Everything was fine, nothing to complain. I needed a good short-term location in downtown, and I got it. Good city view from the window, good swimming pool, a lot of restaurants and bars around. Stayed there twice and both times was satisfied. Good staff, let me in the room one hour before the check-in. Reasonable price for American standards.

I have read the reviews and I was quite sceptical to stay at this hotel. If you are at the same stage let me explain to you that this hotel is totally fine. Yes the rooms are outdated a little, but if you are staying for work, traveling alone or simple couple that doesn't care so much of the details you will be really happy you booked this place. Location is perfect, staff is very friendly, you get basic breakfast and coffee for free, hotel is secure so if that is what you need then ok. If you are looking for a fancy room, etc. off course you will be dissapointed, but hey, you didn't pay the price for it did you? :) I thank the nice lady from the reception again, it was a lovely stay.

"Old school" staff who value and respect their guests. Huuuuge room and bathroom, equipped with everything. My reservation did not include meals but I was oferred complimentary breakfast Location is perfect. Either waking distance for people like walking or few minutes from metro station Good value for money And in my opinion Barclay deserves at least one more star. Fully satisfied

The location was great …walking distance to everything. All the staff I interacted with we amazing. They seem to really like working at the hotel. Caleb at the front desk was amazing. Made sure the coffee was ready for an early riser each day I was there. Rooms were very clean.

The elevator needs updated or at the very least doors fixed. I saw it come too close to closing on people as the entered.

The location of the hotel and parking is perfect for exploring the city without having to drive everywhere. The staff were very friendly! With it being an old hotel it does come with a few quirks like the air conditioning in the room & not having a mini fridge but it was still a great value. We would definitely come back!

Location was great. Staff was helpful and pleasant and gave really good customer service. I think the manager’s name was Shay ? But she was great as well as the other staff. Parking was close and a good value. Had no parking issues. Older property but excellent value and what we expected.

The room was clean and safe and that was the most important thing to me. Simple and basic. No muss, no fuss. Good hot water for the shower. I applaud ownership on upgrading the lobby which I witnessed. Kudos to Onelius and the other female staffers who provided good service.

Location was great, the staff was friendly, and the lobby always had coffee. Minimal wait for the elevator during a very busy weekend. The hotel’s parking was close and they validated my parking at a great rate compared to what I would have paid to park otherwise.

My rate was a lot higher than my stay the previous year for the same event, with the staff friendliness being the only real improvement in that time.

Even though it was obvious they are remodeling it wasn't an issue..I felt safe clean and cared about by the staff.. I would stay there again..I saw some of the reviews from past patrons and feel they were a little harsh..

Simple clean room, beds were comfortable and the building was quiet.

Booking website indicates that parking is included with the price of the room, but staff stated that they will "validate" your parking for a discounted rate as compared to the parking garage up the street.
