restaurants. Victors Pizza around the corner was really good. Also this hotel is right next to a cable car stop and bus stops which is very convenient to get around. For being a last minute booking I loved the views and how they accommodate us to sleep comfortably with our family.

The only thing I didn’t like was that we didn’t get connecting rooms but they did accommodate us across from each other on the same floor for being a last minute booking it was pretty good. :) The views on both sides were perfect.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for the celebration of our anniversary. The reception was unexpected. Check in time was 3 pm, we were checked in at 1 pm. Every day, the Bell men and security guards gave us maps and instructions on what bus to take to explore the city and how to get back, specifically Joseph. On a rainy day, they lent us an umbrella.The facility is a walking distance from Whole foods, cable car service, bus services, and union square. Staying at this hotel literally added the spice we needed to enjoy our visit to a city we’ve never been to . As a result, we see San Francisco as one of the most enjoyable place to visit.

Great second stay! I cancelled my reservation at a different hotel and returned after my first stay for a second three night stay. Loved the view! Bed was super comfortable. I asked Housekeeping to bring a microwave to the room and they did. Erick at the front desk was kind and welcoming beyond expectation.

I booked twice for two Grand View room stays through Booking.com. Both rooms were adjacent to the elevator shaft. The elevator sound was pretty persistent, except in the late night hours. I think the property gives these rooms to Booking.com at a discount. I reframed the noise as high wind and didn't let it bother me, but it might bother some people.

The restaurant staff were not pleasant. We had breakfast there two mornings two different set of staff were not pleasant. Everyone was very short with all of the patrons. One waiters was asking the airline crew if they were finished and it was obvious they didn’t speak English as their first language and she said are you done yes or no in the very unpleasant tone. I asked for eggs to made over easy. I said I know there will be a charge. May I Have eggs. The lady said to me twice it is not included. I said I understand I would like the eggs over easy and again she said it is not include and again I said I understand may I please have eggs over easy. I will pay for them. The restaurant staff, they need training service is not their forte

You couldn't ask for a better location. It's minutes from public transport and a short drive to the piers. As far as scenery - we were on the 14th floor and had amazing views of the city!! (when it wasn't obscured by fog) This was our 10th hotel on a roadtrip and had a noticeable *lack* of any odors. No weird mustiness or smell of urine, no chemical / cleaner smell. Just no smell - which was amazing! Breakfast was good. It was a bit disappointing that Booking had "breakfast included" but the hotel charged for children 12 or up, but the person running the breakfast waived it without us having to argue. The room was also able to darken almost completely, which was nice for sleeping (especially since the beds weren't super comfortable)

Parking with an SUV is awful - the garage has laughably small parking spaces (I had maybe 2-3 inches on each side between my car and the white line in my Hyundai Palisade). The bed was too springy - like sleeping on a diving board.

The size of the bed was enormous. Reception staff were really friendly and helpful including a left luggage facility. The area the hotel is in is very safe and has great connections to Fisherman's Warf etc via a bus stop outside. There is also a cable car stop less than a 5min walk away on California which will take you into the central area.

Our room was next to an elevator shaft so we constantly heard them going up and down all night. The room definitely needs updating but for the price paid it was fine. $200 was pre authorised on my card on check in, which I'm still awaiting to be returned a week later after check out.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel, and it met all my expectations. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful sleep every night. The heating and air conditioning system worked perfectly, maintaining the room at an ideal temperature. The blackout curtains were excellent, completely blocking out sunlight, whether in the morning or during the afternoon. There was plenty of space for luggage and clothing, making it easy to stay organized. I appreciated the direct USB connections, which were a thoughtful and convenient detail. The entire room, including the bathroom, was spotlessly clean, and the housekeeping service was exceptional. The staff at the lobby were attentive and always friendly, ready to assist with any request. Conversations at the bar with the staff were pleasant, as they were welcoming and kind. The overall atmosphere was warm and inviting. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay here again when visiting San Francisco.

The overall experience at the hotel was positive, but one issue stood out: the elevators. They seemed a bit outdated and made noticeable noises while operating, which made me feel somewhat uneasy during my stay. I believe this is an area that could use some attention to ensure guests feel completely comfortable.
