We felt like we were at home. This would be the chosen place for us next time we come to Tampa! We absolutely loved it there! The rooms were clean, loved having a washer and dryer, loved the pool and the gym, amazing location. Staff were very nice!

The blow dryer in the room sent sparks into my hair and face. And the outlets in one of the bathrooms didn’t work. The property was made aware. They didn’t really do anything about it which was surprising.

I didn’t interact with the staff as much on this trip; however, they were always friendly and helpful when I did. The room was fully stocked with everything you need for your stay. The shower was fantastic - great water pressure, good hot water, and a huge (rain flow type) shower head. The AC was quiet and worked well to keep the room cool. And, absolutely perfect location if you have an event at Amalie Arena.

Finding parking for initial check in can be tricky. Not all rooms are well laid out (at least as far as walking around the bed). They don’t currently provide a cover sheet for the bed, which is a bit of an inconvenience for those of us who get hot while sleeping - I brought my own for this latest visit. :-)

The staff were phenomenal; from the first interaction at check in to the last interaction at check out, everyone was welcoming, friendly, and super helpful. The entire facility was clean and modern. The room was well laid out and fully functional to accommodate either a short or long stay. The bed was perfect, very comfortable - not too soft or too hard. The shower was also fantastic, offering an oversized shower head with great water pressure. Next time I travel to Tampa, I’ll absolutely stay here again!

There were two things that would have made this an even better experience for me, one the hotel can control and one they can’t. The one under their control is that they don’t currently provide a top sheet on the beds, which is essential for some of us who run hot while they sleep. I was told they are considering this for a future offering, so hopefully it gets implemented before the next time I visit. The other thing, that isn’t under their control, is the very confusing navigation of the surrounding streets. I ended up going around in circles a couple of times until I finally could stop and ask someone for directions. Again, they can’t control the second issue, I’m just calling it out for anyone else traveling down to the area.

The room is a little misleading when you look at the photos displayed. The room I stayed at is in some sort of co-living structure with a shared balcony and shared kitchen with 6 or 7 other rooms. Weird. Not necessarily bad, I just feel like it should be very clear in the pictures

Everything was just perfect. First off is the location - the property is very well located for all the local amenities, most walkable, and is super easy to travel around by car. The quality of the property and the room is exceptional, and super luxurious, I can't recommend this property enough. The staff are really friendly, very helpful and so accommodating, they couldn't do enough to help.

Location, comfort, very friendly and helpful staff. Walking distance to everything downtown. We enjoyed our stay! Definitely recommend, we would book it again. P.S.: My wife did not see any palmetto bugs 😊thank you!!!

If anything: a little lack of cleanliness, mostly caused by guests in the common kitchen area. Water pressure was low (but that seems to be a Florida thing). Thin walls & doors; could hear the neighbors and people in the hallway. Over all we had a great stay.

The pool was nice and not crowded. Lots of adults but no kids, our daughters wasn't too happy about there being no kids anywhere. It was nice to have a full kitchen so we could keep left overs and reheat them. Lots of good restaurants in the area. Not a very family friendly area

Kind of a confusing check in process with the parking. We did not know where to park at first. There was no area where we saw a valet service. Felt like an apartment more than a hotel. Once we figured everything out it was

Location, room, pool, and staff were all fantastic.

Was told via email to come to the front desk before entering parking garage but could not access due to closed street in front. Circled many times before sending my son to find the front door. Directions to roof pool not given; took a scenic detour to rooftop by accident before asking for directions from another guest. Could not find where breakfast would be served if it is. Coffee in room delicious but ruined by spoiled creamer.

ROOST Tampa is our favorite place to stay when attending concerts at Amalie Arena. It's a 5 minute walk (if that) and I don't risk getting lost after a few drinks. The staff are friendly and helpful. I never want to get out of the bed it's just so comfy! The room is equipped with everything you need to cook/clean should you wish to do so. We normally don't stay longer than two nights though I would love to be able to escape real life and thoroughly explore the area soon. I will certainly book ROOST Tampa again!!

Great location. Clean. Excellent amenities. Good value. Great vibe. Good option if you want to enjoy The Edition hotel without the cost. Only a short walk with good restaurants, shops and night life. The set up with the shared living room could be great for a group.

I loved there was a Christmas event being held that night but the street was blocked off where the instructions said to drop off bags and pick up the key. There was a ton of traffic and everyone checking in was confused and scrambling to figure out how to drop off and park. I had to park in the lot a block away and carry bags through the street. It worked out but I am laid back person. Check to see if there is a street event before arriving. Lastly. when staying in the shared living room space. #720. The walls between rooms are very thin so if you are a light sleeper you may have an issue
