I had a great experience at a hotel in a fantastic location. Plenty of transportation options were nearby, including a bus stop in front of the hotel, a metro, and an elevated train. Since my mother had trouble walking long distances, we used Uber, which was affordable because everything was close by. The hotel staff, with their warm and attentive demeanor, left a lasting impression. Despite the language barrier, they went above and beyond to cater to my Spanish-speaking mother's needs, displaying genuine care and concern. Their exceptional service significantly contributed to the comfort and enjoyment of our stay. I was surprised that breakfast wasn't included, but I might have missed that when I made the reservation. However, the breakfast at the hotel restaurant was excellent. Special thanks to the waiter who found my bag with all my documents and money on a chair in the restaurant and rushed after me in the street to return it.

I was asked for my credit card during check-in to block $100. I understand that this could be a hotel policy; however, it would have been nice to be informed in advance during the booking process. Since the hotel was prepaid, I assumed no credit card would be required.

Excellent location. Friendly staff. Fair price. The street has easy public transportation around the block. Metro about 2 blocks and buses also, 2-3 block depending where you want to go. All about 4-5 min walk. There are many restaurants around the hotel, but you can look further for lower prices. The room rate did not have breakfast included which you can check with the next door pub Elephant & Castle. The price within the range of local restaurants. The service is really good and very nice place. Uhm... but there's McDonald's, Subway and Dunkin Donuts around. Lol. It helped a lot. You can walk to many locations like Grant Park... that is about 25 min walk. The Art Institute of Chicago is about 18min walk. Willis Tower is just a 5min walk. The hotel is 10 store high and here are the goodies: 1. every floor has a water fountain station with bottles so you can fill and refill as much as you like. Yes... they offer free water. 2. they have a LAUNDRETTE which is free of charge. Three washing machines and three dryers. Soap included at no charge. I've never seen this at any hotel for free. On third floor. 3. They also have a guest help center - it's actually a room on each floor where you can get items you forgot to pack for your trip like deodorant, shaving cream, toothbrush and other small kits. Helpful. 4. There was also ice machine, a soda vending machine and a snack vending machine. Also on third floor. 5. They have a guest area with meeting facility and coffee machine available.

The room was ok in size but the space to get to the other side of bed was tight. The mattress seemed old and well used with a curve on the center. For last... I was on the 9th floor and I could hear the service trucks on building's side service road late at night, but not for a long time. No acoustic windows.

I had a very nice 6 night stay here, close to subway and bus stops and a short walk to the main attractions. I liked the option to check in and check out myself which meant I didnt have to queue, and also having the digital key card on my phone. My room did have a fridge which came in handy and a coffee machine with pods. I had lovely French toast breakfast in the adjoining "British" pub, and the Fish and Chips dinner was just like back home. I reported an issue with the toilet, I left and when I came back after 4 hours it was fixed.

The only other issues I had was with the noise from the guests talking outside. I notice the rooms at the end had an outer door before the room door, but for my room it was either removed or never installed. Most areas of my room was clean but I did find small metal tags next to the bathroom bin belonging to previous guests and the bedside table especially the clock radio was a bit dusty.

We loved the location—right in the heart of the Loop/Financial District. There was easy access to all major subway lines, including the Blue Line to and from the airport. Our room was a decent size. The only downside was that our window faced the fire escape stairs and the wall of a nearby building. A better view—even just onto Adams Street—would have made this a 10/10. The reception staff were very responsive and helpful.

Housekeeping had to be requested. On the first day, our room wasn’t serviced at all—not even with the "light" service. The floor wasn’t vacuumed until the third day, and only after we specifically asked for it. (The day before, our room had been made up, but the floor was still not vacuumed.) One of the two elevators serving the Central Loop floors was out of service for the entire length of our stay. (There are four elevators in total—two for Central Loop guests and two for Club Quarters guests.)

Location,3 minutes from subway. Staff exceptional and good breakfast until our last day,Saturday Rooms comfortable, coffee machine,Nespresso but unlimited ⁰coffee and tea below reception area to which they allowed us access to even after we had checked out. Won't be in Chicago again, but if we were, we would have no hesitation about staying in this hotel again.

As I said, good breakfast until the last day, which was a self-serve buffet, which was cold,no plates or utensils, and the Saturday staff could not really care. Put a small blot on an otherwise really good stay.

For the price it was kinda unbeatable; ~$125/night for central Chicago relatively updated/modern hotel room AND a made-to-order breakfast with refill coffee at the pub downstairs included, it was fantastic value for money. Very comfortable room, nice TV, clean, no signs of bed bugs on inspection, fridge/microwave/coffee maker in-room, effective A/C, good block out curtains, not much street noise up on the 10th floor and no other guests heard in other rooms, staff available 24/7 & always friendly, chilled filtered water plus free plastic water bottles available on the 10th floor (and possibly others too) near the elevators which was extremely handy for long summer sightseeing days and tasted good. Great location, easy walking distance to Sears tower, Art Institute, and basically all the main sights, and for further away things like the planetarium it's easy to get to various train and bus routes from the hotel. Would definitely stay here again if back in Chicago!

I'm honestly struggling to think of anything... The mini bar is pricey, but all mini bars are, so this isn't really a negative as such - point is, there are snacks available if you need them late night/jetlagged/etc for the expected conflated price. If you wanted your room fully cleaned/towels changed etc every day, you'd have to let the staff know each morning. I think this amount of cleaning is excessive personally so it wasn't an 'issue' I encountered. No safe in the closet if you wanted to lock up your passport etc.

The location can't be beat: this hotel is in the middle of everything, with easy access to sights and museums, restaurants, shopping, and public transportation. The staff were welcoming and helpful, and the bed was comfortable, even if the room itself was a little cramped. The exercise room was well equipped, and the common rooms were very nice.

Our room was narrow and rather cramped; the amenities and furniture were fine, but the bed was so close to the corner that it was hard to get around to on the far side. It seems as if many of the original rooms had been cut down to increase occupancy. Given the cost of the room, I had expected a little more room to maneuver.

I felt very safe at this hotel, even with it being in the midst of the city. The location was great and there were numerous restaurants nearby, with one being attached to the hotel. That one had great tasting food, and it was nice not having to get out and search for a place to eat after a long day of travel. The hotel staff was very helpful and friendly, and even though it was a busy lobby, with people checking in and checking out at all times of the day, the staff made sure they recognized each person who was waiting to be helped, and when it was our turn, they took their time answering all questions.

Although the room was very clean, it was much smaller than we expected, but that's not something that can be changed. It was the bathroom that was especially small, but there were hooks and racks up where we could keep our items, so it worked out okay for us.

Amazing location close to everything including train station to arrive from the airport. Included breakfast which was really good and there is a bar downstairs for a nightcap before bed. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Great value for chicago right in the city.

The staff didn't really check us in they just pointed to the kiosk to do it ourselves. But we did like the kiosk for checking out because it was so fast and efficient. Aside from that we would stay again as it was a great hotel and amazing location.

I picked this hotel based on price and location. Driving through Chicago was insane, but everything was so easy once we arrived at the hotel. They had a loading zone and didn’t mind if we left the car there for a while as we unloaded the car and checked in. They gave us a map of where to park the car and where to catch the red line to the baseball game. The front desk people were all very nice and very informative. I loved the water station they have on every floor. They provide new water bottles and filtered water. I’ve never seen a hotel do that before. I also very much appreciated the laundry. I usually struggle with noise when I stay in hotels and as you walk down the hall of this one, you can hear everyone’s tv, but once I was inside our room I literally didn’t hear a neighboring room once the entire time we were there and I know people were in the next room. It was impressive. The location was also fantastic for everything we wanted to do. Everything was walkable. One evening we even had time to go back to the hotel before our next activity.

A fridge and a microwave would have been nice but we did ok without them.
