considering the time of the year it was a good deal.

Everything was wonderful! Just before getting there we had a terrible experience at the Sheraton down the road and my family and I packed up and checked out the same day we checked in .. in the middle of the night we were driving down the road with our elderly mother and our two children and ran into the Comfort Suites. Anthony at the front desk made our terrible night into the best night ever with his exceptional hospitality and reassurance that our stay will be comfortable and our family will sleep comfortably in a nice clean room. The room was beautifully remodeled and decorated. Complimentary breakfast every morning. The price was unbeatable. Our family was more than comfortable there and we would come back in a heartbeat. Anthony made us feel welcomed and put our mind at ease when it came to our families needs.

The hotel is under renovation but it didn't have an effect for our stay. You can see the vision of the updates and it will real nice once it is done. We appreciated the bag breakfast. Don't let the brown bag fool you, there is a great breakfast sandwhich, yogurt, apple and granola bar inside.

My immediate thoughts when turning on the road to the hotel, made me second-guess where we were staying. Understandably the hotel is under renovation and there are construction items in the parking lot but maybe trim some trees and cut back weeds. Try and make the parking lot feel unsafe.

The location was nice. Complimentary shuttle to the casino allowed me to let loose. The staff was awesome! Other than one older gentleman who I only seen once at the front desk when asking for forks, he was pretty short with us and didn't seem too happy. The breakfast tasted so good. Eggs were delicious.

I didn't like that the pool is heated year round. We're in Florida, none of us want to get into 85° water when it's already 90° out. I get it for the chilly months but at least shut it off when it gets hot out. Made the pool unusable for us and everybody else as we didn't see one person in the pool over the two night stay. There was ongoing construction but it didn't really cause an inconvenience for us.

I have been coming to this hotel every December for the past 5+ years. I must say, I was left impressed with the renovations (they were starting off when I was here last year). It looks completely different but the quality of staff there has not changed.

Minor gripe which isn’t a deal breaker – it would be nice for the outer renovations to be done outside of peak hours.

breakfast was ok. Make your own toast, waffle, etc. Nothing exceptional but adequate. Bed was comfortable and overall the hotel was clean. Coffeemaker was just ok so we got coffee downstairs. Shower had great water pressure, the best I've had anywhere.

The pool furniture was awful. Almost 99% of the chairs had straps missing. The pool was ice cold. For what you pay, they should have proper pool furniture and the pool should be heated. Was not very happy about that. There was also a big leak around the pool pipes in the back which was 'fixed' the next day but it was just wasting water.

Great location for attending our concert.

Under renovation. Staff was not particularly interested in their customers. Given the state of the lobby and breakfast area, it would expect an expansion of the market area and more attention paid to the temporary breakfast options. It was also overpriced for the condition of the hotel. However, I’d probably try them again after the renovation is complete.

The rooms were redone beautifully and very comfortable.

We didn't like that. They weren't done with the remodel yet. It was a little unsettling while you're having your breakfast with a big black wall of what looked like hefty bags, but I'm sure they weren't for construction purposes, but maybe the whoever's doing the construction can step it up so it was not too much longer and I'm sure it'll be beautiful

Upon check in I was told that my reservation was cancelled due to Insufficient funds but when I reserved the room it says that I would pay when I get there I told her that I put money on the card after reservation to pay once I get there there was a young lady in training with a supervisor so after I gave her my infinite and swiped my card she said that they were having issues with the card machine and that because my card didn’t have a chip I had to manually enter my card info after I did and everything was good we went to th room and changed clothes and left @ about midnight I checked my phone and noticed that I had a couple missed calls so I called them to see what was needed I was told that my card didn’t go through so I immediately called the bank and checked all recent transactions and it showed that the amount was taken off by the hotel so then I called back and they said that the money didn’t go through on their end and I was saying that the money has been taken off the card and we went back and forth for at least an hour to the point that it totally ruined my family night and the trip because I was told that the money didn’t go through but yet the money was no longer available on my card I have stayed at this hotel plenty of times and never encountered bad customer service until this visit and I was really disappointed I would never recommend this hotel

Front desk Customer service

The couch in the living area is very uncomfortable, impossible to sleep on for an extra person. In addition to the uncomfortable ness, there was no extra bedding found for the couch in the closet. Only a thick winter cover was found. No bedsheets, no pillowcase. The room we were given first, the A/C didn't work properly. The room was too hot 🔥 in a florida climate. The management was very kind and moved us to another room.
