Everything. The facilities are modern and well maintained. The entire staff is very cordial. Breakfast choices were plentiful and varied each day. We stayed there once before and were so impressed we booked again. We are baseball fans, and this hotel is just across the Ohio River from Great American Stadium.

The only negative for us was our timing. We were not familiar with the annual Flying Pig Marathon, which was scheduled the same weekend as our stay. Several downtown Cincinnati streets were closed, so we had to be rerouted to the stadium. Thankfully, the Reds organization sent messages advising the GPS routes to the games.

Breakfast was excellent; many options to suitable for anyone's tastes. Room was comfortable, but will say that the "river view" was a pinhole view over top of a cement wall. Basically a great view of the parking lot (LOL), but that didn't make or break our stay. Staff was friendly and helpful!

Location was the only downside for us; didn't realize that we would have a slight walk to catch the trolly for the game and not many sit down restaurants around in walking distance (spouse is on a cane, so anything over a 1/4-1/5 mile is far for him). Area seemed a little rougher too but none of that is on the hotel; I should have done more research on the distances. This is a great hotel overall!

it was nice and clean.

when i got back to the hotel after midnight and all the spots were taken. I went in to ask the front desk where do i park. they told me i had to park behind these party stores that they owned the lot back there. I looked at them like what. so i turned around when i was walking out and one of the gentlemen said it’s ok to park there there are cameras back there and i park there. He then made a remark to the other gentleman about it. mind you i was by myself a middle age female. it didn’t look to be the safest area. i didn’t feel safe walking from behind that area. cameras or not. We all should be able to park in the main lot. i felt safe in that the night before when i came back late and parked in the hotel well lighted parking lot.

The facilities were very classy, in excellent condition, and the breakfasts were delicious. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel and room were very comfortable. There was plenty of parking space and the hotel was easy to find and access. We were very pleased.

Well, this was unrelated to the hotel, but we booked with a third party. Due to this, the staff were unable to do much to help us when we missed a day of stay due to the airline delays. We ended up arriving a day later, but the manager we talked to by phone kept our reservation active and we were able to enjoy the hotel for the remaining days. I tried to make the booking with IHG using the option offered to match prices by filling a form. However the response I received from the price match left me totally confused. Still, I thought the third party was a better price. Next time, I'll book with IHG

Very relaxed atmosphere. Stayed in double queen suite. It was big and spacious. I've worked in housekeeping for 10+ years in various facilities , including as a Housekeeping Supervisor at a hotel , and can say that the beds were made to perfection here and room was clean. Housekeeping is doing an excellent job and is definitely not for the weak. The staff all looked like they all enjoyed working there. Front desk was friendly and helpful with questions. Housekeeping was great !

The public/common areas of the hotel were obviously very well taken care of. This is not a new property but does display a good effort in maintaining cleanliness and overall attention, something most hotels now days fail at miserably. The general corporate mindset is typically at fault for the staff not being allowed to go "above and beyond". This property is in good hands in my opinion. The room showed slight age, however was extremely clean with one exception near the hand grip in the shower. The breakfast was one of the better experiences I have had lately, with ample choices available. On tap was fresh fruit, juices, milk, yogurt, eggs, sausage, great biscuits, good sausage gravy, pancakes you make yourself, and they retain the canister style coffee thermals and not the new fangled coffee syrup in bags. there was a nice selection of pastries and breads available as well. The most refreshing thing I witnessed was a member of staff constantly monitoring the condition of the breakfast area and quickly attending to any deficiency. This is TRUE costumer service. I believe this hotel staff has Your best interest in mind. TWO THUMBS UP !!!

I would have loved to get this hotel for $75 less, but let's face facts....It's near the river and its busy season....I'll try this one again at Thanksgiving when it is a little slower here !

The staff was amazing. The location in regard to our events was perfect. Free breakfast with a variety of items.The room itself was huge and you could throw a dance party in the bathroom.

The beds were too soft and ended up pulling my back out trying to get out of it. Our shower head was broken so we had to hold it the whole time. We let them know and when we got back a few hours later, it was fixed. No bacon with the continental breakfast, except on Mondays... why??

It would be nice if check out could be the same as check in. In other words, at least 24 hours. It seems like a rip off. If you check in at 3pm you should have a 3 pm check out the next day even though most people won't stay that late but it would be nice to not have to get up so early.

Friendly staff and great value for money. Good breakfast and coffee. Cheap shuttle to/from downtown Cincy a short walk from the hotel. Appreciated the room upgrade after an early start and long driving day.

No complaints. The area around the hotel nondescript so if you want to park and walk then maybe stay across the river. But we feel safe and that has nothing to do with the property.

Check in staff member (Beth) was very friendly and helpful. Gave us several tips about going to and from the Reds game. All staff members we came in contact with, including housekeeping, were friendly and accommodating.

The deck around the pool was very slippery and dangerous. I have mobility problems and felt very unsafe walking around. I saw children slipping, too.
