Retro, close to the beach, close to restaurants, the pier, Publix. The people at the hotel are helpful and attentive.

Our room had two queen size beds in two different rooms, the ac was only in one of the rooms. It was fine because the weather was beautiful, but in the middle of summer it may be harder for both rooms to stay cool.

I love a motel, and this didn't disappoint. It's a total gem in Vilano beach, and even though there's no Ocean View it's very close. The retro feel and decor was just awesome. If you're looking for luxury and modern amenities this is not the place for you, but if you want to visit a classic, try out the magic Beach motel! The air conditioning, television, shower all worked. Our suite had a very tiny and oddly stalked kitchen. The thing it was lacking was Linens and plates and Cutlery. You have to bring your own. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. There's a grocery store right across the street and a great little diner called the Surfside kitchen.

We liked this sweet little Motel and it's location so much that we booked an extra two days.

We love the location and such a short walk to the beach. We have stayed here 3-4 years in a row now. We did not book in time to get the room we normally book, but still had a great stay. The staff is always super polite and helpful. The floors are tile, not carpet, which we love.

This year the room was not quite as clean as previous years. There was some mold and dirt in the shower. The pool was not working this year, but the management did give us a partial refund, since this was not what we were expecting, our kids were looking forward to the pool and we did not get to use it any of the days we stayed.

Room could have been cleaner. Lots of hairs in the bathroom, and even in the bedding. I booked online, opting to pay at arrival. But when I arrived, they had already charged my card. My boyfriend was going to pay for it on his card, but they did not allow that, saying that it had already been charged to my card, and there was nothing they could do. If I wanted it charged on that card, I would have opted to pay ahead. So, I didn’t think that was very good customer service. And while the exterior of the building is adorable, the rooms themselves need a serious update! But you really can’t beat the location - walk right out your door to the beach! Overall, it was a decent day, but I might book somewhere else, along the strip, next time.

Absolutely love how the history sticks to this hotel and also while staying, a film crew was there filming a movie which I am excited to see it! Love how you can literally walk to the grocery store and other little shops ❤️ Then you have a beach and pool which is amazing! Showers are perfect!! Hot water and pressure so refreshing! Beds are wonderful bathroom and cleanliness. The building does need a TLC and few fixing but it's absolutely awesome to stay here we practically live there we go to this hotel so much!

Our ac was leaking inside the room but the gentleman fixed it pretty quickly. I don't like the fact of other tenants staying there and complaining about noise , I mean you literally live on a beach for a week for vacation or just staying your going to hear a lot of noises and loud laughter and such so you might not want to stay here if you expect someone to be quiet it's not going to work just don't stay. You live by a beach and a few bars near buy people will be loud.

The motel itself was very cute and a great stay overall. The beds were comfy and the sheets/towels were very clean. Stayed in a room with a kitchenette and it was in its own separate room with a little table and chairs, which was very nice. And it's right by the beach. The staff was hugely helpful and very nice, as well. Such a pleasant stay.

The motel itself is older, which was fine, but there was some collected dust in the window sills and some crumbs left around the handle of the mini fridge in the kitchenette. If I had to nitpick, this would be the only thing I could say about the facility. Otherwise, everything was excellent.

The property was very cleaned, the room was cleaned and smelled really good. It was easy to find. Walking distance from Publix and the ocean. Dog friendly ($25 fee/day, excepted and understandable).

The only recommendations I have is to perhaps provide a pair of softer pillows. The bed brought 4 pillows and all were hard which caused some neck pain and headache. And the other thing would be a mat or rug at the inside entrance of the room so we have a dry place to stand and remove muddy wet or sandy wet shoes prior to walking into the rest of the room since it is all tile. Otherwise it was pretty good 😊

It was close to the beach and fishing pier My fiancee and explored the area. The beach was steps away which was nice. The Publix supermarket steps away also. The Staff upon check in Ashley I think her name was very nice ...overall the fishing pier was ok but NO CATCH We will give it another try in the future because it's proximity to the beach , fishing pier n St Augustine is absolutely a place to see.

I rented the room with the spa to unwind with a glass of wine after a 4 hour drive which did not happen. The spa was not working. After a phone call and assistance from front desk person it still did not work. I was disappointed n only refunded 12 dollars for the inconvenience UNBELIEVABLE.

Location was perfect. It's a retro motel. Very quaint

The dresser needed a little bit of cleaning inside Could use a lamp.
