Room was clean and so was the shower, although I did not use it. Breakfast was great, enjoyed the waffle maker and staff was close by to help direct guests who had questions. Everything was very clean and organized where breakfast area was stationed. Staff member brought a new room key when I was unable to go back to the office (Hands full of luggage from the car and 2 small children)

Refrigerator was off or malfunctioning-leftover food from dinner spoiled overnight. Both of the room keys given to me did not work for my room-staff member verified that room was correct and was able to bring me new keys when I was unable to come down but I did have to ask firmly. TV reception was terrible and kept glitching with audio going in and out or screen freezing. Expected to be much closer to the beach-I should have done more research but for the price and booked in advance, expected a closer location. Called the morning prior to my arrival to request a room close to a family member on a separate reservation- and she called later that morning as well, but whenever we checked in, I was told that they had no notation of it and could not accommodate with the same building

Comfortable beds, pillows, blankets and sheets. Great location within waking distance to restaurants, shops and the beach. Beautifully landscaped grounds that were well kept and gave a secluded feel. Friendly prompt staff. The room was very clean.

The shampoo and conditioner were of poor quality and made our hair feel terrible. Our door didn't close properly without great force to ensure proper clicking of the lock. The room was small for the price. The toilet made whining noises throughout the night when not in use.

Nice and spacious rooms. Cute little balcony for upstairs room (yes, it's tiny, but it's there). Pool is small but it is heated. Very quiet area and surroundings. Nice shower. Plenty of parking. Lovely little area right near hotel (Soquel) that has some great small restaurants.

Signage could have been better for getting upstairs. Pictures make pool look much larger than it is, and when there's a lot of people with small kids there, it can be really crowded.

I personally like the town of Capitola, it feels so relaxing. The location of the hotel is great, it is close to a supermarket and CVS and even a small park! It was great! The front desk lady was so nice, she basically introduced all things we need to know about our staying and even offered new pool towers for us if we would like to play in pool. Great experience!

Breakfast was great, but perhaps more selections will be even better!

It was located in the quiet part of Capitola… it was a great walk to the beach town… an easy 20 minutes walking! Not having to deal with the parking and paying for it there in the town!

None that we cannot think of. We understand it’s an old structured building… very well kept… we are not smokers… we like that you designed a spot for smokers far enough so that we’re not bothered by the smokers…

Location was nice and quiet. Not a bad walk to Capitola Main Street for adults. Room was clean and spacious and bathrooms too.

I wish I knew our room was facing the parking lot. I am pretty sure it’s not the room a chose on booking. Not sure. Check in was a bit weird and not helpful I feel like the room was over priced for the location of the hotel and for the parking lot view

Booked King Bed room, not sure if all rooms have a balcony but ours shared a balcony with an adjacent room the balcony was split down the middle by a wall for privacy. Very clean room this is my main concern when staying anywhere and I found no bedbugs/signs of bedbugs, also the walls of our room and bathroom were very clean There is a complimentary breakfast at 7-10 includes: make your own waffles, cereal, yogurt, toast, beverages and among other things. This was definitely one of the better complimentary breakfasts I've had, the waffle batter is unreasonably nice. there is a pool as well but not open as it is winter. Price was not too bad, room+feed was ~125.00

The ice and Vending machines are located outside of the room buildings this was somewhat inconvenient as we stayed in a second floor room.

Location was good you can walk to grocery store and a few restaurants, breakfast was ok.

The interior walking to room could definitely use cleaning and paint some up keeping, would prefer to have room key card lock in door going into interior to walk to room would feel safer that way, room door had big gap so we put a chair tilted against it fwould r safety.

Amazing place. We were supposed to stay for one night but stayed for two. Room was excellent, bed comfy and the staff were helpful. Close to really cheap laundrette, do it yourself or leave it. We got a stack washed, dried and folded for $20.00. Coffee over the road, Petes from memory. Capitola was a gem of a surprise and we will definitely be back.

Front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The location was convenient. Groceries, coffee and Gayle's bakery were walkable. Capitola Village and beach were less than a mile away. There is a Laundromat a stones throw away as well.

No elevator but that wasn't such a big deal. Breakfast was just ok so we frequented that bakery.
