The property had a peaceful, relaxing ambience. It was quiet at night, and we could open the balcony door for fresh air, which made the stay even more enjoyable. The on-site restaurant offers a beautiful view and live music, which added a nice touch to the evening.

The main pool and jacuzzi were packed with kids, but it was nice that they had an adults-only pool and jacuzzi as well. The restaurant food was just okay for me, though my child really enjoyed it. One downside: the urns were overflowing with empty cans, and more were scattered around. Also, valet service wasn’t offered — I was told to drive and find parking on my own, which felt a bit inconvenient.

Nice location and very good restaurant at a wonderful location (with heaters at night!). Great swimming pool as well as the tennis court. Big fitness area. The room was spacious and the beds were good.

There was almost no connection for calling and the phone at the room didn’t work. You have to leave the location, down the hill (2 miles) to do a phone call. The swimming pool for the kids is VERY LOUD. There is also a swimming pool for adults only (18+) but difficult if you have children of 16 and 17 years old, and too bad that a young internal had to make a remark for that!

Great location, cozy atmosphere

The room was clean and quiet. But it wasn't ready when we got there. We had to wait an hour, and we weren't there because we had an event to go to and we were late. But the staff did put our bags in our room that we left at the front desk.

Our room wasn't ready when we arrived. They said it was ready at 4 pm and we got there after 4 and it still wasn't ready. I understand they said they were short staffed but when the front desk wanted to offer us a bottle of wine for the inconveniences, when she went to ask they said no because we didn't book our room with Expedia. So instead I got a coupon for a free appetizer at the restaurant we couldn't eat at.

Our bathroom , though modern (glassdoors instead of shower curtains), was quite small, even though it was a better room category There was only one bath robe in the room although it was booked for three people Dinner: table inside - it was quite dark, no lights on the table Place needs some more attention, for example the tables in the bar area look a bit tired

Beautiful complex, pool area is great. Without the car it is hard to reach.

Fitness area is open only till 8PM. I went there with my 7 year old kid, sign said under 16 it is not aloud to use equipment but in real life worker came and told it was forbidden for my kid to stay in gym room at all. So i couldnt do workout at all.

The hotel is in a great location, the restaurant terrace has a wonderful view. We loved the nature trails around the hotel and the close proximity to the redwood forests. The restaurant serves great meals and the bar and wait staff were very friendly and welcoming. Hotel rooms are generous and comfy bed

I don’t like having to make a special request to get the room made up

Many troops face into the woods, allowing for views of birds, deer, etc. loved that there were a variety of spaces all over the property where people could spend time. Firepits, poolside, a lovely big room with a fireplace and cozy chairs in the main lodge.

Our room was a bit worn out. Lots of paint chips and marks on the walls, for example. However the bed was very comfortable.

It was chill, calm and relaxing. Food was good, swimming pool is really nice and the cocktails available there is a real plus. It makes it even more "vacation"

I think it was too pricy for what we got. the room was clean and not small but it was on the side (5min walk from the main entrance etc.) I was expecting more for ~$500 a night!

We have stayed here several times and always enjoy the ambiance and amenities.

We had to park quite a distance from our room due to the influx of restaurant traffic. Designated parking for hotel guests should be considered.
