I have to respond to any ‘haters’. When looking for a place to stay in Savannah, my main aim was to save money but have a nice, clean place. Carole Hotel was very cheap compared to what else was on offer but definitely 110% excellent value for money. Naturally, I was driving, so parking right outside the motel-style room was perfect. Clean, with a tv, fridge and a/c (heating / cooling) system. Comfortable bed. Bathroom was fine - acceptable. For the price, no issues … interesting style shower but excellent, warm & hot water no issue. Location was also excellent with plenty of places to eat only a few minutes drive away. I found a great laundromat around 1.2 miles away …! If you want a comfortable place on the cheap … then, I’d definitely recommend! Oh yes, the key card needs to be collected from the office up the road - 21 Main Street … a few mins drive away. The message via Booking.com makes it clear … no issues, easy - just advise making sure you get there by / before 9pm to collect the card in person. Oh, yes … felt totally safe there … noooo issues at all (in reply to horrible negative comments people have written & left when you search for this place via Google Maps!). Yes, I would stay there again … easy access to historic district of Savannah as well!

No issues! Perfect for the price!

The room was clean, cute and small which was perfect for my girlfriend and I. The motel was only 10 minutes from downtown Savannah and 15-20 minutes from my parent’s house in Pooler. The front desk woman was really helpful and responsive in accommodating our late check in (after 9pm).

The train was loud at night on our second night, but we’re heavy sleepers so that was fine really. The motel is in the middle of nowhere, but food and shopping is only 10 minutes away. A few sketchy ppl in the area but no one bothered us.

Clean, comfortable and we loved the retro vibes. The gentleman that got us our key was very polite. We also enjoyed the trains, there was two that went through between 4:30 pm and 9am and you could barely hear them in the room.

The only issue we had was the tv not switching channels, they offered to switch rooms for us but it wasn’t a big enough problem to go through all that.

They have great service and are very helpful in times of need, I was staying there during hurricane Helene working and had to leave because the plant did not have power, upon my return they gave me the nights back that was booked and not used. For that I am grateful 10/10 would highly recommend can’t beat the price when your traveling for work.

Excellent value at the price. I had no issues with the check in process or with any of the accommodations and I was there during a tropical storm. Other travelers have mentioned having to get the key from another location a- it's right around the corner and added no time to a check in process. The room was clean and well equipped. The room key was a little tricky but not a game changer.

I didn't find anything objectionable.

Clean. The closest most affordable accommodation near Savannah. Room was clean on a bus line going to downtown.

Key was extremely tricky to work at first. It has to be held horizontally and moved slightly to the right and either a red or green light will go off indicating it is unlocked. No onsite staff so if you want to check in with a person you have to drive up the road. Walls are thin as is common in roadside motels so expect to overhear your neighbors conversations.

Everything was good, it was clean and had everything you need. Bed was comfy and easy to sleep in. Only 10-15 mins drive to the central

The ground in the room felt greasy and it was annoying when the train would go by during the night and honk its horn. No public transport near so if you needed to get into the central you’ll either have to take an uber or have your own car

It was better than expected for the price. It was clean and everything was functional. And, it included a full-size refrigerator.

The shower was small, but not much can be done about that. You probably want to bring shower shoes, since the entire floor is tiled and can be slick when your feet are wet.

To start... The receptionist Mandy was exceptional in accommodating my needs. Made Sure that I had extra towels and promptly fixed an issue that I had with the shower curtain. I would definitely recommend this place for the price. They go over and beyond to make your stay pleasurable.

Hey... What's not to like, great option for the price, good location with some quick convenient stores & food in the vicinity. Just wished the had some shower mats.

Aside from the LOUD Train Horns from across the street every night, I enjoyed this second stay very much! The Manager & Her Assistant were great as always! Upon my first entry, the entire Room was nice & clean. It has a Full-Size Refrigerator, a Microwave, Bed was CLEAN & comfy, plenty of lights, a nice big TV to binge-watch Law-&-Order and Chicago PD/911 on, & good size Closet. Just the hot water pressure was low in the mornings; I guess due to it still being cold outside at the time.

The Railroad Tracks are literally across the street from the Hotel and so is an entire Residential Neighborhood! So you'd think that the Train Operators would show some COURTESY towards all of us Residents-&-Visitors, by REFRAINING from blowing the Hell out of their Train Horns throughout the night! But instead, they have a VERY BAD HABIT of blowing their horns long & loud throughout the night, which CONSTANTLY woke me up during my stay. I REALLY wish they would STOP doing that from like, 9 or 10pm-to-7am every night. Aside from that, I enjoyed my stay very much!
