Hotel was in a great location and was very comfortable. Suite we were in was awesome. Staff were okay not as professional as we experienced in other IHG locations during our multi-state travel. Unfortunately they could not provide an extra day in the suite we were in and we had to move to another room not so awesome for 1 day.

Staff not organized - we asked for the extra day - days before we arrived and we received no response to our message through booking.com. We called to again ask to extend 1 day on our way there and were told to ask when we arrived. We asked when we arrived and were told they had a room, did not know what room, so it would be okay. We received many txt msgs and phone calls frantically reminding us to vacate the room we were in but they did not know when or where we would be even though they took our payment. Talk about feeling pushed aside is an understatement. Will NOT be staying at this location again when we visit next year!

Breakfast was wonderful. The breakfast staff was friendly, helpful and attentive. They provided a clean space and all food items and needs were fully stocked. The attendants passing out fruit cups and especially watermelon (to help with replenishing fluids during high heat outside) was a lovely touch. Thank you! The rooms were nice with lots of storage options and great lighting. Beds were comfortable and the blinds on the windows keep the sun completely blocked. They supplied lots more coffee pods than most hotels, too! Towels were plush and smelled great. We loved the Dove products in the bathrooms, too. The hotel provided beach chairs, wagons, floats and toys for use at both the beach and the in site indoor pool. The indoor pool was nice because there were large roll up doors that provided the ability lie in the sun near the pool, too. Perfect for parents wanted to watch the kids in the pool while getting a tan. :) Really a great idea!

I only saw a need for more storage on the grounds due to ongoing construction of a new restaurant on site. This did not bother me as the tools and materials were kept out of the way in unused or rarely used areas under the stairs. Many attempts seem to be made to keep this issue under control. I did not let this deter me from staying here because none of this was in my way. They are improving the hotel even more!

From the original booking to the stay, everything was superb. I need a ground floor or near the elevator room - quick response confirming that was done. The room was right in front of the little elevator hallway - which also had 2 chairs while you were waiting. The pool was cool and clean. The breakfast was just a quality as a restaurant - without having to leave. The location was fantastic. We were able to walk to everything we wanted to go to - restaurants, fishing pier, beach and Publix. This was one the best - if not the best - hotel we have stayed at. Have already recommend with family and friends if they ever visit the area.

There was nothing we did not like. Everything was great - they even had toothbrushes because we forgot to bring them.

Very well-maintained hotel. From the arrival the receptionist was very well informed of the tours in St Augustine and gave us some good directions. The owner and his wife were at the property at breakfast helping and talking to the guests and socializing trying to reach everyone and making sure they are well accommodated. We have never seen a treat of this level and such care. Inside pool with warm water. We caught a rainy day; the covered pool helped us having some good time with our kids. Everyone was very pleasant smiley and friendly. Delicious rich breakfast. 1 min walk to the beach, a lot of surfers. Strongly recommend a longer stay to soak in the good vibes that come from the management to the last person from the staff. Big Thank You Mr Farid.

Water pressure.

Your breakfast was outstanding! There was a variety of food options so a guest was bound to find something he or she wanted to eat. I enjoyed a cinnamon bun and pancakes in particular since I do not eat those food choices regularly. Very tasty! The kitchen staff did a good job replenishing stations and were friendly, At the customer service desk I was treated well by Jackie and appreciated her sincere helpfulness. She is am invaluable hostess due to to both her professionalism and warmth. The staff in every department was cordial and helpful.

My room was somewhat small which was okay, However, I was cold; the room's heating and AC need to be checked out by maintenance. Luckily, housekeeping gave me an extra duvet for sleep upon my request. This seems trivial, but having done some design background, I felt that the room paint color to be drab.

The hotel is in a great location, walking distance to a beach, restaurant, and a Publix supermarket. I can not say enough about the front desk staff. The effortless check-in, things to do, and places to eat recommendations, friendliness, and more. The kitchen crew was very welcoming and accommodating. The housekeeping staff were upbeat and always with a smile. They provided items I needed immediately.

I liked it all because it is a wonderful place to stay. But I wish they had a separate lounge area in the main lobby. Also, I was a bit disappointed that the heated pool was not working during my stay. But things happen. I hope in it is in working condition for my next stay. I did notice the microwave door had very visible fingerprints, and the inside of the fridge had a little bit of rust buildup. This can be remedied with a little more attention to clean-up and some appliance care.

The breakfast had a great variety. The breakfast staff are amazing. They made the experience even better. Great location, close to everything. The coffee shop downstairs is the best! The room was great! Good size, clean, smelled great and the a/c was on so the room wasn't stuffy and hot upon check in. Will definitely stay again.

It's hard to think of something I didn't like. Maybe keep a set of sheets, blanket, extra pillow in the rooms with sofa beds. I just asked for a set and of course they gave me one but that's the only suggestion I can think of because everything was amazing.

I thought check-in was at 3:00 so the last time that we stayed at this hotel they let us check in an hour early so we arrived at 2:00 thinking I could check in an hour early they informed me that check in went until 4:00 so we waited outside by the coffee shop for 2 hours the ring still wasn't ready so they changed our room but when we checked in the lady at the desk said if it comes available early she would call me when I went and checked after an hour and a half she was gone for the day so the new lady at the desk didn't know anything about me waiting outside the new lady at the desk made me wait till 4:00 then found me another room that had been vacant so we set out there all that time did not appreciate that other than that everything was excellent we love this hotel hopefully next time the check-in experience will be better

If you want a quiet beach town experience, this is the hotel for you. Good restaurants, bars, a fishing pier and the beach are all within walking distance. The hotel provides beach chairs and umbrellas on loan free of charge. I've stayed at several Holiday Inn Express hotels but this one has the best breakfast. The gentleman running the breakfast area made sure everyone was happy and passed around fresh fruit cups in addition to the many available food items. The room was very comfortable and clean, and the staff was very helpful.

This hotel has the best breakfast with the biggest variety I have had at any hotel in YEARS and we travel quite a bit. Everything was great here. Much better to stay here than in crowded, noisy St. Augustine. This is not far away and is very restful and relaxing and steps away from the ocean. The owner walks around at breakfast giving out fresh fruit cut up in small containers! The hotel is new/updated and beds very comfortable. The staff is friendly and welcoming also. You won't regret your time here.
