Had my first Hyatt experience at this downtown Atlanta location. Location is perfect for tourists - it's within easy walking distance to major attractions like the Georgia Aquarium, World of Coca-Cola, and the College Football Hall of Fame. For those flying in, the MARTA station connecting to the airport is just a short walk away, which saved us money on transportation. I stayed in a King room with a sofa bed. The room came well-equipped with all the essentials: microwave, mini-fridge, hairdryer, and a TV with Chromecast capability (being able to stream YouTube from my phone was a nice touch). Practical room amenities worth noting: - Reliable WiFi - Comfortable king bed - Functional sofa bed for extra sleeping space - Clean bathroom with basic toiletries - Good amount of storage space For the price point and location in downtown Atlanta, this hotel offers good value. While not perfect, the minor issues didn't significantly impact my stay. I'd definitely consider booking here again on my next Atlanta trip.

The room was clean and well-maintained, but there were a few quirks worth mentioning. The main issue was the heater - it made quite a startling noise when cycling on and off, which did wake me up a couple times during the night. In the bathroom, the towel rack placement was a bit odd, positioned so close to the shower dispensers that the towels almost touched them. Water pressure wasn't stellar but manageable for showering.

Spacious. There was a sofa and the layout was nice. Breakfast was good. Location was good with the exception of some homeless people were nearby and they approached me when maps took my down Porter Place. Avoid walking down this road. There are safer options. I'd stay here again.

Upon arrival, the front desk staff was friendly and check-in was easy. Ou cr room very clean, spacious and the bed extremely comfortable. We stayed at the Hyatt Place since it was close to Emory Midtown and offered a 24 hour menu plus free breakfast & wifi.

One of the main reasons we picked the Hyatt Place was it offered a 24 hour menu plus a grab-n-go cold case with sandwiches & salads. The 1st night we were told the kitchen had to close due to a problem, the 2nd day/night still no food service and the only thing in the cold case was cheesecake & cookies. There is a restaurant next door we ordered from both nights, however, it was outrageously overpriced for what we ordered.

Great price. Very clean and comfy. Nice staff. Decent breakfast included (I’m picky for good quality and healthy- so that a huge compliment from me). Small bar and coffee bar downstairs. All faces great!

Lots of homeless and scary people around. Do not walk at night. Even during the day was sketchy. Some were aggressive. I’m an inner city person and I was a little unnerved. This is not the hotels fault. But a heads up if you are staying with children and plan on walking around. Call Uber!

The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Everyone from housekeeping to the front desk definietly made me feel welcomed.

The breakfast was disappointing, at best. There were no potatoes (running out days before aren't really a good reason to throw at guests). The waffle were burnt and too hard to eat, especially since there were no knives to use. There was no coffee available. There was mustard, ketchup, mayo and hot sauce, but not salsa (to make breakfast burritos) or even cream cheese for the bagels. Having a good breakfast was one of the deciding factors when I booked the stay, and I do feel it was far below my expectations.

Location and breakfast was good, staff we good, easy to checkin and checkout , not asking for extra deposit , overall it was good.

4 rooms Doors are closer to each others, and super bad locking system, to much noisy doors, can you imagine, for example these four room, 221-222 and 220-219 , all these four rooms doors are in 4 ft square area, if 222 came late or go out then all three will be disturb, so you cant sleep whole night, just keep listen doors noise and feeling like someone hitting your room door, This is worst part of this hotel,

I loved the location. The breakfast was excellent. The rooms were big enough to accommodate all of us.

The beds were not as comfortable as I like, but everyone is different. Wish you had a pool. We would have liked chocolate muffins for breakfast or snacks. Was lied to about shuttle service. Wished the restaurant would have had burgers or regular pizza.

Great location to the best attractions in Atlanta - less than 15 15-minute walk to the Georgia Aquarium & World of Coke. The hotel provides a free shuttle for guests (which will drive up to a 3-mile radius from the hotel), which I use to get to the closest MARTA station. Breakfast was great and included in the price of the room. I had a king suite - very spacious, comfortable and pleasant! Front desk staff were super friendly and willing to provide local recommendations .

close to lots of things. the restaurant next door was really good. lots of security. and a spacious room. I also had a special request that they immediately began working on.

I didn’t love the beds. they were a little firm for side sleepers. but that’s mostly a preference thing. and the bathroom was super tiny. we ended up not closing the door ever because it was difficult, but I could imagine that would be hard for anyone outside a very close couple.

Lori at the Front Desk, she was awesome! As were all the other Front Desk people and general staff! Everyday the Breakfast was fabulous, it certainly had something for everyone! The location was perfect for any downtown function! And there's a Lunch/Dinner Restaurant & Bar right next door! I needed a couple of Phillips screwdrivers to repair the retractable handle on my suitcase and the maintenance staff was very accommodating :) The rates were definitely affordable! I would highly recommend the Hyatt Place Atlanta Downtown to anyone that has to stay downtown Atlanta!

There was nothing I didn't like about the hotel and it's location!
