Checked in the day before our cruise. Only 0.2 miles from the port, and they have a shuttle, which was easy and speedy and organized. Location was great, we walked around a couple of blocks close to the Hilton. Many shops, bars and great food that day and had a great time. For cruising out of Tampa, go the day before (which is always smart anyway) and enjoy a day in downtown Tampa.

The security was very good with a hotel, having to use your room key to get into the building as well as using the elevator. Need room key for parking garage to get out. Remember to keep your room key to get out of the parking lot, especially on the day you check out. It was also nice to have a hot breakfast each day, and the staff providing the breakfast was top notch.

There is a discount I was unaware of when I booked online. If you are traveling to meet family or friends in Tampa, you get a 20% discount. I found this out on the day I arrived, but the front desk would not give me the discount. I was there to see my daughter who lives across the street. That was a bit disappointing that they would not apply the discount to our room. The staff was able to get my family also visiting close to one another on the same floor. That part was nice.

I really liked staying here. It was very convenient for the Riverside walk and not far from the tram/trolley stop to Ybor City. I was here for a cruise and the hotel laid on a free bus service. You could walk to the terminal, but why get all sweaty and sticky when you can wait in the air conditioned lobby? It's a bit of a track walking to Downtown, so taking the tram is the easiest, if not the quickest, when you don't have your own wheels. Not a huge choice of restaurants near by but Sparkman Wharf is but a 10-minute on foot where you can find some interest street food. The pool looked very nice, although I didn't get a chance to use it. The breakfast wasn't bad, either

I thought there was too much disposible cutlery used at breakfast and I am not sure how much is recycled really. After the first day, I took my own mug and metal cutlery from the apartment down to breakfast.

Accommodations for 6 adults coming off a cruise.

Had issues with our toilet not flushing properly, it was resolved after a couple visits from maintenance. Carpets were wet from elevator hallway to our door, otherwise we had no issues. Very accommodating other than we wanted to watch our son play hockey in Michigan but we couldn’t connect or phone to any tvs to mirror or stream the game. Only thing to make things better is if they offered hotel to airport transportation for free. Front desk did arrange taxi transportation for us but was double what we paid the weekend before.

We celebrated our 20-yr Anniversary at this hotel for 1 night before boarding Royal Caribbean Cruise. The staff was exceptional. Upgraded to 10th floor with a bottle of Champagne, Chocolates & a nice card. Location perfect. 3-minute drive to Cruise Terminal. 10-minute drive to the awesome U-le-le district. Thank you.

The location was so convenient for food, shopping and proximity to the cruise port. Every member of the staff I had the pleasure of talking to was so kind, polite, courteous and helpful if needed. The room was very clean, well layed out and everything worked. The breakfast was a big bonus. This was the beginning of my vacation I would look forward to! Thank you!

The sidewalk outside the window of the breakfast area was littered with trash from passersby the previous night.

It was a great experience and the staff were very attentive. I especially wanted to call out two of the front desk staff that provided excellent customer service. A young lady, Captain (?) and Jason! The Hotel should be proud of having them on staff. Having a convenient parking spot at the Hotel was one of the reasons we picked this hotel.

Everything was clean, organized and staff was friendly. Breakfast was great Sunday and Monday there were different options. Pool had a very nice view and was not freezing thankfully and the rooms were kept nice and clean. They had bowls, cups, mugs and even utensils if needed.

The parking was all little uncomfortable to get in and out of that was the only negative it was all due to the location of the hotel

The parking garage is extremely convenient for cruisers. They have a shuttle that is on demand and fast and easy to use. It was in a quiet, easy to maneuver part of town. Although beaches were not walkable everything was easy to drive to.

The housekeeping staff was literally standing at my door and I needed 2 towels and 2 bath cloths. She told me no. I am sure there was a language barrier but I showed her what I needed and she emphatically said No, shook her head and used her hand to swipe across her neck the universal “no” symbol. It was quite odd, and also inconvenient as I had to go in and call the front desk and wait for someone to give them to me while she was across the hall and cart full of clean linens was parked at my door.

We loved that there was a mini kitchenette in the room! There was a REAL fridge with freezer. We were able to freeze our ice packs from travels for our breastmilk to have it stay frozen for our cruise. There’s a free cruise shuttle from the hotel to Tampa’s cruise port as well as free morning breakfast! Also I wanted to mention a microwave and dishes in the room. We were able to feed our kids late at night by heating up food. Included downstairs were 2 computers for use that had a PRINTER! Never seen that before and was thankful that was available as we needed to print some papers.
