Parking was less expensive than other places. We were able to purchase sightseeing tickets in the lobby. There were 2 waffle makers available to speed up breakfast. Location was good, easy walk to City Market and Trolley ride. It was also close to good stairs leading to River Street. There was a white noise machine in the room. The tour guide on the trolley told us Bay Street was the busiest/loudest street in Savannah.
It was older, but it was clean. The door had to be slammed to close it. The handle getting out of the shower was loose and I had to shove it back into place when I held onto it. I didn’t not tell the staff about the door or the handle, honestly my mind was preoccupied with sightseeing and enjoying family time to think about it.

Appreciated the slightly late checkout time. All day coffee and tea is always a plus. Staff was friendly and accommodating. The early check in due to availability was also much appreciated. Property is very conveniently located to the river front and restaurants.
I stayed for a day upon arrival but only a 1st floor room was available. I don’t like staying on the 1st floor with direct access to the parking lot and public access. When I stayed another night prior to departing Savannah, I was given a 2nd floor room and allowed to check in early. The tiny shampoo bottles are really hard to press when using.

The breakfast was fantastic! Many options offered! My husband loved the biscuits and gravy, he had them every day we were there. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We needed ice a couple of times, they got it quickly. We needed towels, received them quickly. Our room was large and comfortable as was the bathroom. The hotel was close to both river street and the historic district.
It was rather noisy in the later evening hours. Not much you can do about that, since the hotel is on a busy corner. It really didn't detract from our stay.

The location was the key to deciding to go with this. Walking distance to many of the key areas in the historic district. Had a good selection of food for breakfast. Staff was great. room was clean.
It is amazing what we pay for hotels, these days. Here, you pay for the location. The hotel is totally fine, and clean on the inside. If you are sensitive to noise, it is near a busy street. Friday night cruising and partying was apparent from our room, but not my brother's. We did have some people hanging out on the stairwell, who were locals, not using the hotel, but using "other things". The were very nice and apologetic, however. We always felt safe and the staff was very accommodating.

This was the ideal location for my trip! We were within 5 minutes the everything we wanted to see and visit. Truly was in the historic district. There were so many good bars and restaurants right near us. The river front was right on the corner and down the stairs and because of the holiday, everything was decorated and they even had little pop up shops down by the water. People seem to complain about the noise but if you look at a map, the location is near every bumpin’ bar and club. If you want quiet, find a non-motel style hotel. They do give you a sound machine in the room and that was so incredibly helpful when we wanted to sleep soundly. I loved the breakfast. The man running the area was SO SWEET and kind. I think his name was Andre. The hotel staff and concierge were so helpful during our stay. We got in super late and everything was expedited so we could just go up and crash. Checking out, we had time to kill and they had no problem holding our luggage for a few hours.
Honestly, there are no complaints from me.

I liked the hot breakfast, scrambled eggs, bacon, boiled eggs, cheese, grits, toast, bagels waffles, cereal, fruits, one day they had biscuits and gravy, and hasbrowns. Coffee was good too. I love that the hotel was close to the River Street and all the shops and restaurants. I love that it is pet friendly as well. The beds and pillows are super comfortable! The bathroom was big, I loved the extra towels in the morning. Lots of channels to see on the tv. Overall it was a clean hotel and everyone was super nice, including the security guards at night.
I didn't like the parking....I only saw you could park either in the main entrance, side of the building or in the back. We left our spot to drive to Jekyll Island because Savannah's closest beach (Tybee) does not accept dogs on the beach, when we came back we had to drive around in circles until someone left to be able to park....totally frustrated about that, even more so when you are paying $30-$35 for daily parking.

ANDRE!!!! He came through the breakfast area Sunday morning, helping, speaking to folks, etc. This young man was AMAZING!. He was like a breath of fresh air from what we encountered on Saturday. Also, the young fella @ check in was very helpful & pleasant as well as the late Saturday night front desk lady who we asked for wash cloths.
On Saturday morning, the breakfast staff (2 ladies) were rude, condescending & just hateful. Also, the man sitting at the tourist information desk sat in his chair in such a way that his back side was CLEARLY EXPOSED & unavoidable to see. Very unprofessional. Children were present & it was just too much. These are the only 2 things but they were huge in terms of an enjoyable stay.

The location is premium. Close to everything in Savannah.
When I booked I was not aware of an extra $36/night for parking which was not included in the booking fee. Also they have a mini market and went to buy 2 bottles of Dasani water (nothing fancy) and paid almost $12 for it. Not even at the airport I’ve paid such amount for a water bottle. It was midnight and nothing where to buy.

The property was in a great location . City market was in front of us and River street was behind us . It was a minute walk to both locations .
It was very noisy at night . The noise was coming from the street . You could hear the cats, trucks and people . I still would stay at this property but would request a room in the back of the hotel .

Had a full breakfast that was good, bed's were comfortable, TV had a line through the screen as if someone had hit the TV, made it hard to watch. The refrigerator was very hard to open because of the location. Had to tip it back to open. Location was great we were able to walk to a lot of restaurants and was able to walk along the river.
Paying for parking at the motel.
