Hospitality, the staff the decor all were wonderful. The staff was very engaged, professional and welcoming. A few small things to note, though. There was a coffee cup sitting on a utility box, of sorts, outside our room for 2-days in the hallway, the chairs in the main living room area could use a deep clean (beige fabric is tough to keep clean and the arm rests showed it) and I thoroughly appreciated the Champagne upon check-in for my birthday but glass or clear plastic stemware instead of clear plastic dixie cups would have been so awesome. Just think of champagne toast photos in the hotel photo gallery. It was a little strange drinking it out of small plastic dixie cups. Besides that, everything was great. The bed and pillows were plush and the room darkening blinds made me want to sleep well past check-out!

I would love to have been able to enjoy a late checkout (an hour past 12 noon would have been great). My stay was overnight, and a treat to myself for my birthday, but I didn't get to see/enjoy all that the hotel may have had to offer.

Interiors of the hotel are amazing, the property is clean, lobby is exciting and the hotel staff is courteous. Choice of carpet, flooring tiles, fixtures and furniture adds to the charm.

This may be more of booking.com thing, “included breakfast” is not the traditional way instead a $30/day credit for the restaurant bill. Breakfast items are relatively expensive and there is a service charge, the daily credit may not cover all of that. I and the other 5 coworkers were surprised to see those additional charges during checkout. The other cost one might not notice is $50/day parking. It says valet parking included with your stay but in reality you are paying that in addition to room tariff.

Loved the midcentury modern aesthetic. -Entire property was very clean. -King room had plenty of space. -Location is perfect for being in walking distance to Buckhead Village. -Complimentary wine/snack happy hour. -Glass of Champagne upon check in. -Staff were very friendly. -Water pressure in the shower was great.

-Parking is only valet and is $50 a night. -There was a very loud buzzing noise from the A/C. -The bed was a little too firm for my personal taste, and the pillows were bad. -The carpet in our room had some stains. -The shower is one of those without a door that closes, so water got everywhere after taking a shower. There was also no fan, so the entire bathroom steamed up.

We were greeted by the very friendly valet, Malcolm Greene! He helped us with our luggage cart and explained how we could request our car at any time! Malcolm was efficient and professional! Next, the front desk clerk greeted us with a friendly smile and lots of compliments! He was very friendly and a pleasure to meet! He asked us if we'd like some complimentary champagne 🍾 Nice!!! He explained that at 5 p.m. there'd be complimentary snacks and drinks! Coffee would be available in the morning in the sun room. The Betty served breakfast at 7 a.m. and dinner was from 5 p.m. - 11 p.m We enjoyed the beautiful clean room! Very nice! Having a late snack was delicious! We split a yummy hamburger and delicious Mac & Cheese! Dawson was a very friendly, professional, and efficient bartender and server! He was there to fill up our water glasses and to see if everything was good! We can't wait to come back to the beautiful Kimpton Sylvan Hotel in Buckhead Atlanta!

The hotel staff were excellent! Super friendly and all seemed to like their jobs and their co-workers. The bed and pillows were great! Everything was very clean. I also love a hotel with an on-site restaurant. The bar staff were fun!

Two simple amenities were missing for me: A complimentary bottle of water on arrival and a bathrobe. I arrived late and paid $10 for a mini-bar bottle of water. That was not a great start. A $2 investment on the part of Kimpton Hotels would have earned an excellent rating.

The property was absolutely amazing. We didn’t know there was valet parking ONLY, but it worked out perfectly. During checkin, we were offered Wine and h’orderves. Our rooms were very nice and clean! Comfortable king bed! Fully stocked fridge! (Expensive things though) The rooftop was very nice! The restaurant’s food was as exceptional ! And the drinks! What I love..is that we were minutes away from everything.

The hotel is very modern. I loved the pool area with the private bar. The mini bar prices were reasonable. I was there for the Arte Agave event. This was the perfect venue to host. I absolutely loved it.

There wasn't a coffee maker in the room or an extra blanket in the closet. Don't stay on the 2nd floor if you choose a garden view. If a customer prepays, there needs to be an option to add the incidental (check-in) charge and additional parking expenses to the booking at the time of payment.

Really nicely designed room and space

Staff was less than helpful with my check-in. Drove in around 11pm after a very long drive. Just me, 2 dogs, lots of stuff. No assistance with unloading the car, basically told me to move from the valet spot to unload. Didn’t offer a cart or to help. There was a drier sheet tucked into the smoke detector—I removed it thinking the previous guests did it to smoke, only to realize it actually just flashes all night.

I loved the mid-Century modern décor of the entire hotel. My room was so beautiful I could have stayed there forever. The fitness room, pool, and roof top bar were amazing! I highly suggest the cocktail, Naked and Afraid.

There was construction near the hotel that woke me up. When I mentioned this to the hotel staff they gave me a coupon for a free drink at the bar. Also, none of the restaurants were open for dinner during my two night stay and I was looking forward to trying them. There were several restaurants nearby though.

My boyfriend and I had a wonderful stay! The staff welcomed us and we immediately headed to the complimentary Happy Hour which was a nice touch. Our room came with a nice view and it was very clean. My only con ( which is very minor) the hotels driveway is not that large so valet was a little challenging and took some time. Other than that I highly recommend this hotel, even for a short staycation. :)
