Amazing location, a few minutes walk from State Street for shopping, the Christmas market and the blue line train for their airport. Bus stop right outside the hotel brings you directly to Lincoln Zoo. Staff were so friendly and upgraded our room on arrival. Room was huge with plenty of facilities. The buffet breakfast was amazing, with even a vegetarian section - loved their hash browns. Would definetly recommend this hotel as it's within walking distance to most tourist sites.

There's not a lot of restaurants and bars directly in this area, but an 8 minute walk will bring you to Pizanos Pizza which was a great find. The hotel also has a restaurant and bar too which is very handy if your tired in the evening.

Clean and updated rooms. Very nice public spaces. Full breakfast everyday was not the best tasting or very hot but great variety. Worked well for my friend who is vegan and I can't eat grains, yet there was something for all of us to eat. Coffee at breakfast was normal strength and not weak dirty dishwater. Staff were friendly but not overly effusive (which makes me crazy). There's yummy water infused with fruit in the lobby that we drank every time we came and went. There is a 7-11 downstairs which is super convenient and the attached restaurant called Roanoke is quite good with nice servers. Convenient location about 10-15 minute walk to the Cultural Center and the AIC. Very good bargain for our winter girls' long weekend.

Breakfast was cold (but supposed to be hot). Ran out of coffee for at least a half hour. The bedroom wall in our 2 queen bed suite did not go up to the ceiling, nor was there a door, so this was not a true one-bedroom - nothing to block the noise or light if someone wanted to stay up late. No sunshine in our room, but we weren't in it during the day anyway. Our friend had a room with sunlight, so they exist, just ask for them.

Great location. Comfortable beds. Good facilities in the room with great kitchen facilities. A full size fridge and even a stovetop, though we didn't cook a meal while we were there. The hotel breakfast had a good range. It was reasonably quiet considering we were right in the city, though we heard some traffic and siren noises at night. The curtains were quite good blockout for the light. The shower sprayed into the rest of the bathroom a bit, it was a poor design for the screen.

The room wasn't super clean. Not awful just grimy corners in the shower and our feet got pretty black walking barefooted in our room. It felt like it needed a really good, deep clean.

Excellent breakfast, comfortable bed, great location, clean and spacious suite. Daily housekeeping was appreciated.

The suite was quite dark. We were on the fourth floor, which made things worse given the tall buildings all around, but I would guess that's true even for the higher floors. To make things worse, the lighting in the living area was also quite dim. The internet speed was so-so - OK for email and the like, but not good enough for streaming movies.

The hotel is located in a nice old-fashioned building. The neighbourhood seemed safe, and was relatively quiet: the L was one block away. Air conditioning was good, and at the same time a window could be opened, which helped us get some fresh air. Breakfast was pretty decent. Everything was within walking distance, which is super helpful for short stays in Chicago.

The only minor issue with a room is the shower: there is no door, and water keeps splashing and spilling on the floor. Also, two out of three days, there was no pastry at the breakfast: our toddler was a little bit disapponted.

The property was very clean with a welcoming and helpful staff. We traveled in for Lollapalooza and expected it to be a little loud but there was blissful quiet and comfortable beds. We got a nice view and had a very good breakfast. We got into the city early and rooms weren’t ready, but we were able to store our bags at the hotel and explore the city. They called us as soon as a room was available. Also they offered guests who were needing to change outfits a clean restroom to change before they stored their bags. Photo of bedroom is after we had sat in the room a bit.

No, everything was fabulous.

great to have a space where we could gather before and after exploring the city. rooms were clean, and quiet for the most part at night. breakfast area was large and quite good. Staff was very helpful and pleasant. Garage parking in an out available through voucher at hotel a plus. Walked to theater for shows, The Dearborn restaurant, The Elephant and Castle restaurant for soccer games, AMC dine in to see Wicked. Even walked to Eataly in 2 degree weather— in warm weather everything is walkable.

Great location. Three blocks away from State St (full of stores - Chicago Theatre) Walking distance from all attractions. Metro station close by. Clean, ample rooms. Comfortable beds. Love the lemon, strawberry, cucumber flavored waters they provide in dispensers in the lobby. Breakfast is ok. After a few days is becomes pretty repetitive.

Two days in a row my kids room was not cleaned. If you enjoy your latte in the morning, heat your milk in your room and take it to breakfast No hot milk is provided so latte turns into Frappuccino really fast.

Excellent location. Walking distance from everything if you enjoy walking. Area is full of shops and supermarkets. Room is ample and luminous. Extremely comfortable beds. Loved the flavored water available in the entrance. it is exactly what you need after a long walk.

No hot milk available for morning latte or any flavored coffee mate. Breakfast is quite basic and does not vary so it gets pretty monotonous after a couple of days. Containers are provided if you prefer to take your breakfast to your room.

The room is a great size and it was good to have my own kitchen to use when I wanted eat alone of an evening. The bed was really comfortable and the bathroom was great. The included breakfast had lots of choices and was a good way to start the day. The hotel is in an excellent location for work trips in the business area of The Loop, however it's also easy to walk to the river, park, shops and theatre district.
