close to town (walking distance)

when I booked it stated parking was included but when we arrived it was valet only and they put a hold on my card for the full amount plus $300. I was not aware of that when booking

Loved this hotel. Sebastian in the Valet team was very helpful and nice. Andrea delivered complementary champagne and chocolates covered strawberries since it was my husband and I’s birthday weekend. This lovely gift was sent by Inkar who also gave us a free room upgrade. They were all absolutely wonderful. We will definitely be back.

We accidentally backed into our parking spot. Didn’t read a small sign that said no backing in due to our excitement upon arrival and got charged a $35 fee which is far too much for such a minor issue.

Big and spacious room, clean bathroom, decent wifi, comfy bed and pillows. The staff is great, the room was spotless clean every day, and the valet parking guys deserve special mention. Really great food options around the hotel for both breakfast and dinner. In fact I would not get the hotel breakfast but eat in one of the many breakfast joints around the block.

1) Breakfast: it is not served by the hotel but by a 3rd party restaurant at the lobby, not a buffet but a-la-carte. We were a bit confused because we had breakfast included and things were not clear from the get go. 2) Bathroom: it looked like they started renovation but had to cut costs. The room was beautiful but the bathroom looked unfinished. It was not comfortable, showering wasn't great.

Great location for Sarasota down town . Staff could not do more to assist with our stay. John the hotel shuttle bus driver made getting around easy and did a great job taking and collecting us from the beach . Great roof top bar and pool facility . Would certainly stay there again .

Nothing . Everything fine . You have the choice of using the concierge service to park your car or can do so yourself with the public car park next door to the hotel

Although every one was super friendly and nice .. I ate breakfast 3 x eggs were good bacon rubbery bagel cold. Avocado toast was not toasted and was not spread but chunk on top…pancakes rubbery … Did eat at the roof top. Drinks amazing burger delicious … both Matt’s bar and waiter super nice.

Breakfast food serve hot and coffe stronger. The restaurant was clean service was perfect just a bit more help in the breakfast food.

Valet parking charges were higher than booking.com advised by email a couple of days prior to stay Rooms were noisy - probably due to way hotel was constructed (had lots of noise from room opposite side of the corridor)

ALL Staff very friendly and accommodating. The shuttle service, beach chairs, towels and bikes included with stay made for an un-encumbered stay. The breakfast we had included was hearty and selections interesting.

Upon making reservations , the various sites I explored had inconsistent information about Art Ovation in terms of the amenities.

The room was clean and spacious. We were there on a getaway for our 35 Anniversary it was an awesome surprise to find a bottle of champaign and chocolate covered strawberries in our room as a gift from Andre Suthely & Muheal Guto , your staff at the Art Ovation , sorry for misspelling but could not make out last names , and our valet a young man who recommended a very nice place based on our food preference. The waiter at the roof top bar was also polite and made sure our food was hot and drinks were great.

We really enjoyed the rooftop bar. The friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. The location of the hotel is within walking distance of bars, restaurants, and shopping. Overall great experience. Would definitely return.

The overall experience was positive. Not sure that there was anything that I did not like or would upgrade.

The staff were really helpful. The rooftop pool was fabulous. The room was big and bright and well appointed. Bathroom had a great shower with Milton brown products.

The sink tap was a bit powerful and would spray out unless you were very careful. The bar area is too cold!! The air con is over efficient
