Breakfast was good. Loved having coffee available 24 hours daily as well as the cookies in the late afternoon! The location of the hotel was perfect and in walking distance of most everything we wanted to see and do in the historic district. The bathroom was very nice and roomy!

We did not like the barking dog in our hallway! This dog barked for hours at a time! We suggest guests with pets be on a separate floor from other guests!

Attempted to call facility all day with no response had to send someone over to the facility just to ANSWER the phone! And that individual was rude and acted like he was being bothered!!. Then when I made it to the facility I was not able to get in and I could see someone in the back office sitting there ignoring my knocks, ring, and phone calls. The stay was good but customer service was disgusting!

The hotel is in a great location - very convenient to walk to River Street and the historic district. The room was spacious and very clean. The complimentary breakfast was convenient and included a lot of options, including waffles, bagels, cereal, and eggs/sausage.

Breakfast was excellent. Breakfast staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was very nice. Bathroom very clean. Larger products (hair shampoo, hair conditioner and body lotion) were a great addition. Bed was super.

Not overly friendly front desk staff- three interactions with them. Check in, purchase of item from store by front desk and request for hand towels and wash clothes. No new hand towels and wash clothes after second day. We stayed three days.

I liked the location. Staff were friendly and helpful. Convenient location if you like the Old Town Trolley Tours. It's about a 3 minute walk from the Old Town Trolley Tours station.

I didn't like that I had to park so far away from my building because there wasn't enough parking in my hotel.

We got a great reception from Aniyah the receptionist. Who went on to make sure that we had a great stay. Talking to other guests and staff made me know that she's like that to every guest. She is an Angel. Above and beyond, I told my husband but he said any word beyond greater than that, fits better. The manager, Soraya was nice too. We kept getting messages every morning to check on us and find out if we are ok and if we need anything. The coffee was always hot and never lacked a refill. I enjoyed that. At breakfast, we noticed some great staff, Mitchell, works sooooo hard cleaning and moving trash, she is so dedicated. Yoyo is an angel, a darling to all adults and children. I think they run a great team there. My husband and I plan to go back. We have also told people about there in this short while. I didn't turn the TV on because I loved seeing my name on the screen when I came in, I didn't want it to disappear. The last time I saw that was in Savoy Hotel, Sharmel Sheikh, years back, so, I was thrilled! These staff at Hampton Inn & Suites Savannah Historic District, 603 Oglethorpe Ave. Savannah make the hotel a home away from home, I give it to them. We live everything about the place. I can go on and on. I felt sad leaving.

That I left, finally.

The location was convenient to SCAD. It was clean and and well maintained.

The parking overflow is not fully explained at booking. If the on-site parking lot is full, which it was our entire stay, you have to park a block away in the shared parking garage.

Staff, location, breakfast, and rooms were all great.

My main problem was that they charged 35 dollars per night for parking without having enough parking spots for the amount of guess. I am handy capped and if the front desk lady had not moved a cone they had in a marked off area for van unloading I don't know where I could have parked. This also caused people to park in handy capped parking spots that were not handy capped. I wish I had gotten the front desk ladies name because she was wonderful and very helpful. It was early evening shift July 12th through 15th.

Great location, beautiful, historic, the staff were friendly, the room was clean and ready for us when we arrived. Parking was easy to find.

No bags in the trash cans or in the room so we had to leave the trash on the floor. The mini fridge was a little wobbly, but it was okay. The parking garage didn't print out a ticket for us so we were charged an extra $80 for parking (two separate times). That was the worst part. Our room key didn't scan in the parking garage but worked on the door so basically if we drove anywhere, we had to pay for it. We had to drive twice because we were in town for a convention.

It said there was free parking when I booked the room, this was one of the reasons I chose this establishment and then we were told the parking garage was $35 a day. We were never told to use our room key when exiting the garage so the garage charged us a different rate. We were under the impression we would be paying $140.00 for parking. Instead we paid $206.00 at the garage. This was our 1st visit and had no idea how this worked. Please share with customers as they check so they can avoid the same disappointment of paying an additional $66 The person checking us out when we questioned the parking charge said she couldn't do anything about it.
