Fairfield is one of the best chains in the Marriott portfolio. It does provide great service, has very useful locations and serves one of the best breakfasts among US hotels I tried. Sebastopol Fairfield has been no different. Conveniently located, easy to access, plenty of parking space, allows early check-in, coffee & tea available in the lobby all the time (love it!), room has been spacious with separate living area and gigantic TV set (smart TV!), nice couch and separate bedroom with comfy bed and another smart TV!

Bathroom was a bit outdated and could use some renovation. There were traces of mold at the ceiling. But overall it was clean and provided what I needed.

We thought we'd stay at Bodega Bay where they made The Birds.... but we didn't find anywhere available there so ended up here at Sebastopol. What a great find! We decided to stay 2 nights. Great rooms, parking, really fabulous team members. Would recommend and stay again!

The PILLOWS!! We love to stay here for a nice budget friendly option. It has all you need; comfortable beds, clean, nice little breakfast, gym room and a pretty well maintained pool area. It is close to the Barlow, which we love, but also plenty of food options on the same street. The pillows are the best part! Will be purchasing some for home.

I felt bad for how short staffed they are so the check in wait was very long, 30 min. The staff are doing their best, there just isn’t any wiggle room in their schedule to handle emergent episodes.

The folks working the registration desk were very friendly.

Room 207 does not have a working phone line asked for a new one was finally given one the following day after going down and asking again for it. Then I took the phone to my room myself and hooked it up it still didn’t work so the main port needs checked. All rooms should have a working landline in case there is an emergency. Then put TV didn’t work either. And the hot tub was incredibly HOT! Like needs to be turned down a bit. When o was there theee people came other then myself to get in and it was to hot for all of us. And one couple said it was like that the night before as well.

The location and the pool and the breakfast.

Nearly the whole hotel was noisy: many rooms off the echoey atrium could hear the conversation in the central hotel lobby. The front rooms were noisy from highway traffic until 11pm. The back rooms on the ground level were noisy from exit doors to the parking and the pool slamming until 11pm. Only a few rooms have been designed to be acceptably quiet.

Laundry, breakfast and beds were all great. Staff was helpful most of our stay.

You have to go get cash to get quarters for laundry. One of the breakfast room staff was impatient and nearly knocked my wife over trying to get around her. It was more than one incident in a short time down there. She even got out of his way to have him do it again when she went for coffee. We left without getting much to eat.

This is an affordable option in Sebastopol with good amenities.

The shower faucet was leaky and dripped the whole time I was there, which was an annoying noise. The bathroom sink drained very slowly. These plumbing issues were my only complaint in that they should have been identified and fixed.

We have stayed here before and will again. It is a nice, comfortable place that seems to do everything right.

The fixtures in the shower need adjustment or perhaps replacing.

It seemed like an older building, but that was nice because the rooms have high ceilings as a result. The facilities were well maintained. It was a pleasant stay. I’d come back. The complimentary DIY waffles were bomb.
