Room was clean and so was the shower, although I did not use it. Breakfast was great, enjoyed the waffle maker and staff was close by to help direct guests who had questions. Everything was very clean and organized where breakfast area was stationed. Staff member brought a new room key when I was unable to go back to the office (Hands full of luggage from the car and 2 small children)

Refrigerator was off or malfunctioning-leftover food from dinner spoiled overnight. Both of the room keys given to me did not work for my room-staff member verified that room was correct and was able to bring me new keys when I was unable to come down but I did have to ask firmly. TV reception was terrible and kept glitching with audio going in and out or screen freezing. Expected to be much closer to the beach-I should have done more research but for the price and booked in advance, expected a closer location. Called the morning prior to my arrival to request a room close to a family member on a separate reservation- and she called later that morning as well, but whenever we checked in, I was told that they had no notation of it and could not accommodate with the same building

Comfortable beds, pillows, blankets and sheets. Great location within waking distance to restaurants, shops and the beach. Beautifully landscaped grounds that were well kept and gave a secluded feel. Friendly prompt staff. The room was very clean.

The shampoo and conditioner were of poor quality and made our hair feel terrible. Our door didn't close properly without great force to ensure proper clicking of the lock. The room was small for the price. The toilet made whining noises throughout the night when not in use.

Booked King Bed room, not sure if all rooms have a balcony but ours shared a balcony with an adjacent room the balcony was split down the middle by a wall for privacy. Very clean room this is my main concern when staying anywhere and I found no bedbugs/signs of bedbugs, also the walls of our room and bathroom were very clean There is a complimentary breakfast at 7-10 includes: make your own waffles, cereal, yogurt, toast, beverages and among other things. This was definitely one of the better complimentary breakfasts I've had, the waffle batter is unreasonably nice. there is a pool as well but not open as it is winter. Price was not too bad, room+feed was ~125.00

The ice and Vending machines are located outside of the room buildings this was somewhat inconvenient as we stayed in a second floor room.

We came in from San Francisco late at night around 10:45pm. But we got checked into our room about 2:30 pm. We got checked in a little early. But it gave us plenty of time to travel to San Francisco to see the Giants play baseball. When we got in it was very quiet. Everyone was already probably asleep. When we got to our room we were very quiet. So that we didn’t disturb anyone’s sleep.

There wasn’t anything we didn’t like about the property.

Very friendly reception staff. Good size room. Small balcony. Pool looked good but was too cold to get in unfortunately. Good for highway access and walking into Capitola. Breakfast ok but too much disposable plastic etc.

The people below smoking on their balcony meant we had to keep our door closed. Too much disposable plastic and quite a small breakfast choice.

All at the highest level. Receptionist kind and attentive. Pool and room are clean, mattresses are comfortable. There are all necessary things; coffee maker, microwave, safe for storing personal belongings, iron with ironing board, hair dryer. I was pleased that the refrigerator and air conditioner work silently. Bed linen and towels of dazzling whiteness. The breakfast had enough variety of food including fruit and yogurt.

Only one lamp, which was in the wardrobe, did not work, but without it, everything was also visible if other lamps were turned on.

Basic continental breakfast offering waffles, muffins, yogurt, cereal, fresh fruit, coffee and juices. The room was very clean and the staff was great. The beds are very comfortable. The hotel is in a quiet area but yet near town for anything you should need. Great place and we look forward to staying again sometime.

Some type of protein would be a great added addition for breakfast. It was not good for a diabetic guest.

I was pleasantly surprised by the price at such a popular destination, and, on Labor Day weekend. I was able to book one night on Sunday. I defaulted to looking for a hotel since Airbnbs required a 3-night stay, and $500-$1000 a night.

It was too far from the beach to walk and so had to drive and deal with parking, but the price, cleanliness and good breakfast options made it worth it.

Easy check-in, friendly staff, free parking, fridge and microwave in room. Everything worked. The facility also provided complimentary continental breakfast that included pastries, waffles, yogurt, coffee, juice, etc.

Breakfast was continental, which is better than nothing, but some sort of protein would have been nice. Like just hard boiled eggs.

Very comfortable bed/bedding. Yummy waffle and yogurt for breakfast. Microwave, refrigerator, and coffee maker available in my room. Peets Coffee down the street for specialty coffee drinks.

The beach wasn't too far away, but I usually stay closer to the beach when I visit Capitola. I was only in town for 1 night but I would definitely consider using this property in the future.
