Staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and daily housekeeping did not disappoint. The breakfast buffet was ample. Fresh fruit, pancakes/ waffles / french toast, oatmeal, cereal, pastries, BACON, and several other options. We were full every morning...although an omelet station would be nice 😉. 2 blocks from the riverwalk!!! All in all it was just as expected. The view from the 15th floor was a perk!

No microwave in room. Laundry only on 4th floor. 2 washers 2 dryers. Coffee DISAPPEARS WITH BREAKFAST!! All day coffee would be great but AT LEAST UNTIL CHECKOUT should be standard. $40/day valet.... $25 self parking...PER ENTRY. Cost of parking has gotten ridiculous everywhere but I digress....

I had a pleasant stay at this beautiful and comfortable hotel. The location is excellent and close to everything. I would like to sincerely thank Cathy, the manager, and the kind, slim young lady with glasses for their great assistance in helping me locate a bag that contained gifts of American and Swiss chocolate. To be fair, Cathy encouraged me to check the contents of the bag once it was found, but it was my mistake that I didn’t do so at the time. Later, I noticed that two boxes of chocolate were missing. It seems they might have been taken during the room cleaning process, possibly by one of the housekeeping staff—perhaps the person with darker skin. I hold no grudge and sincerely forgive the action. Had they simply asked, I would have gladly given them some. That said, I do hope the hotel takes greater care in the future to protect guests’ belongings, to ensure the exceptional experience remains complete in every aspect. Thank you again for everything.

the breakfast options were really good, healthy options avaliable, good selection for kids, easy to find, thank god for coffee!

Only two complaints, Vallet parking only was something I have never encountered, but its understandable as there is no parking anywhere in downtown Tampa. The other complaint would be that the building was not labeled in a way that it was easy to find. The Hyatt logo is just a litttle H from the street as you drive in, the attached Starbucks however has huge signage. I missed the turn a couple of times trying to find the hotel on the first couple passes.

The decor was beautiful! The room was supplied with amenities, comfortable beds, loved the luggage racks attached to the wall and was very impressed with the security of having to use your room card to gain access to each floor on the elevator. The location was excellent...able to walk to most places!! The staff was very helpful and pleasant. The valet parking staff were excellent!! Loved not having the hassle of finding a parking space and only waited maybe 7 minutes while the staff retrieved my car at checkout. The breakfast was amazing!!! Loved the fruit...so tasty! Had dinner in the restaurant and my fish was amazing!! Loved the grouper appetite!

I cannot think of one thing that I didn't like.

Breakfast was awesome! Had tremendous variety and all good quality (pastries, fruit, etc.) Liked the walk-in shower. Room was sufficiently spacious (double queen) for 4 adults. Valet parking service was very efficient. Price was more than what I was told on the phone 2 days prior to arrival.

Lounge not open late enough. Returned right after an event at the Amalie Arena and the lounge was already closing (11 pm) Uncomfortably cold in the lobby/ lounge/restaurant area. No concierge service available. As a 1st time visitor to Tampa, was looking for day time activities nearby and good restaurant suggestions. Didn't find either nearby. The Riverwalk was a big disappointment.

I love the location, the cleanliness, and it has everything you need in one location...valet, a bar, a great restaurant, great breakfast and a Starbucks! I never had to the leave the hotel other than to take care of my personal reasons for being there. When I was done, I couldn't wait to come back. Also, there is a beautiful deck with a fireplace to relax outside. I will definitely come back again.

There was nothing I didn't like. The first time I stayed here I didn't want to pay for the parking, but then I got over it when I saw how fast they were at retrieving my vehicle, and that all the other parking places are charging the same thing, but the staff is nice and professional.

We wanted a different option for Gasparilla this year due to bad experiences at other hotels and we landed on the Hyatt Place. The location was good, a little more walking but not bad at all. The hotel was beautifully decorated and the room was comfortable. All of the elevators worked well and the staff was friendly. Considering how busy Gasparilla weekend is, they did a great job accommodating the crowd. The Starbucks downstairs was also a bonus!

The general manager asked us to pay for wristbands for REGISTERED GUESTS. He said that each room was only allowed four wristbands but we booked the room for six. We were asked to pay for our fifth and sixth registered guests to enter and exit the hotel. This is a specific issue for Gasparilla but unfair nonetheless. They should not accept bookings for six if you will not allow them in and out of the building *eyeroll*. Also, they do not accommodate large trucks so we had to park in a pay-to-park lot a block away where our truck ultimately was hit (and run) at some point. Just a note for other travelers in trucks. And lastly, we were only given three bath towels for six people.

Rooms were great, staff accommodating, the general decor was unique and great. Always appreciate a pull out couch in a room because my toddlers roll off the tall beds a lot.

Pillows are a bit odd? Sort of small and a bit hard/lumpy. We requested a thicker blanket for the sofa bed for the kids but it was forgotten? Rooftop pool was really warm which I know is a challenge but I've experienced lots of cooled down Florida pools? Still fun tho!

Pool was small but its a nice area. So many things are close by and within walking distance. The room had a great view and was very clean. Overall really good experience.

Tough to find seating for breakfast Also the valet process was a nightmare! We were waiting with 40+ (I counted) other people for over 40 minutes for our car. Several people said that the valet text service had told them there was no one available to get their car. Luckily we had nowhere pressing to be but there were plenty of upset people out there and the crowd kept getting bigger somehow. There needs to be an option for getting your own car if the valet service can't keep up. People had flights to catch etc...

Very clean, close to venue we needed to be near.

The staff at the front desk. We arrived Friday at 5:45 pm check in is at 4 pm. She said the room was clean but hadn’t been inspected yet so we couldn’t get in. I said then that means the room isn’t ready! She replied, yes it is. I said if it was ready I would have keys. I said to her, if you were me and couldn’t get in the room and get ready for the event we were attending would you consider the room ready? She responded that she understood but that the room was ready. It’s laughable! I paid over $500 for a room that wasn’t available to my family until approximately 2 hours after the stated check-in time. The hotel itself was comfortable and clean.
