This was the best place we could find just outside Lexington. Extremely comfortable beds and spacious room. Personnel was extremely friendly, especially in the restaurant. Overall everything conveys the feeling of a charming and cozy inn, though the hotel is nothing but on the countryside. Top-notch breakfast in the restaurant within the hotel, which was open until 10, which is definitely a plus for late in-checker like us.

Bathroom small and outdated (that is also why there are no pictures when you book the room, which is a tell-telling sing). Carpet in the room and overall all in the hotel need some renovation.

We loved the look of the hotel when you walk in. It was stunning! The restaurant was very nice. The design was wonderful and the outdoor area was very nice. The women at the front desk was very helpful. We were there for orientation and she gave us very good recommendations on what to do while we had an extra day to explore.

The price was a high for the room we got. The interior of the room needs a much needed makeover. The air condition unit was very loud when sleeping. We couldn't open the curtains in our room or look out the window. The restaurant was nice but the food was ok for the high cost of the items. The drinks were good but not a big enough selection. I wish there were more options to choose from.

Beautiful exterior, entryway, lobby, and Tavern. The room was very large, and the bed was comfortable .

Hallway carpets dingy appearance of needing cleaned or replaced, someone inked wording on top of the grey leater looking chair "HOOD" multiple times...there were coffee stains running down the bottom of wall near waste basket. The overall appearance of hallways and bedrooms need some updating and much needed TLC to brighten up and uplift an otherwise beautiful place to drive and walk into.

The property was clean, in a good location and very old and historic looking. We loved the ambiance. The staff were friendly.

The only things that were to detract us from staying there is there are no mini fridges in the rooms and the lack of free water in the lobby like a lot of hotels offer. We would have like to see coffee as well offered in the morning.

I like the entrance and how fancy everything looks. Bed and room were very comfy and clean

There was this noise in the morning very annoying around 7-9am kind of a electric motor going on and off every few minutes. Probably because I was near the elevator, but it was only early in the mornings.

Everything about this property was excellent! From the staff to the decor ! The staff were so friendly and welcoming! The rooms were comfy and comfortable! The hotel was fun and just made you feel good about your choice of stay in Lexington ! We are excited to go back again !

The food at the restaurant was amazing and the bar staff was top notch!

Could not stand how far are room was from the lobby. Phones in the room didn't work had to call the front desk from cell to get the front desk.

Staff were all great! Nice property, good location, great restaurant/vbar. The beds were very comfy!

In general, the condition of the property is looking a bit run down and not well-kept up (peeling wallpaper, grout needing replaced, skuff marks and scratches, etc)

The consistency of the experience plus price of hotel room. We have stayed there for the last few years.

The facility is a little dated. There’s been recently improved.

The decor was great and cozy! Loved the historic look.

My only complaint was being too close to the lobby/lounge. The noise and music could be heard quite loudly inside my room. Other than that everything was fantastic!
